HUD Free, open source poker tracking software: FPDB - (Version 0.40.5) - Nov 14, 2013 - Page 241 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

There are only a couple of things I can think of that can cause FPDB to go from working to not-working in the main gui without user interference.

1) Config file corruption - saving hud, usernames, import paths etc.
2) Weird database corruption - Missing bootstrap data.

The brute force solution is:
- backup the whole %APPDATA%/fpdb folder somewhere safe and delete that directory.
- Start FPDB again. As if it was "firstrun" it will recreate the config file, directories and database (assuming default setup). Verify that %APPDATA%/fpdb was recreated, and it should go.

If FPDB isn't working after that then you have other issues, and i'd be guessing.

Well i hope anyone can help me im playing on full tilt and pokerstars but i don't know how to make this working. I' ve just downloaded version 0.30.1 and i don't know what should i do now? May you send me some links of instruction or something? I will really appriciate this at the momment im that far....

Hey, i have some problem with "deal it twice" hadns.
Is it right that deal it twice hands from pokerstars can not be imported while it works for Full Tilt deal it twice hands?
Is there any chance to import them in a different way?

First, thanks for the program!
However I have a problem

I cant really get it to work, the major problem is, I think, that when I press anything under the meny "Viewers" nothing happens (except for the options: "tourney viewer", "Auto import and HUD", "stove" and "HUD preferences".

Does anyone have any idea about what to do about it?

Not sure about Win 8. Haven't had any reports saying it doesn't work, but that doesn't mena much.

I think dual monitors will only work if you drag to the second monitor. There is an issue in our bug tracker looking at the dual monitor issue that one of our users in the last couple of pages put together detailing the issue, but he didn't find a quick fix.

I believe dual monitor works if your main monitor (the one showing the start menu) is to the left (or likely, on top) of your secondary monitor (there were testimonials of this in this thread, and IIRC I saw that too when trying things out a bit).

If your configuration is different, your secondary monitor will get negative x-values and things will get hairy... a (somewhat quick but dirty) fix can be made in the source code that handles it for your specific configuration, but you'll need to get your hands dirty with python, I think.

Hi guyz. I used this program for 2 month without problem. I always play on CG, and yesterday I played a freeroll. After the freeroll, FPDB wouldn't start the HUD on my CG tables. So i restarted it, and now i have
Auto Import aborted.Global lock not available.
when I try to start the auto importation and the hud.

Any help ?

I'm guessing you have another instance of fpdb running, which is locking the database. You should try finding that and shutting it down properly. If that doesn't work, killing from task manager or restarting pc should do it.

Is 6 max hud stats including 9 max?

Any of you play in fulltilt has hud show up normally in the correct position?
Only main menu on the top left corner is displayed for mine, had to press set max seat=9 to get the job done. Please reply my message, kinda worry if I am the only one, it would be great help!

Hi guyz !

So, here is what i'm wondering :

When I'm playing, I like to have all the table on each other. Usually, when you do that, the table that require an action comes to the front. But with the HUD activated, I feel like every time there is an update on the hud, the table comes to the front ( for example, a hand just ended somewhere on a table, it comes to the front because the HUD received new data). This ends up with me missing actions and getting put in afk on some table.

Is there a way to fix that ?

hello,

ive downloaded thd fpdb. i have problems with the position of hud on full tilt 6max. i tried to play with the layout cordinats but it doesnt seems to work well. if i just move them manualy its makes the software go crazy. i have win xp. any idea what i can do? the auto import is fine btw but in this way its just unusefull.

probably a stupid question:

im using fpdb 0.29.907 from git with ftp (wine) on kubuntu and i cant figure out how to move the HUD. is there a way to move it around like with hm (right click hold -> drag) ?
do i have to play around with coords in the hud config ?
