PokerDebugger is now at your disposal!

The central element of this software is the Heads Up Display (HUD).
Our software should include all essential features and allow convenient handling. It is our aim to make this software as efficient as possible while providing a tool as extensive as necessary.
We have been developing PokerDebugger for several month. The free Community Edition (Beta) is now available for download.
We appreciate every user’s feedback.

What PokerDebugger is offering today:
- Heads Up Display (HUD) of the most important statistical data which is visualized directly over the actual poker table
- Import of cash games and tournaments (STT, MTT, Steps) to your local database (no configuration needed)
- Simple configuration of the HUD
- Reports, for example: position analysis
- Replayer for played hands
- Supported poker rooms: PokerStars (additional poker rooms will be added during the beta test)

This is a Java program?
If so, why not for Linux?

Our software is written in java, but there is a plattform specific part (JNI) for any Operating System.

But You are right. The software works under Linux. I am developing under Ubuntu 10.4.
So far we had not the time to provide an easy to install package for Linux.

Important advice!

Pokerstars has recently changed the format of its hand histories. This caused problems with import and HUD in PokerDebugger.
These problems are already resolved in the current version (0.1.20), which can be downloaded from now on.

Carbon for cash game, that should be no problem. Are you interested?
Packaging as jar is no problem.

Wait a sec, just remembered I can't get the Carbon client to run under wine.
It starts, but the image is a mirror image and then it crashes....
Ubuntu 10.10. I'm only able to play Carbon in my XP VM.....

We have implemented HUD ranges for several stats.
New version (0.1.21) can be downloaded from now on.

I just tested this only 4 tabling some 45 mans, and the size/colour of the HUD makes it virtually unusable.

It doesn't display player names where they are actually positioned, (can't find Hero stats), and it completely blocks chip counts.

Playing on a 22inch monitor, Win7 btw

Color is configurable via Preferences->HUD

We are investigating this issue for MTT's.
Have you set a Preferred Seat in Pokerstars? (If you have set a Preferred Seat in Pokerstars you have to do the same in our application by right-clicking the BUG in the right upper corner of the table)
Any problems with CashGames and STT's?

We have investigated this issue. If i am playing a MTT without a preferred seat set in Pokerstars and i am moved to another table the HUD changes incorrectly his position. This problem exists ONLY for MTT's.

SOLUTION:
For MTT's the HUD requires you:
1. To set your preferred seat for all table sizes (you are interested playing) in PokerStars
2. To set your (corresponding) preferred seat in PokerDebugger by right-clicking the "Bug" in the right upper corner of the table, while playing.

You have to do that only once for each table size!

This is actually a bug in their software, according to the stars tech team.

Right-clicking the "Bug" does the same thing as left-clicking it (or even middle-clicking it), which is taking me to the hud preferences menu, so I can't select my preferred seat

we didn't test PokerDebugger under Windows7 so far. We will do that today with focus on your problem. I suppose the issue is related to Windows7.
Anyway, we will soon deploy a new version of PokerDebugger which will provide a setup of "preferred seat" accessible from a general preferences panel.

i'm playing with resized small ps tables and your huds are quite big.

Tomorrow we will release a new version with the possibility to change the font size of HUD-Elements. With a smaller font size the size of the HUD will decrease.

The font size configuration is a nice feature and important for me.
btw, a little bug: sometimes the "Refresh Live HUDs" button disappears, after you changed the location of a hud field.
