There have been many 1000's of people using it without any reported problems for 5+ years now (for HEM and BetPot before that).

I can only read that thread using Google translator, but as far as I can it's just one second hand report from a player given the info from a lowish level Party support worker?

If Party really do want to prohibit FPHG then they are welcome to contact me via PM or email and I'll lock the thread up and/or pull the FPHG download page, but until we see some kind of reputable report I don't think there is anything really to worry about yet

It's the bolded part I'm worried about.
Could you create a new version of the sw - making it easily distinguishable from the earlier versions - which would only create the stuff needed for betpot, none of the mining stuff? That should make everyone sleep better at night.

Yeah, it's possible but the problem is then that somebody could adapt it to do other stuff.

I've also not got a right lot of time at the moment - hardly even playing poker myself for the last few months and now have 4 kittens that take a lot of my time to keep occupied.

She absolutely hated them all for about the first 6-8 weeks, but just recently she has decided they are actually OK and is now friends with them!

Xenitron being a "Black Member" and it being from VIP support gives it a bit more credence, but it's still not 100% confirmed.

I pulled the page and thread for 3 reasons though:

* I don't want people to get into trouble for using something if it is now clearly banned (as opposed to being a "grey area").
* I don't want other software such as PartyEZcash or Holdem Manager to get their users into trouble (no idea why PartyEZcash was listed today?).
* I simply don't have the time to work on it any more and/or make the required changes needed (it may be possible to keep the "real-time" function whilst removing the hand-grabbing part to keep Party happy).
