Edit with notepad the configuration file freephg.ini which is inside the folder where you installed FreePHG.

Set the following variables:

OBSERVED_ONLY = 1
OUTPUT_LIVE = 0

Save, close, run the program.

Do you have a folder called "live" in the handhistories folder of freephg?

You can attach here (or upload anywhere) a hhf file to see if there is something wrong with it.

No, there is a HandHistories file...nothing called live.

If I try to open a hand that is in there, I get a message "CAn't open this file because it is a .hhf file. Don't know how to get it so I can look at it or send it here. Going to look on net for the .hhf extention.

It is a text file, you can open it with Notepad/Word/OOWriter/Wordpad

Ok, I got it with notepad. If I'm understanding you right, you want me to post some hh's? Do I just pick a few? I have no idea which ones HEM would be saying are incomplete.

Upload one hhf file with some mined hands here:

http://www.1fichier.com/en

And cut&paste the link here. I will try to import it using my HoldemManager.

uninstall, restart, reinstall, open the FreePHG config file in notepad, and make it look as below (just copy and paste/replace if you like), save, then it should work without incomplete hands again. it did for me

Code:
# NOTE: Changes to this file will require a restart of FreePHG for the settings to be updated.
# NOTE: Please use a single space character on each side of the '=' sign (eg: "OPTION = X").

# This is the folder where grabbed hand histories will be saved to.
OUTPUT_PATH = .\HandHistories

# This is the file extension used for the saved hand histories.
HH_EXTENSION = hhf

# Set this flag to only output hands the player is not involved in.
OBSERVED_ONLY = 1

# Set this to add the "(6 max)" tag to the saved hand histories.
ADD_6MAX_TAG = 1

# Set this to output data-mined hand histories suitable for importing into a tracker.
OUTPUT_HH = 1

# Set this to output hand data in real-time and also create the ".live" files.
OUTPUT_LIVE = 1

# Set this to enable "Active Mode" (*ONLY* use this if the Party client crashes without it).
USE_ACTIVE_MODE = 0

# (Active Mode ONLY) The delay (in ms) between each scan of memory (used to control CPU use).
ACTIVE_DELAY = 1000

# (Active Mode ONLY) The priority of the memory scanning thread (-2=low, -1=below_normal, 0=normal, etc).
ACTIVE_PRIORITY = -1

No, that made it worse. Went back to the changing the two things to the ones and zero's. Still get incomplete but not as many.

So, you are telling me that we are wasting our time just because you got 4 incomplete hands out of 900?

I cant believe it, are you kidding me? I hope at least it is funny for you...

Man you need to take some valium! Seriously.

No, I wan't kidding and no I didn't get just 4 incomplete hands out of 900. Maybe that file.

I was always getting, 27 incomplete, 56 incomplete, 3 incomplete 91 incomplete, etc etc. It was all over the board. That's why I was and am looking for help.

I don't think any of this is funny.

I want to thank you for trying to help me, but you need to come off your high horse. Not everyone is as great as you think you are.

Thanks again.

It was, before I got the post about changing the two things, ???? one to 1 and one to 0. Then it got better but still gave incomplete hands, which I didn't think was normal. I'm thinking shouldn't they all be complete? Appernantly not.
07-25-2011 , 05:53 PM
when you first open a table mid-hand during datamining, that hand = incomplete of course.

yeah it's common knowledge that ~1% of hands are incomplete/import error as standard

Definitevely, I regret of having tried to help you.

With those kind of statements I reaffirm that I've lost my time helping someone I honestly thing it is not worth of it.

I now will take my high horse and leave you with your all your hard troubles.

Im beginnig to wish you hadn't tried to help me as well.

The help was great, but the condosending comments were a little much. Again, wasn't born with a computer tied to my ass, therefore there are things I do not know.

I do know...that when my computer crashs, I have something else to go to as it's not the only thing I know.

Have a good life, it gets better after 20.

Hi,

Just realised this exists

The keep alive script works fine on my XP computer but not on Windows 7

Ive edited it to reflect the window change that Corp mentioned in #1129

I still get the disconnect pop up after 10mins and i open Party and freephg as administrator

Here is the script im running: (Where xxxx is my login name obviously)

#NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases.
SendMode Input ; Recommended for new scripts due to its superior speed and reliability.
SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir% ; Ensures a consistent starting directory.

loop
{
WinMinimize, PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx
WinActivate, PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx
MouseClick, left, 1, 1
Sleep, 60000
}

Heres what it looks like after the disconnect popup:

Script lines most recently executed (oldest first). Press [F5] to refresh. The seconds elapsed between a line and the one after it is in parentheses to the right (if not 0). The bottommost line's elapsed time is the number of seconds since it executed.

002: SendMode,Input
003: SetWorkingDir,%A_ScriptDir%
005: Loop
007: WinMinimize,PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx (0.11)
008: WinActivate,PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx (0.13)
009: MouseClick,left,1,1
010: Sleep,60000 (60.01)
011: }
007: WinMinimize,PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx (0.11)
008: WinActivate,PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx (0.13)
009: MouseClick,left,1,1
010: Sleep,60000 (22.04)

Press [F5] to refresh.

Also when i try to edit ini file it says access denied when trying to save it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't know much about scripts so can't really say what's wrong with yours, but I managed to make one myself that works using autoscriptwriter that comes with autohotkey when you install it (open it under start menu -> programs, you just hit record and do something on screen and it writes a script of your actions for you). It's just:

Loop
{
WinWait, PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx ,
IfWinNotActive, PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx , , WinActivate, PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx ,
WinWaitActive, PartyPoker.com: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxxx ,
MouseClick, left, 211, 48
Sleep, 595000
}

Try that. I'm not sure mouseclick 1,1 in your script is enough to stop it disconnecting. Mine hits the 'balance' word, and it stays connected
07-25-2011 , 10:32 PM
actually i have it click 3 times with a split second delay, just to make sure it registers

Code:
Loop
{
WinWait, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
IfWinNotActive, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx , , WinActivate, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
WinWaitActive, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
MouseClick, left,  211,  48
Sleep, 595000
WinWait, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
IfWinNotActive, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx , , WinActivate, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
WinWaitActive, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
MouseClick, left,  211,  48
Sleep, 100
WinWait, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
IfWinNotActive, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx , , WinActivate, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
WinWaitActive, WPT Poker: Poker Lobby - Good luck xxx ,
MouseClick, left,  211,  48
Sleep, 100
}

Thanks ill try both of those. Silly question but are you using two commars with a space between such as "Good luck xxxx , , WinActivate" instead of "Good luck xxxx, WinActivate" Thanks

Your problem it is not related to the script itself, that looks fine, but of administration rights under Windows 7.

You have to do two things:

1.- To edit the ahk file you have to go to the start menu, select Notepad, right-click on it and chose "Run as administrator" and click yes/ok when prompted. Then you have full rights to write in the folder where PartyKeepAlive.ahk is located. Open the file, edit it and then save whatever you want to change. This time, it will allow you to save the file.

2.- To get the script working you have to (again) give admin right to the script. To do this go to the folder where you installed AutoHotKey (probably c:\program files\autohotkey) then select the file "AutoHotkey.exe" right-click and select properties. In the lower part of the screen youll see something like "Run this program as administrator" (i am not sure of the exact message, I dont have W7 on this machine, but it will be pretty close), check it and close.

Now, everytime you run the script youll be prompted with a window to allow the program to execute with admin rights. Click on yes/ok, and thats all.

In fact, my PartyKeepAlive.ahk file looks like (I do play at azartiapoker, not partypoker, thats why the window name its been changed):
