There must be some other unluckily coincidence active mode broke when you replaced the DLL, as the DLL is only used for passive mode and isn't required at all for active mode to work.

Anyway, ignore the test DLL for now as it's no longer needed and one common problem (which stops passive mode from working) is to have different FreePHG.exe and FreePHG.dll versions (I'm taking the link down now to avoid any further confusion with it...).

Juk

EDIT: If it worked before on your 64bit OS then there is no reason for anything to have changed and it should work now... The fact that the EXE has changed though may mean you have to do something else (like set antivir settings, admin settings, etc) to make it work again.

I know you probably didnt expect/plan for them to work together but they are so shouldnt that ne on your solutions list?

Ive played a lot in the last few days with no problems with this combo

3.06 is working fine for me in passive mode (winXP).

Hi Juk,

I've switched to FreePHG only after the latest PP update. Basically, it works fine for me (v3.06 in passive mode on a Win2k mining-only VM, that is), but I do get quite a few crippled hand histories. Now, I can't tell if that has changed with the new version of FPHG and/or the PP update because I used a different tool for mining before. But whereas I mostly got zero import errors before, there are now like a few dozen when mining 15-20 tables for an hour.

Examples for malformed hand histories:

Even more intertwined lines from different hands.

What could this be due to? Don't get me wrong, the number of errors isn't massive at all and I could live with it if you say it's down to using Win2k or something. Might eventually upgrade that VM anyway. Just giving you a heads-up that something -might- be wrong.

Ok I have no idea whats going on any more. Both active and passive mode seem to be importing hands into HM (my #hands on players is increasing as I observe tables) however HM is reporting tons of "Incomplete Hands" which I have never seen before. I am just confused now.
08-10-2010 , 06:00 PM
I'm confused aswell. FPHG is creating the table histories fine in the Handhistories folder but Betpot keeps giving the message Table "X" hand history not found. I have no idea what the problem could be...
It has worked for me for quite a while though but since I tried 3.06 it stopped working.

Any advice would be great

Ok, well that's kind of what happens to me (see above). Maybe not just limited to crappy old Win2k then. It's not tons of import errors though for me, just quite a few.
08-10-2010 , 07:17 PM
Oops sorry, nvm my last post. Getting too tired slowly to properly read, I'm afraid. I don't get any "incomplete hand" messages, it's only import errors due to malformed hand histories, like the ones I posted.
08-11-2010 , 11:13 AM
Not sure if anybody is as stupid as I am, but I was running a very old version of FPHG and when i upgraded i didn't notice that the handhistory folder changed from C:\FreePHGHistories to C:\ProgramFiles\FreePHG\Handhistories. Maybe that will help somebody.
08-11-2010 , 05:00 PM
Hi to everybody,
i've always read your posts but i've never posted anything cause my bad english.
Now i try to ask for your help, even if maybe you cannot do so much for me.
I am in Italy and i must use (italian law) partypoker.it
I tried to use the software with the partypoker.com and everything works fine, but when i use the italian version, i am not able to see anything in the historyhand folder.
I renamed the executable in partygaming.exe, but still nothing. I installed partypoker.it in english language too, and nothing happened.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance

Getting alot of these errors been thrown by PT3

2010/08/12 18:42:54: PartyGaming: Unable to import hand (#9524143787). Reason: Unable to execute query: COPY holdem_hand_histories FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: literal newline found in data HINT: Use "\n" to represent newline. CONTEXT: COPY holdem_hand_histories, line 2: "" )

Might be a problem with the handgrabber.

Using latest version of PT and freephg.

I am on vista

The occasionally corrupt hands aren't something new (see earlier in the thread for an explanation).

Other than writing a full/bulletproof parser for every game Party spreads then there isn't much that can be done about them... Doing this would be 10-20x times more work than FPHG itself and even then it would still run into problems everytime Party made a slight tweak of their HH format (which historically they have done often in the past).

Hi!

I'm looking at your FreePHG. Great job! I'm trying to use it to get
some information about game status from table in real time.

When I started to analysing how many players play on some table I got
some issue. Here some example:

I edited the FreePHG.ini file so that the output path leeds to the hand history folder C:\Program Files (x86)\FreePHG\HandHistories but still the hand history folder is empty. I have the tables open and the FreePHG application running. I'm pretty crap with these things but i managed to get round the administrator settings which originally wasn't letting me edit the ini file. Now ive edited the ini file im still not getting any hand histories stored in the hand history folder. any help here would be absolutely awesome. I'm very excited by this grabber and hope I can get it configured.

It's prolly that you need to run Party+FPHG as admin and/or something to do with not having the permissions to write to that folder.

Perhaps somebody who uses Vista or Win7 can help (I still use XP so can't be of more help sorry)?

Hey.

Is there still issues with FreePHG making computers lag, if it is used while playing?

EDIT: last time I used it was about 2-3 years ago.

FPHG uses a different method of grabbing the hands now which is much less CPU intensive (I'm assuming the last time you used the old version which scans memory repeatedly).

The site is on again, but i can not get it working. I have installed it, run as administrator but the folders are still empty, when playing at FTP.
I want to use it together with HM and have also set the HUD options for it, but still not working.
When i use it in a shell with -v there is no output.

Anyone here got this working together with HM on FTP?
