It seems that the old "FPHG Version 2" thread has been archived (see: http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...46&an=0&page=0) so I'll have to use this one instead...
Changes in v2.11:
1. Have made it so that the first hand will be saved now. This seems to work OK, but need to watch out for corrupted first hands to be sure.
2. Have made it so that the ".ini" file is stored with the main application now, and have updated the format of the ".ini" file (have removed the "legacy" options which are not used by the new code).
3. The path where the hand histories are saved to can now be set from within the ".ini" file itself (ie: it's NOT hard-coded to save to "C:\FreePHG_HandHistories" anymore).
As always, the installer can be downloaded from the FPHG page:
http://www.jukofyork.com/freephg.htm
You should just be able to install the new version over the top of the old. Make sure you delete your old "C:\FreePHG_HandHistories\FPHG.ini" as it's not used anymore. The new way to set the options is through "FreePHG.ini" which will be installed to the same folder as FreePHG.exe is ("C:\Program Files\FreePHG" by default).
The code for saving the first hand seems to be working OK now, but please keep an eye out for any HH files where the first hand is corrupted.
I've set the default output path to "C:\FreePHG_HandHistories" so as not to break any other script (eg: BetPot) which relies on FPHG using this location, but so long as you know that it will be OK to save elsewhere (or are happy to modify your AHK scripts to use the new location) then just change this string to point to another folder (no more hex-editing TestDLL.dll lol!).
In the next version I plan to add back in an option to let FPHG write "whole hands" (rather than updating them bit by bit, like it does at the moment). I also plan to fix the problem where observed hands still have the hand history header written up to the point where it sees a "dealt to" line. Any other suggestions then please post here.
