Simple Nash

The program is designed to calculate the equilibrium range in the stage of Push-Fold. Recommended for stacks less than 15 blinds.

Features of current release:
  • ICM Nash calculations with mix strategies and without handranking restrictions.
  • Use 3-way precalculation situation with all result include ties.
  • Allowing manual overrides of ranges.

This is a Beta version, all suggestions and comments please write in this thread.

Looks interesting!

Does this have any advantages vs the holdemresources.net implementation and also how do your results compare with their's?

My results are a little bit different from the holdemresources.net resulst. But after the last update of its downloadable application the resultes are simular. My programm is slightly faster. So far the functionality is the same. And I also have many ideas how to make my programm better.

Is the basic idea in your program the same with holdemresources.net one? Or just updates of main algorithm made it slightly faster?
My opinion - It is really more comfortable than holdemresources when you want to analyze not only one fixed hand, but make it for 10-20 same hands that have a low difference from current.

Yes, I also use fictitious play calculation. But i do some optimization which improve perfomance of my application.

Nice work. I did some quick testing against my implementation and the equity calculation seems to match. As TeelXp mentioned, only in the latest downloadable version. The holdemresources web version still needs to be updated. (The error only affects one of the split results in 3w pots though, typical range equities in 3w pots are off by ~0.1%.)

In the few cases i tested, the Simple Nash ranges did include noticeably more -EV hands. It is indeed slightly faster, might be using less iterations and/or stronger simplifications/heuristics?

Took me a while to figure out that range changes do not immediately update the displayed EVs btw. Some sort of indication that the EVs are "dirty" would be cool.

Interesting and some strange for me - does it means that holdemresources.net doesn't use fictitious play? But... What 500 iterations are calculating by him?
Do you use any approximations?
TeelXp, write me to the skype (Vinni_Win) please. It's too interesting to glue the whole picture from player viewpoint and mathematical viewpoint.

You maybe misunderstood me. My programm and his programm both uses fictitious play. My programm calculate 500 iteration too. Application direct calculate without approximations.
Its hard to me talk in English on chat. I try to answer to your question in this thread or pm.

Do you can to talk Russian, German or French? My English is terrible and only Google translater helps me, will be very-very good to speak other language ))

I just realized that you probably start with some rough semi-random initialization, while my implementation starts with the linear ranges NE. I guess that explains why your implementation has slightly worse results after 500 iterations.

o_O
Different results after 500 iterations? I thought 20-30 iterations are enought. It just means I was wrong ))

New version Simple Nash 1.03.
Download: http://simplenash.ubrute.com/en.
Added features:
  1. ICM for Multitalbe SNG.
Now Simple Nash allow to calculate situation in MT SNG when leave two tables. For example, screenshooting you table and lobby:

Push "Add table and prize" and enter info from screenshot:

Push "Calculate" and recieve result which take in account players on second table:

Its may be work slow in situation with many players and prizes.

  2. Its often we know roughly range villains, but not exactly. Now Simple Nash allowed to set bounday of ranges. Use "Edit range" button for this feature.

  3. Some small changes in GUI.

Super Awesome!

Awesome stuff

If possible, please add 'total chips' sum of all stacks

Is this still available? Cuz i can download it

ability to copy hand from hem database and paste it into the program would be appriciated

Yes, in future versions of the program will be added to the ban start to open the client.

Hi!

This software is very nice.

Do you sell the source code? PM me if you are interested in it.
