Cool with omaha!

Just one question about syntaxes. I thought I knew how to use them but when I type

AhJh*c*c

vs

88**, 22**,[Ad*]** on 8d,2d,Jc then adding J8** to the second range actually strengthens the range from 65,4% to 66,5% which is very strange? If we were to have AJ** then we would prefer J8-two-pair since then we have A as outs, and if any of our other two random cards where 9 or more then we would also have additional outs too? I must do something wrong or it is buggy.

+1 Mega thanks for this! Best free poker analysis software out there!

Is there a comprehensive guide/list on all of equilab's features, particular additional capabilities outside of pokerstove?

I seem to be slowly stumbling upon them one by one.

Haven't searched the thread for this, but dabbling with the software (which is great btw) I can't find a way to do this..

Is it possible to put a single opponent on multiple SPECIFIC hands? ie I want to know my AdAs equity on a flop vs exactly KsKd and QsQd. I know this is a simple example that doesn't need the software to prove, but more specifically if a wet flop brings a combo-draw and I get raised by a certain opponent, I want to put him on 10-12 exact hands (on a QJxcc flop he's not re-raising a huge amount with any K10 other than K10cc, so just inputing K10s is not accurate enough), also, by just giving 8 specific hands to the 8 other players at the table, this % will not be correct bc they are holding each other's outs.

Thanks for the help!

There is an annoying issue that I run into all the time. When using equilab on an extended display on windows 7, then trying to just use the laptop screen another time will mess up the positioning of some windows. The main window is always accessible, but when opening the window to enter a range, this will be pushed so far to the side that it is unreachable, as if the laptop was still connected to a screen. The workaround is of course to plug the laptop to a screen, then drag the 2nd window to the main laptop display then unplug the laptop from the extended display. Fwiw i am using an hdmi cable to connect to my extended display.

Is there a way to filter for 2cardbackdoor flush draws on the range reduction tool?
Would also be great to be able to filter out Ace high one card backdoor flush draws.

It's far and few between when people will float the numerous KcTs (7s8sAd) ten high one card flush draws.
Thanks.

I downloaded and installed the program but the installer said that it needed to update several files that are being used by my anti-virus software. Why would it need to do this?

Does anyone have anything negative to say about Equilab? Particularly has anyone come across any virus/malware/spyware or computer shenanigans after downloading and using it? Thanks.

Is there any file in the equilab folder that I can copy to another computer so I don't have to create all the ranges all over again?

I searched quite extensively for this. Let me know if you find anything but I expect it isn't possible.

Try putting the ranges in to all 6positions then saving the file. It beats having to recreate them manually.

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I'm new to this program. Is there a way to show the complete equities of each specific hand in a range instead of the equity of the range as a whole? For example, if I want to see the equities of a range vs. a range on a J75 board, is there a way for it to list what the equity of AK, AKs, AQ, etc etc is, rather than just knowing the equity of my entire range in that spot?
