Hey Knef,

iPoker and Party Poker development will start this month. I have no firm plans for 888 at the moment.

I look forward to having you as a customer!

This paroduct was made for me. Would love to use it. When are you adding merge.

Is iPoker still accepting U.S. players? If so, is there a preferred skin to use? Which are the best choices? Also, if they are still accepting U.S. players, does anyone knnow how long it takes to receive a cashout? Also, are there are any signs they will stop U.S. players from playing?

I'm sure they do not. Also this is probably a wrong thread for this question.

We'll take a look at Merge after we implement iPoker, Party, and UniBet. I've already given Merge a preliminary look, and it looks like it will cause some issues with Bankroll Management support. Worst case though, you would be able to open a table outside of your bankroll management rules and play a few hands before getting booted from the table.

I'll keep everyone updated as we go along. Thanks for your interest, look forward to having you as a user!

I am fairly certain that iPoker does not accept US players. The only "known" network/site that accepts US players is Merge and then Bodog; I think Hero poker is accepting US, but I don't know anything about them. From taking a look at Carbon Poker on Merge the other day, I was actually impressed with their software (I did not test out multi-tabling though).

However, I believe Merge announced that they are temporarily restricting US players for a month so they can catch up on the back log of customer support from the rapid expansion post Black Friday.

Hope that helps,

I see you have been giving Merge a look, that is good. Do you think you will have Merge support sometime in 2011? Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the info. Since Black Friday, I've been playing on Merge (Players Only) and on Bodog. Any chance you'd consider adding support for Bodog?

(By the way, for anyone interested, the withdrawal policy at Bodog is much better and more efficient than at Merge. Bodog said it would take 5-10 days to receive my money, and I received it in 6 days. Merge said it will take 4-6 WEEKS. I'm waiting to see when and if my money from Merge will actually arrive, but in the current environment, I'm not very comfortable with a 4-6 week processing time.)

If Merge remains the #1 US site and they come out of this hiatus they have imposed on themselves, then I will (attempt to) add them. From my preliminary look at their software, they are not making it very easy on us; it looks very difficult to get the data we need.

I'm going to try to employ something like this:http://www.key-poker.com/take_shots.php#at, so with a little help from the community it will make supporting individual skins on each network much more efficient. We'll test this out with iPoker first, and then hopefully we can make it work for Merge.

Yea, it looks like Merge wasn't ready for this kind of expansion at this rate.

Bodog is currently #19 in traffic, so I most likely will not add them unless there is considerable voting for its support in the Tilt Breaker User Voice Forum.

Quick news update:
  • The App blocker should be available by the end of the month or the first week of July
  • We have a strategy in place to support every iPoker skin at once. If this works out it will make other network support very feasible.
  • I'll be making a more detailed post in a few days with the development plan for the next couple months and ideas for where I want to take the program

I would really like some feedback from you guys on my ideas for the future, so please be on the look out for that post. Should be in 2-3 days.

Thanks!

Hey Retro,

So the Stop Loss portion of this should be easy enough to add, however the hard part is going to be figuring out a practical solution for adding tournament support to the Bankroll Manager; i.e. blocking certain games and stakes. My first idea failed miserably, but I've come up with another.

I haven't fully fleshed out the implementation on this, but basically you would set your filters to show only the games you should be playing, and TB would keep you from changing them. I'm pretty sure this will work for Stars, but again FTP is always a blackbox of misery so I'm not sure that will work for them, Party looks difficult but possible, haven't checked others yet.

I'm shooting for August for tournament support. It is top 3 priority. I'll explain my other 2 priorities in the near future. Trust me though, I want to add tournament support.

Hi Jungleboy,

I'm shooting for a release in July. News on how iPoker development will work to follow shortly, there will probably be a small catch with iPoker support.

I have always loved the look of this programme but unfortunately for me it has never supported a site i was playing at at the time .

Will there be entraction support?

Keep up the good work your product looks very good and worth every penny.

Hey Reddev,

Thanks for the compliments, much appreciated!

iPoker will be the real test for how feasible network support is. Honestly though, if you guys don't mind using the program without TB automating the Sit Out Next Hand and Sit Out Next BB when you hit a Stop point then we can implement new sites (I think) pretty easily.

This is most likely how network support will go though:
  1. Support for all skins, but you will have to sit your self out before an Auto-Break hits
  2. Support for all skins, but in order to have TB automate SONH and SONBB you will have to use a custom skin that we will provide you.

Hopefully that will be an adequate solution for everyone. As far as Entraction support it is definitely possible, but there are a lot of other sites that will/would be added before it. With that said, it is entirely possible it will be added within 2011.

Hope this helps,

S!K

Development News

I know new development has been sluggish the past 2 months, but we're looking to make up for it in July! I've contracted another developer to work on new site expansion while my primary developer works on some exciting new features.

Tilt Breaker is going to start evolving into a way to manage your sessions so that you are putting in better volume under optimal playing conditions specific to you; which will hopefully maximize your winrate. I'll be discussing these features in more detail in July, as I don't want to open up my big mouth about specific aspects until I'm sure they are viable.

As a teaser though, here are my codenames for some of the concepts I hope I can turn into features:
  • Nemesis
  • Fish Hook
  • Optimus Primer
  • TruGrinder
  • Shoots and Ladders
  • Mantra

Looking forward to the future,

S!K

It sounds like you're making the product better and better. I'm excited about Nemesis, Fish Hook, Optimus Primer, TruGrinder, Shoots and Ladders, and Mantra -- and I don't even know what they are.

Do you know if there is a site that you will support that allows U.S. players and also makes payouts in a reasonable amount of time?

Thanks.

Hey Shurtle,

Outside of Merge and Bodog, the only other US friendly site I've heard of is HeroPoker and I don't know anything else about them.

Glad you are excited about the codename features, hopefully I can bring them to fruition!

This is another reason I suggest you support Bodog. As I mentioned before, Merge says Payouts will take 4-6 weeks. I'm still waiting for the Payout I requested several weeks ago. On the other hand, my most recent Bodog Payout came in 6 days. 4-6 weeks is unacceptable, especially in the current atmosphere because you don't know if you will ever receive the Payout until it actually comes.

Also, Merge prevents you from making new Deposits while a Payout is pending. So, if you take a large Payout and then lose your balance and want to make a deposit, you either have to cancel the large Payout or wait 4-6 weeks to play again. Bodog only prevents you from making deposits until the Payout goes to their third party transfer agent, which takes only a day or two.

I enjoy playing at Merge, but their Payout policy and time is unacceptable. I don't know if they're doing anything to change this, but when I speak to their support people, they just say that is the policy and that is how long it takes. They don't mention anything they are doing to fix or change this, even when asked directly.

Yesterday I bought a license and put the code that came on email. TLB accepted it on time about 9,000 days. I deleted the message with the code. Today, TLB asks to enter the code again. What should I do? TY and sorry for my english

Hi Shurtle,

I obv agree with you about the payout timeframes, but I have to follow the player pools. Right now Bodog is around 20th I believe. Again though, July is going to be a big month for us and will allow me to get a real handle on what we can and can't do support wise, so I'll have a better answer for you near the end of July.
