Are there any plans for this:

(1) Join all tables in the player filter

(2) Having a filter for Euro tables on Stars

1) I haven't decided wether or make this like an automated process, as I worry it might not be allowed on some sites. But it can currently be done manually very easily, if at the end of the scan you just select a player and hit CTRL + A, then right click > Open Tables, or you could just hit spacebar to open them all too

2) Yes I could add this and I may but the simplest thing and best method is to just use your lobby's filters to only show or exclude the EU tables

On my windows security (AVG) I set "Allow internet connection for safe use" on TableScan Turbo and it says that it cannot connect to internet and if I press "dont try to connect" then TST will close. Isnt this a bit suspect :S? It should open without checking to update :S?

I don't quite understand what you mean, but yes it has to check for updates when it first opens, or otherwise I would have no control over what version people are running, and when I release the program for sale everyone could just keep using the beta forever? You can very easily download a network monitor program and view any traffic coming from all your running programs, give it a try

Saw on the forum on your website you were planning on adding support for Bodog (as of early January). I'm just curious if you are still planning this sometime in the future or not. Thanks!

Any projected release date? Also when is this program going to be out of beta and be sold for $?

I've moved this into the commercial software sub-forum, as it's been decided that "open beta" and "free beta" implies that the software will eventually be commercial. If since making the thread this has changed then please PM one of us mods to have the title and OP changed to reflect it's new free status.

Wow, had no idea you could that... saves a ton of time.

Regarding Euro tables, there is no way to show them without showing shortstacker tables. I only play on Euro and 50bb tables.

Hi love your software... gives me a great deal of convenience and will definitely buy it when it is released.

However, I have an issue with the software. I use HEM and Pokerstars. Around 60-70% of the time the scanning of the tables doesn't work. It just stops part way through and I have to click scan again.

If I don't already have any tables open then it normally works fine everytime. It only messes up when I have tables open.,

Please help

another suggestion: i would love to have tag-based filters for the player-list.
for example: "IS NOT REGULAR", or "IS BUDDY".

Thanks I have tried unsuccessfully I guess to fix this bug in the last two versions, it seems to be really rare or at least i've only heard it from 2-3 ppl. If you can add me on AIM/MSN/ICQ/Skype I can send you a version to try to debug the problem

AIM: ZandryTST
MSN: zandry@tablescanturbo.com
ICQ: 571846001
Skype: ZandryTST

Also I'm curious if you mess with the PokerStars "Advanced Multi-table options" > "single click activation" and "Pop-up table whenever action is required", do either of those have any effect?

Right now i'm trying to add more sites and I'm more or less trying to go down the list at pokerscout.com. Merge network is incredibly small according to them (1-200 players) so I can't say I will be doing it anytime soon, I tried to download it, I haven't signup/login in yet, but it also looks like its made in flash so thats another problem

In the next ~2 weeks I am putting most of my efforts to adding more sites. Ongame is definitely the biggest one, but it is also the hardest, by far. So, I definitely want to add it, its actually the site i'd like to add most, but I have done some work (not a ton yet tbh) on an OCR for ongame and have kinda struggled, so I am not 100% sure that its really possible to write an accurate OCR for ongame's fonts. But I have some questions I would like to ask you and other ongame users:
1) The way ongame breaks player's usernames and adds a ... at the end, like "asdf123...", that presents an interesting problem, because TST can only scan what is seen in the lobby. I think, if you have stats on a player and their name is cut off by ...., that I could find their real name and get stats from the database, so maybe it wouldn't be a problem. But that method might not be 100% accurate and if you don't have stats on the player then there would be a lot of "asdf123..." in TableScan, so I guess my question is, is that something that people would be ok with?
2) The lack of waitlisting, how do you get around that? Are there 3rd party tools that will automatically join the table when a seat opens or you're just supposed to sit there and watch?
3) I havent followed ongame's development at all, but I have heard that people are generally pretty unhappy with their lobby and have been begging for improvements for a long time, so I am wondering are you aware if they promising any big updates anytime soon?

Thanks for the reply. I have added you to msn. I have both of those Advanced Multi-table options checked. I am unwilling to uncheck the "pop-up table" option as I am pretty certain that will affect my multitabling but I will try unchecking the other one.

Cheers

Hey, I'm getting a lot of false positives. Like it will show a certain fish sitting on 3 distinct tables, while they are in fact sitting on just 1. The amount of false positives off of one player can be up to four. I have not noticed any patterns, seems to happen randomly in regards to affected players, but it is happening pretty much every scan. This is on Party using HEM and Win7. Just PM me for whatever other information you might need if this is an unknown bug.

Maybe because of this there's one feature I would like to see:

Whenever the guy, i.e the nick you clicked to select 'add me to wait list', leaves the table, simply remove me from the wait list. Think this would be relatively easy to implement, just keep a list of players names : table names and whenever the player name isn't found upon the next scan leave the wait list.

edit: Thanks for an excellent program!

Could you make an option so the active table auto scan only changes the players list when I click on a table? Not when FTP changes the active table. Thanks.

Thanks, I am going to improve this a little for partypoker next version, but in the meantime you can just lower the configure > selection speed in TableScan to Fast or Medium and it should fix the problem, it is a connection issue with partypoker. I do like your suggestion a lot, I will see what I can do

Unfortunately I don't think there's any way to differentiate between a table you clicked and a table FTP brought to the front, it's just looking for the current table in focus

Don't change the table list until I next click the mouse, then select the active table?

I hate when I'm looking at a newly opened table to see if there are fish on it, and FTP steals focus, immediately changing the players box. This could also stop the player box from changing during a scan when I am trying to look at a table where my HUD hasn't show up yet. The auto scan active table is great, but changing the player box to a table I don't have open or that my HUD is already displayed on doesn't help me much.

I would prefer to have PokerStars minimized all the time, when using only TST and the PokerStars tables themselves.

When TST starts to scan the tables of the PokerStars lobby, it opens up PokerStars on my screen (when it is minimized).
If i minimize it again, TST gives the following error:

PokerStars Scan Aborted: Lobby was minimized!

Would it be possible in one of the next updates to have it working, even while the PokerStars client is minimized the whole time? Currently i still need to have the 2 Tablelists open on my screen ( TST and PokerStars ) while i'm actually only using the list of TST.
It would be great if i would not need to have PokerStars visible on my screen ( = so having PokerStars minimized all the time ) and only TST visible on my screen.

Thanks. Great software by the way.

Well if I wanted to do it the right way I think it's too complicated, i'd have to make some kind of low level mouse hook and register every click you make to see if you clicked on the table or not. But I have been thinking about this today and I think I have come up with some decent solutions:
For one, an option "do not select my active table during a scan" would be something I could easily add. Secondly, if you have the active table automation checked, I think there needs to be a quick way to turn it on/off from the main window GUI of tablescan without having to go to configure > advanced > automation. Like a menu item or a button, and a keyboard shortcut

Thanks, unfortunately this isn't possible
TST uses OCR (optical character recognition), or taking a screenshot of the list and programatically turning it into text to read the pokerstars lobby. So if it's minimized it can't take a screenshot of the lobby, or move the list up and down, so it wouldn't work. But, you can move the pokerstars lobby to where it off the screen and that should work. There is an option to do this automatically in the software, at Configure > Advanced > Performance > PokerStars > Move lobby off screen during scan. An improvement I can make is if you start the scan with the lobby minimized, it should re-minimize the lobby for you at the end of a scan
