I finally got a reply back from them, they say they cannot reproduce the finding of any malware detection, so if you had set up some kind of "allowance" on TST in kasperksy please remove that and see if it's still happening, if so please take a screenshot and email the exe to their support department. Anyways, having done some research, it seems to be a very common thing with kaspersky, do a search on "kaskpersky false positives" and you will find lots of articles about them saying windows explorer.exe is a virus, and their competitor's antivirus software is a virus, etc. I found a cool site to use if you have any doubts about a file, you upload the file and it will scan it in 40+ different antivirus softwares, including kaspersky: http://www.virustotal.com/
I uploaded TableScan.exe and the various dll files and of course not a single one identified it as being harmful in any way

Did the buddy list feature where you could select a player on a table and use some hotkey while clicking to add them to your buddy list get nixed off the idea list? Was wondering if this would be in any future updates or on the planned list?

Also is there anyway to add a feature to be able to manually search for people on your buddy list via the player search feature in FTP? Would like to see what all they are playing. Would be a nice feature and shouldn't be to crazy hard to implement. Just suggestions.

Yes, you can see there is still the shortcuts menu I started to work on which is grayed out in the advanced settings > shortcuts, I will be finishing that, and the search for player function I am working on for the next update

I tried this out last night. wasnt working at first...giving me NaN and 0 for all my player stats. I updated the cache and that seemed to get it working. Pretty imprissed with it so far.

Just tried to run it this morning and I'm getting no stats - NaN an 0 again. I only have the one databse on this computer and havent changed any of the settings. Going to try to update cache again...Any ideas whats going on?

PT3 with postgres 8.3 thanks

I don't think it's normal to have to update the cache every day, maybe if you purged some hands they cleared the cache or something? One thing you can do in TableScan is go to "Database > Manage Databases > Edit Database" and uncheck the option "Scan results from player cache only". This will slow down your scans a bit if you have a big database but it will get all the latest hands without you having to update the cache.

Awesome software! Could a table list stat of the following be implemented: number of players sitting at x (more/less) number of tables. I would find this useful to see how many multi-tabling players are at a particular table.

Also, I can't seem to get multiple sorting orders working. I've set the order I like in Advanced Settings to no avail.

So bizarre.

For the record, I didn't have any further problems and Kaspersky seemed to decide on its own that there was no longer a problem.

Still loving the software

Not sure if this is even possible, but it would a really neat feature if the software could make a pop-up window with table information whenever the poker client (FTP, PS) tells us that a seat is available at a table we were on the wait list for.

Thanks, yes I will be adding a "multitabler" stat to the tables list in the near future. Regarding the sort orders, please send me an email (support@tablescanturbo.com) with a screenshot of the columns you're sorting by and the problem in the software and I will check it out

I think it might be possible but maybe very hard, it'd have to use OCR to read the table name from the waitinglist dialog, probably not something I can do atm, its not a bad idea though. What you can do now is take the seat then scan "My open tables" and evaluate whether or not you want to stay

Most likely you have made some customization in the FTP lobby that is causing the error, like hiding the open table/join waitinglist buttons. In your FTP lobby, try going to "Customize > Reset to Default", restart TableScan and try to scan. If that doesn't work send me a message on AIM/MSN/ICQ and I will try to help figure it out on teamviewer

after "FTP lobby > Customize > Reset to Default" it is working fine, but seems an half-measures solution because i still need those lobby widget customizations...

Yes, sorry, I need to work on the FTP widget search a little more and fix this customization issue. You should be able to do some customization, it is probably one thing in particular that is causing the problem, possibly changing the order of the widgets. I would suggest try making the customizations you want one at a time then scanning to see if there's any problem, if you find any specific customization that's causing a problem then send me a PM/email and let me know what it is

Hi,
at least couldn't find by search that someone had commented on this: on iPoker the FL cash tables go 10/20, 20/40, 30/60 and up, so there's a filter missing. Any chance of getting this fixed?
Impressed by the scanning speed! One way to make even faster on iPoker would be if the SW used the left hand stakes selector to select the stakes, then jump the the actual tables to do the scanning, then back to left to select the next required stake... This would be great since iPoker has very bad filtering possibilies on the stakes.

EDIT: Oh, Party has 20/40 FL too, as well as 250/500.

Another oddity...When sorting tables by stakes, I get
50/100
50/100
5/10
5/10
30/60
30/60
... so they are sorted alphabetically, not by the numbers.

Ok, thanks, I will add those filters to the next version, also will fix the stake sorting aphabetically. In the meantime if you want to add the filter there is an easy workaround, create a filter in the software and choose any stake, lets say 2/4, save it and close TableScan. Then go manually edit "C:\Program Files\TableScan Turbo\config\filters.config", find the filter you just created, and where it says stake = "2/4" change it to 20/40. Save the file and open TableScan and the filter should work. For iPoker, I do not think I can do the feature you are requesting, it uses OCR to scan iPoker so navigating through the stakes list on the left could be very difficult to implement. But I can make it faster and I have been meaning to by having it page down through the list instead of just scrolling through(like it does on pokerstars)

Great, been waiting for this. Really great if you don't have a large database yet imo, as multitablers are usually better players. I hope you can add this soon. And I hope this will be a stat that we can use to make scoring rules for players, just like VPIP etc.

Another suggestion: It would be nice if you could make a setting like "only use stats with X players at the table". I would like TableScan to only use stats that were collected when play was 7-9 handed for instance.
I don't think this is the case at the moment as I think I have sometimes seen large discrepancies between TableScan and Holdem Manager for players that I have played a lot of hands with while heads up / shorthanded (I have set Holdem Manager to filter by number of players).
Just a global option to set something like "From: 7, To: 10 players" would be great.

I've just been working on the server side scanning stuff this week, I'm not done yet but I will probably do another update by next weekend or so, the things I want to add are search for player, multi-tabler stat, allowing decimal places in scoring, also I'm improving the table/player filters to support making more complicated filters like "(W AND X) OR (Y AND Z)"

Ok, I am going to do it for the next version, but one thing about it that will be a little odd as I said before is that since TableScan is updating the # of tables that a player is in during the scan, scoring/filtering by # of multi-tablers or # of tables will not be accurate until the scan is complete and it'll have to rescore all the tables/refresh the list at the end of a scan(if you are using those stats to score/filter). I will add the filtering database results by # of players next version as well
