Ok, so I’ve tested a little, and here is some more feedback:
What I feel needs work:
Databases
Unless I am mistaking the program can only read from one database at a time. To me multiple databases is a must have. I know HEM only supports one DB, but PT supports multiple.
Fish Definitions/Scoring
I find you fish list a bit simple. I’m using Spadeye at the time, and though I miss many features I feel the spadeye scoring is way ahead in this point.
One thing that Spadeye does not have, and the author has said he will not add, is dependant stats. I play full ring NL and a player that runs vpip 24% and pfr 5% is more valuable than a player that runs 24/18. What was suggested for Spadeye was possibility of a rule that says something like: "+2 if players vpip > 22 and pfr % is less that 60% of vpip".
But as your program does not use table scoring in the same sense I see that this is a challenge. I hope you will consider adding table scoring to replace or in addition to your fish finder. If you do I hope you familiarize with the weaknesses Spadeye scoring has and improve on that. I’d be happy to share my thoughts on such a feature. Feel free to PM.
Things I like:
Speed is very sexy. Well done. Also the program is working well while scanning. Spadeye is freezing up on me during scan.
I also like the layout. The player details page is very nice.
So these are my thoughts. As of right now I feel that there is some development left to do, but I guess that’s why they call it beta right
The reason I even cared sharing my thoughts is that I see the possibility of a great program.
