I think this is part of the new Stars update. I am having the same problem on my machine even without TableNinja running. Can you try closing TableNinja and see if the same thing occurs? On my machine I cannot register for any tournaments, even with TableNinja off so I have no idea whats going on.

If you wish to revert PokerStars to the old version you can do the following:

To revert PokerStars go to your stars install directory and open the "backup folder. By default this is in "C:\Program Files\Pokerstars\backup". Not everyone will have a backup directory, but if it exists you can revert to the previous version of Pokerstars until we release an update to TableNinja. Copy the files from the backup directory into the C:\Program Files\Pokerstars directory and then run the Pokerstars.exe directly from your PokerStars install directory (DO NOT USE YOUR DESKTOP SHORTCUT). This will allow you to temporarily run the old version of Stars.

This has been requested and is on our list I'm not sure how soon we'll get to it but I definitely recognize the value of the feature.

Hmm, so you hit start and it runs once and even if you wait for the timers to expire nothing more happens?

If you want to send me a PM we could do a teamviewer session and try and figure out whats going on. I think I would need to see that exact behavior to help you with this.

The SnG opener doesn't seem to be working for me... I can do it exactly like in the instructional video step for step as shown in this picture:



Then, if I click start... it doesn't enter the search text and just starts auto-regging for the wrong tourneys!!

Please help!

Pretty much the issue is that when I click TEST, it doesn't copy the text into the search bar like it does for the user on the video.

Are you 100% sure that you clicked save after the text was in the search box? I've never heard of a problem like this before so I'm not sure how it could happen.

If you could email me at support@alxsoftware.com with your TNConfigAutoLoad file and your TNLog file from your tableninja install directory I can load your exact configuration on my machine and try to identify the problem.

Xpadder and JoyToKey both work for me with 1.1.22.0, are you sure nothing else changed in your setup?

Since 1.1.19 my table ninja has several times lost all settings. When I open table ninja every setting has reverted to default values. Have to put all settings back including PS install directory theme etc.

Anyone else having this problem? Any way to fix this?

Is there a TNConfigAutoLoad file in your TableNinja install directory?

If you save your configuration from the file menu and then goFile -> Load Config and load it does it load correctly?

Did you put the filter string in the pokerstars filter box before you clicked save? Sensei doesn't copy the string from the name of the filter ... it copies what you had filtered when you save it ... the name is just for your own reference.

Hi, just got the prog and l-o-v-i-n-g it. Good job dear Sirs.
looked thru the thread kinda fast and didn't see any answers to this. When one sng table closes can I get ninja to register in the sng that is closest to start, i.e got most enrolled? Don't wanna wait till 2-3 got started before "my" new tourney starts.

Also, I know it hard to filter out spec tournaments. If I would like only 30+3 non turbos, that would be a nocantdo, right?

Hey Tarath, I have a mouse with 2 buttons on the side, I have them programmed to a couple keys on my keyboard but when I try to program those keys to table ninja its not working. I'm trying to use one of them for "fold" as the "tab" button but when I click the button on the mouse it doesnt work. Any ideas on how to fix?

We are still trying to isolate this problem. We had something similar happen to a few people back in march but we thought we had everything fixed.

Hopefully now that two people are having this problem we will be able to narrow down the cause and get a fix out as soon as possible.

it has done that 2 times with 19 version and once with 22 version so not frequently, but it's irritating to put everything back to what they used to be. but of course that one remembers once to save settings helps :P

There is no direct way to do what you want within TableNinja. However, TableNinja starts from the top of the list of tournaments in the lobby and works its way down so if you sort the lobby by enrolled so that the highest enrolled are at the top you can accomplish what you want quite effectively.

Make sure that you also turn "Sorting Optimization" off if you do this.

Like you said, a few tournament types cannot be filtered for. All the tournaments that appear in the lobby as

Hold'em NL $x + $y

technically have no name so you cannot type anything into the search box to find them. You have to just work with the checkboxes which in a few cases (eg the non turbo $30 + $3s) is not possible.


TableNinja should detect the 2 side mouse buttons (X1 and X2) so long as they are NOT programmed to anything. If they are programmed to something through a third party program, TableNinja can only detect them if that third party program is sending the keyboard input globally to windows. Sometimes third party programs send the input directly to the foreground window in which case TableNinja can never detect the message.

For your mouse side buttons can you try turning off the software you used to program them and see if TableNinja detects them then? They should appear as (XButton1) and (XButton2) when you assign them in TableNinja.

Its still not working, its like table ninja doesnt even recognize the buttons, should I uninstall the driver that I installed with the mouse?

As long as you have the driver available to reinstall its certainly worth a try.

Basically TableNinja is set up to take any of the standard buttons on a 5 button mouse except left click (Middle, Right, X1, X2), so if you can convince windows that its just a normal mouse things should work.

Hi Tarath,

Sometimes when I'm playing, I'll want to type in a bet amount manually. Is there a way to set up a hotkey that selects the bet amount box so I can avoid having to move my mouse over, highlight the default bet amount, and press delete?

Also, would it be possible to set up hotkeys to take notes on people? For example, if you push a button that corresponds to taking a note on Seat 4, TableNinja would double-click on that seat and turn off hotkeys so you can type in your note until a "end note" hotkey is pushed which reactivates the hotkeys.

Hey, i downloaded & used the program to delete tableninja and tried downloading and installing it again, but im getting the same error as before..

Is tableninja easy to install? I already had a hard time installing HEM and think this is probably much harder?
