Are you using an "Aero" theme in Vista?

Before you try changing operating systems, you might try setting the "Windows Vista(R) Theme" to "Other" on the setup tab (even if you are actually in an "Aero" theme.

When the "Windows Vista (R) Theme" is set to "Aero" TableNinja is monitoring all your tables all the time. When it is set to "Other" TableNinja only monitors tables that are in the foreground. Given that you are trying to play 50 tables, telling TableNinja to only pay attention to the foreground table rather than all 50 may be a major help.

So as a first step I would try using an "Aero" theme in vista but setting the Windows theme in TableNinja to other and seeing how that goes. If it does not help trying XP is definitely a reasonable option. Whether XP will help really depends on how powerful your current video card is.

Hope this helps,

Tarath

I have a NVIDIA GeForce9800 GT but no idea how good that is.
I also do not know what an aero theme is, I have the default that was there when I bought the computer.
I wondered what happens when I download an Aero Theme and set the Windows Vista(R) Theme to 'other' and I have 'Auto activate Timebank' and 'Never sit out' activated, would it still work with all tables or only the table in the foreground?

edit: if what I googled is correct then I am using an aero theme

hey tarath, still waiting on the 'auto-sitout when join table' option for cash games

wondering if it's still in the works, or has it been forgotten about long ago?

Google is correct, the default vista theme is aero The 9800 Geforce GT is a very solid video card, so my guess is that staying in Vista is a better choice than using XP, especially for 50 tabling.

If you set the Windows Vista (R) theme to "other" "Auto click timebank" and "Never Sit out" will both still work properly on all tables (we do some special things for these features so even when the theme is set to 'Other' they always work). However, you may find that the default bets happen not quite as quickly or that sometimes (particularly when you are facing an all-in) your hotkey might respond a bit more slowly.

I'd try setting the Windows Vista (R) theme to "other" at micro stakes and see how that goes.

Hope this helps,

Tarath

This has not been forgotten, it is on my list and in the top 10 right now but it will not make it into the next update most likely, sorry.

We definitely like the idea and plan to do it eventually, we just have soooo many feature requests that its hard to get to them all.

Hey, I searched the website FAQ and couldn't find an answer to this.

Can I use Table Ninja on multiple machines without paying for it twice? Such as my laptop and my desktop, if so how should I go about doing that?

Hi,

You can assign an all-in hotkey to use whenever your stack is small enough that you want to push or fold. There is no way to change the default bets based on your stack size so that any time you have less than N BBs they become push or fold.

You could try using the Sit-n-Go betting tab and setting the default bet very high for the highest levels of blinds.

Just like Fozzy said, all you need to do to get a second key is email support@alxsoftware.com once you have purchased. The first key will be sent to you automatically.

Thanks!

Honestly, we have not thought that far ahead yet.

I can say that we will almost certainly offer existing TableNinja users a discount on an FT version, we still haven't decided any of the details about pricing/licensing for a possible FT version.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, we just honestly don't know all the details of this yet and I don't want to speculate.

We're hoping to get it to our volunteer testers within the next few days. How long it takes after that depends so much on whether or not our testers find bugs that its very hard to estimate.

It shouldn't be too much longer. We got slowed down a lot by the Stars updates this month but we're back on track and making progress.

I really like this feature. I didn't like how it forced you to round to sb in previous versions as it gave away that you are using TN to other regs.

I thought of another feature to add to a future edition.

Auto fold, for example I was playing in one of the VIP freerolls today and I made the money but I didn't want to sit out every hand so I had to manually click fold until it was over.

Also I don't seem to be having any problems with the cash table pop ups anymore with the new test version. I also just found the auto handle wait list feature and that is A+

Any type of auto-folder is a violation of the Pokerstars Terms of Service so unfortunately you'll have to sit there and fold yourself or sitout and let yourself be blinded out.

Stars now has an auto-addon checkbox which only appears after your table has finished the last hand of the rebuy period. Can you add the option to automatically tick it?

I'm very glad to hear your buy-in problem is solved. Unfortunately as malloc said, anything that folds for you is a violation of Stars policy and is not something we can provide.

Thanks for the feedback and for the help testing.

I will definitely take a look at this and see what we can do. I'm not sure if it will be easy or not at this point.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm having issues with the street bettinig used it fine for a while, switched skin then it was oslightly overbetting each street, switched back to hypersimple and it's still the same. I have it set correctly on the default bets bit.

Hmm, I'm not sure what could cause a problem like this.

Can you email me your TableNinja log file and TNConfigAutoLoad file from your TableNinja install directory, as well as a screen shot of a table with an incorrect default bet amount?

I'll take a look and hopefully be able to help you out.

Thanks

I just responded. The modded cards are the problem because TableNinja looks at how many cards are on the board to detect what street it is.

The program is thinking it is preflop all the time because the cards in your deck are very short and TableNinja is not recognizing them.

Hello there,

I have one more request for the Table Ninja. When I am playing Heads Up SNGs after finishing the match there is the new option at Stars for rematch if both agree.
TN automaticaly closes that window within 1sec, and it is almost impossible to click the accept button this fast. Could you fix that, so that the rematch window doesn't get closed by TN?

Thanks,
Jaroz

Hey,

In the Opening/Closing -> tournaments tab there is a "Automatically close finished tournaments after X seconds" option. TableNinja will not close the rematch popup until X seconds have passed. If you increase the number of seconds you can give yourself plenty of time to accept rematches.

Hope this helps,

I am trying to use voice recognition to trigger table ninjas hot keys. It's a pretty simple process. What I would like to do though is implement a timer for each command of about 5 seconds during which the selected command would be shown in a box on the selected table, like " folding in 5 seconds", or "raising 300 in 3 seconds" with the number timing down during which I could use the disable all hot keys command to abort if I said it wrong. If this is something that wouldn't be worth your time I could use some tips as to how feasible it is to do it myself.

Thanks
