Would be very sick if you could manage that.
Any update on this?

Thanks tarath, I have just downloaded the latest update and entered my purchase code, everything seems to be fine. If/when you make any further updates to the program, will we get a popup at startup like Pokerstars, or will we need to manually download it from your site?

Edit: Also meant to ask, I was using starshotkeys before and using the R button to register for a tournament once I'd highlighted it in the lobby, is there any way that I can set this on TableNinja?

Thanks again

TableNinja will notify you at startup when an update is available. It won't automatically install the update for you like Stars does, but it will inform you when the update is available and give you a link to our downloads page.

Currently there is not a register for tournament hotkey, although this is definitely something we can add very easily in the near future.

Thanks,

Tarath

Hi Tarath

I am a long time tester of Tableninja I think I first got it in Jan this year.

I remember a post where you were talking about a discount in the purchase price of TN for long term testers.

Is this still the case? I see it was advertised for $25 but now its $35.

Thanks mate

Hi,

We raised the price to $35 after we ended the beta period. We announced this on our 2p2 thread and on our site to try and give everyone who helped us test TableNinja when it was brand new a chance to buy it for $25.

I see you posted on this thread several times many months ago and have been using TableNinja since the very beginning so I would be happy to give you $10 off Check your PMs.

Thanks!

Tarath

Hi,

Can you email me your TableNinja log file and TNConfigAutoLoad file (both are in your TableNinja install directory) as well as a screen shot of your tables with your HUD running. If you email that information to support@alxsoftware.com I will help you get everything configured.

Thanks

Tarath

Hey

Last feature I'm trying to get working is "Sit out next big blind all tables"

Ive given TN my Handhistory folder for Stars, which is "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\PokerStars\H andHistory\"

However, when I hit Ctrl+F12 (my bound key) I get an error: Error reading hand history.

When I check my HH folder, I can see my 12 or so tables I'm currently playing on...

Any idea what I'm wrong? Is PT3 interfering?

Does your Stars username have any special characters in it (. space / - , $ etc)?

Try checking the "Override user folder" option below the "Main Hand History folder" field in TableNinja and then click the ... button and select the folder

"C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\PokerStars\H andHistory\[YOUR STARS USERNAME]"

And see if that helps.

If this does not fix things it is possible that PT3 is blocking TN from reading the HH files and then moving the files to your processed HH folder (this is a very rare problem, we work really hard to integrate nicely with PT3 and HEM).

You can test the hand history reading in TN very easily by trying to use the "Save last hand history" hotkey on the General Tab. Try using that hotkey with and without PT3 running.

Hope this helps,

Tarath

Quick questions:
1.table layout, is that preference? what is best?
2.my hot keys like ctrl+c f v dont work, why? e.g ctrl + f finds player instead

I'd like a new feature that makes all of your tables resized to a size you like.

FT shortcuts already have this, it would be great if you add it.

Hey,

TableNinja will work with any table layout so long as you tell TableNinja how your tables are arranged by setting the Table Layout on the setup tab.

For example if you are stacking you must tell TableNinja you are stacking on the setup tab or the potbetting features will not work properly.

Basically there is no "best" table layout, you just need to make sure that you tell tableninja what table layout you are using so that it knows how to scrape the pot optimally.

Are you sure you are targetting a table when you are hitting cntrl+c,f,v (is there a red frame around a table). Also is the system try icon for TableNinja blue when you are hitting these hotkeys?

We haven't implemented these features yet because we feel the built in PokerStars table layout/resizing features are so powerful. We have had a few people who want to do things that cannot be done with the build in Stars features, but for most people i've discussed this with using the custom layouts in Stars does everything they need.

Have you tried using the custom table layouts? If so what features do you need that they do not have?

Let me know

Thanks

Tarath, the ctrl-c,v,f brings up an interesting question. Since you are using the windows hooks for hotkeys what is the situation if a user tries to use a hotkey that's already assigned (like ctrl-c or ctrl-v by windows or ctrl-f by stars)? Is it first come first served or what?

It depends. If the other program registers their hotkeys with windows TableNinja will recognize this when you try to assign the hotkey and you will receive a warning.

If the other program just watches for keyboard input and handles things manually then because TableNinja hotkeys ARE registered with windows, the message will go to tableninja first and the input to the other program will be blocked if hotkeys are turned on and you are targetting a table. If hotkeys are off or you are not targetting a table we just pass the message along and let windows handle it as normal.

Stars doesn't register anything and cntrl-c/cntrl-v are also unregistered.

Firstly I would like to say thanks tarath for making tableninja so easy to use - even a computer fish like me hasn't found it difficult to use.

Ive had a search and cant find the answers to this, so apologies if its been discussed already. When i get moved table in a 45man, i have the auto close single ok button checked, but that table still comes to the foreground, and gets in the way, is there any way to make it stay in the background?

similarly, when a new tournament loads up it comes to the front of the list and blocks tables that i have an action waiting on already. Again, is there a solution to this?

thanks

Hi,

I'm glad you like the program We put a lot of effort into making everything as simple to use as possible so its really encouraging for me to hear your feedback.

Unfortunately Stars brings tables to the foreground in these instances and we have not found a good way to override the Stars behavior (without also overriding Stars at the wrong times).

I would recommend setting the "Cycle to first in line" hotkey and the table control tab. Any time stars pops up a table you don't want it to like this you can just push the "Cycle to first in line" hotkey once and instantly jump back to the table you were at and continue playing. This is one of the most useful hotkeys in TableNinja and can really help with these situations.

Hope this helps,

Tarath

PS: Everyone please bear with me today if I am slow to respond, as I said I have having problems with my ISP and may not be able to connect to the internet at times, it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you

Is there any way to speed up table ninja? It seems to slow dowm my CPu when I'm 16+ tabling and I have a pretty decent CPU.

It slows down everything to a crawl for some reason, kind of like the way PT3 does and HEM doens't

I use FT short cuts and don't have an issue when 16 tabling on Full Tilt

Any suggestions?

You can try disabling frames on the Table Control tab and that should help. You can also try setting the process priority on TableNinja to high by opening the task manager, going to processes, right clicking on TableNinja, and going to set priority.

The other thing to check is open your TableNinja log file (in your TableNinja install directory) and if you see a lot of pot scraping errors, send me an email at support@alxsoftware.com. Everytime a pot-scraping error occurs TableNinja retries to scrape the pot so if you are getting alot of errors that can slow things down a lot.

Anyways, try the suggestions above and if that doesn't help send me an email at support@alxsoftware.com and I will help you out.

Thanks!

Tarath

Hey mate

I can't see/find the "Override user folder" anywhere.

EDIT:

Oh I see, I need to update to the latest version to get it. I'm still on 1.0.149.0. I'll upgrade tonight and see how it goes.

Do you know if the error where the antes are calculated into the pre-flop bet amount is going to be included in the next update. Also could you please include an option to disable tournament info auto refresh while the mouse is over the pokers notes box.I like using the tournament info auto refresh but it is impossible make notes on people using the poker stars software with it enabled.I cannot use poker tracker notes in a lot of instances while at the table. Some times I do not have enough hands played with someone so the poker tracker hud is not visible but I would still like to make a note on a person if they have done something like limp called me.Alot of the time my poker tracker hud is not visible and when it is not visible i cannot make notes on people using poker tracker and at this point I would usually use the poker stars software and I cannot do that with the auto tournament info refresh option enabled in table ninja. Thanks and sorry for the long post I wanted to make sure you understood my dilemma.
