We've looked into this a little bit and we did not find a good way to remove something from the Stars action list. I don't know exactly how Stars handles its action queue internally but generally we've found that trying to interrupt things that Stars is trying to do with the action queue does not work.
So unfortunately I don't think this is likely to happen any time soon.
Sorry to ask again, but I don't really get it why it is hard to do this. I am not a programmer, and TableNinja is awesome, so obviously you guys know what you are doing, so forgive me for being pigheaded here, probably i just don't know something, but as i see ninja can identify the next in line table with the green frame, so why couldn't it give the control to it?
As i imagine it would work something like follows:
- i hit the hotkey (let's say 'O'), when a table which i want off the action is active
- ninja stores it's ID or something and activates the table with the green frame (like if i clicked on it, because i want to act on that one first)
- every time the chosen table gets acivated again by stars (after i acted on the other table), ninja activates the next green framed window
- i eventually hit the 'O' again on the chosen window and things go back to normal
It even wouldn't be a problem for me if the waiting tables don't get activated in order. It would be better but it is not necessary for me.
So could it work like this?
Again, I don't have any knowledge in the field, so I will beleive you if you say it's not that simple and it can't be done, just wanted to be sure.
Thanks!
