We might be able to automatically send new tournaments or tournaments where you a sitting out to the bottom our your stack and then retarget the top table automatically, thats the only option I can think of that might fix your issue. I will have to brainstorm on it, as there are a number of complications that can arise when you do things like that.

Hope this helps,

You can maybe minimize the new tourney and the active table will be right behind it.

The table will pop up like always when it's your 1st decission to make in the new tourney.

I'll give it a try.

I am slightly concerned that 'sitting out' tables popping-up and hence, leading to a chain of such actions, might be tough to eliminate even with this hotkey. But, I'll try lesser number of tables to start with and see how it works out.

Thanks for the response.

I have purchased table ninja a couple of months ago. I just bought a new computer. I went to download table ninja. It downloaded and put a i con on my screen. I clicked on the table ninja icon. I get this message: table ninja has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. It did not notify me. What do i do. I was also wondering if i have to pay again to put it on a new computer, or does your purchase included having it on 2 computers.

I answered your email before I saw this post, so check you inbox and definitely shoot me a reply at support@alxsoftware.com if what I suggested doesn't work.

Thanks

Hi,

It would be very useful for me if TableNinja could take a table off from the actions list. I mean i play with stacked tables and when a table comes up with a playable hand i drag it to the side to see it and concenrate on it while i could click the folds on the other ones still in the stack. But i can't, cause this side table is the first in line and stars won't pop up the next one until i make an action.

Is it possible to solve this somehow? Like always pop up the second on the list if the chosen table is the first?

Thanks!
I like the software by the way, i just purchased it today.

i dunno if you're not using it cause you're "not a computer guy" or what your reason really..

but it is SUUPER easy...you will 100% be able to save yourself a few clicks here and there even if you only use a little bit of the program. you don't have to read any instructions..the program is self explanatory.

I was 6 tabling before ninja, now i'm up to 25 comfortably and have done 35 with a few misclick/mistakes as I played them. Great program. Stars is getting all this additional rake because of it. They should fund the development!

I can imagine the flood of new purchases if Tarath adds the auto-addon feature for MTT's... hint hint.

This is a great idea and is something I would love to support.

We've looked into this a little bit and we did not find a good way to remove something from the Stars action list. I don't know exactly how Stars handles its action queue internally but generally we've found that trying to interrupt things that Stars is trying to do with the action queue does not work.

So unfortunately I don't think this is likely to happen any time soon.

I'm glad you mentioned the add-on/rebuy feature again again. This had fallen off my radar a bit (my wishlist for features is so long its hard to keep track of everything at times) but I will keep in mind that MTT'ers need some love too

Thanks guys

Alright, am I completely ******ed or something? I set up "Sit out next BIG blind all tables" and every time I hit the key it gives me an error message that tells me to check my hand history settings. While I'm at it I may as well let you know that the hand history key won't work for me either. Table Ninja says it can't find hand history for Bores Easily on table blah blah. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,

Both these features require that you set your Hand History folder on the general tab in TableNinja.

Our FAQ explains how to figure out your HH folder and set it in TableNinja here: http://tableninja.com/faq.php#What%20Hand%20History%20File%20Path%20do%2 0I%20enter%20into%20TableNinja?

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any trouble.

Thanks!

Sorry to ask again, but I don't really get it why it is hard to do this. I am not a programmer, and TableNinja is awesome, so obviously you guys know what you are doing, so forgive me for being pigheaded here, probably i just don't know something, but as i see ninja can identify the next in line table with the green frame, so why couldn't it give the control to it?
As i imagine it would work something like follows:
- i hit the hotkey (let's say 'O'), when a table which i want off the action is active
- ninja stores it's ID or something and activates the table with the green frame (like if i clicked on it, because i want to act on that one first)
- every time the chosen table gets acivated again by stars (after i acted on the other table), ninja activates the next green framed window
- i eventually hit the 'O' again on the chosen window and things go back to normal

It even wouldn't be a problem for me if the waiting tables don't get activated in order. It would be better but it is not necessary for me.

So could it work like this?
Again, I don't have any knowledge in the field, so I will beleive you if you say it's not that simple and it can't be done, just wanted to be sure.

Thanks!

What your describing definitely would work in terms of making sure that TableNinja was always targetting the correct table and would be quite easy to program. The thing that makes it tricky is that the result would be that the table you wanted to remove from the action queue would flicker into the foreground every time you acted. For non aero-theme users having things flicker into the foreground can be a very difficult issue to handle because it will interfere with our scraping the screen. If the foreground window is not the window we expect it to be, even for a split second, it can cause a lot of problems (for example if your stacking we might scrape the potsize of the wrong table and then put a completely incorrect bet amount into the bet box on the target table). In this case we would in theory at least know when the table was flickering into the foreground (although if theres any lag things don't always happen when you think they do or should) so it might be managable.

I'm definitely not saying its impossible, it just might be a bit complex to make it work in a way that didn't force you to wait a while after targetting a new table for us to verify that we'd scraped the correct table.

I'll think about it some more,

Tarath

I would like to suggest a feature. I often find myself wanting to change seats in the middle of a game, but on pokerstars its hard to do this as there is no 'stand up' function. The only way to do it is to leave the table, find it again in the lobby, and sit back down. And by then sometimes the seat is taken plus it just takes a lot of focus when you're in the thick of things.

Any way to do this just by clicking on another open seat or by having a hotkey that simulates the 'stand up' function that other sites have?

This is a really cool idea that I had not thought of before. I'll have to brainstorm exactly how we'd make this work, I'm not sure it would be easy but it would be a really great feature if we could get it working.

Thanks for the feedback!

How about an option to automatically sit down ONLY when there is one seat available (not multiple)? I currently do not use the "auto take a seat" option because I like to choose my seat myself when there is more than one available.

Sorry for not adding this in the previous post but that's already setup how it should be according to the FAQ and the instructions in TableNinja and it was before I posted. That's the problem I'm having is that it somehow isn't reading the hand history files like it should even though according to the directions given, everything's setup correctly.

Sorry I misunderstood before.

Does your PokerStars name contain any unusual characters like /,". etc?

Stars always puts your HHs in the sub folder of your HH directory named after your user-name, but if your user-name contains special characters that can complicate things. We are working on a fix for this.

If your user-name does not contain any special characters then email me at support@alxsoftware.com with both your log file and your TNConfigAutoLoad file from your TableNinja install directory. I'll take a look and help you out.

Thanks

This is something I want to support and its on my wish list. It won't be in the upcoming update but hopefully we'll be able to get it into the update after that.

Not having auto-seating is a miserable way to play, so I definitely appreciate the need to implement what your suggesting so that everyone can use auto-seating.

I love the software just purchased it before the beta ran out. Two questions though.

1. If I play on two computers do I have to purchase TN twice?

2. Any word on an autoregister for sngs? Like if I want to play 15 tables continuous it will reg me for 15 and just keep it going?

Thanks

Hi,

Glad you like the program

You can use TableNinja on two computers but you will need a second code. Your purchase entitles you to up to two purchase codes, so you just need to email me at support@alxsoftware.com and request a second code.

An autoregister for SnGs will be in the next update

Thanks!

The TableNinja beta is officially over! I want to thank everyone who helped beta test our program. All the great feedback we've received is a huge part of what has made TableNinja successful and we really appreciate all your help.

It's been a hectic week for us as we've been getting everything ready for the beta to end, but we've still managed to put in a lot of hard work towards the next major update. We're really excited about the next update and we're going to do everything we can to get it out to you guys within the next week or two.

Thanks again,

Tarath
