This is definitely possible and I know how frustrating it is that Stars has this bug. I've added it to my list although it will be a fair amount of work to implement.

  • Option for Pot Betting defaults to round to nearest BB. <--- Really need that imo, without it you sometimes can't get the number you want unless you change your increments to be small blinds, which is annoying.
We can probably add an option to invert the scroll wheel. Big blind rounding is also on the to-do list.

We do have a plan to add this type of feature although it is a somewhat major undertaking and may take some time.

Thanks for all the feedback guys,

Just found this program today and wow love it.

I play heads up on Stars and other sites. All HU tables on Stars are "fast" which means the blind is auto posted for you. So, us heads up players have a choice, auto post against everybody or click "sit out next blind." I choose to sit out next blind b/c I don't want to play against ridiculously short stacks. When playing multiple tables across multiple sites sometimes I don't see somebody sit with me (there is no warning sound when somebody sits).

My feature request...is there any way you could use image recognition to highlight a table when a player sits? It would have to be able to recognize the seat image had changed even if my mouse is not over the table. Is this at all possible?

Are you running any kind of firewall or something like Zone-Alarm? Programs like this will consider the new version a changed program and will block it from connecting even if you had added the old version to your approved list.

Its also possible that you just got very unluck and tried to connect when our server was down or there was a connectivity issue, have you tried again at a different time?

This should be possible assuming that the tables are all visible (or your in Vista with an aero theme). I'll have to look into it, but I think it ought to be doable. Its definately I great idea, I've played some HU on stars as well and the whole thing is a hassle.

Thanks

Hmm, can you try disabling frames?

You can definitely leave your firewall on, the program only connects once at startup to check for updates, once its loaded it doesn't do anything with the internet whatsoever (unless you enter a purchase code).

I'm surprised that turning PT3 off wouldn't fix things though.

Anyways let me know if turning the frames off helps, and definitely let me know if it does not also.

You're the first person to report continuing lag problems with the new version so I definitely want to figure out whats going on.

Thanks

Can you email me your log file and config file (both are in your tableninja install directory) at support@alxsoftware.com? Hopefully I can figure out whats going on.

I think we worked this out over email, let me know if what I sent you doesn't work.

Uninstalling the program really only should delete your unlock code if you manually delete the folder with the files. Just running the installer or uninstaller shouldn't ever cause this to happen.

Thanks guys,

Tarath

I am trying PT3 today, and I keep seeing the pot betting errors. I have no problem if I disable HUD, so I am guessing it's because of the little PT3 HUD icon on the pot amount. Also, this used to work flawlessly with PT2 with PA HUD.

Obviously, this is not TN's problem, but does anyone know how to move the icon (hopefully an option somehwere in PT3)?

i think you just right click and drag and then right click and save the position. Or whatever mouse-click works for moving pt3 hud stat panels.

The last 2 days I started having trouble with TN causing significant lag on my cursor. I had to uninstall TN and remove TN folder under program files. reinstall TN input all settings and that fixes it. Reboot doesn't fix it. End process doesn't fix it.

This happened on the previous version and the newest version.

Any ideas?

PS. Just uninstall an reinstall didn't fix problem. It wasn't until I uninstalled REMOVED TN folder, than reinstall that fixed my problem.

Using Windows XP.

I'm having a new little problem now. I can't be positive that TableNinja is causing it, but I'm guessing it is because I've never had the problem before. Sometimes when I go to close a table I'm at, the confirmation box goes behind the table and gets stuck there, and I'm unable to click ok on it until action is required on that table. Since I'm usually trying to close a table before I hit the BB, this little bug is causing me to stay on tables for the BB when I don't want to. Any ideas?

I fixed it. I was using Snoop Free and the last few days Snoop Free was having problems at start up. I uninstalled the service and everything works fine. I originally had to allow TN with Snoop Free so I guess Snoop Free wasn't allowing TN to read the screen.

Tarath, for future consideration would you be able to add a feature to automatically addon on all rebuy tables? It's a feature many players have asked Stars to add but they refuse. I bet that feature alone would give you a spike in sales. It's very frustrating to miss your addon.

Thanks.

Hmm, I could see a way this might happen if you are in "Table Under Mouse" with "Bring to Foreground" checked, I will look into it.

In the mean time I recommend using the TableNinja close table hotkey from the "Opening/Closing" tab (which automatically closes the "are you sure you want to leave" pop-up for you).

If you want to be fancy you can also try using the "Sit out next BIG bind" hotkeys from the annoyances tab and let TableNinja handle sitting out when the blinds come for you.

I love ending my sessions with 2 keystrokes, the "Sit out next big blind all tables" and then the close all tables hot-key.

Glad you figured it out, and thanks for letting me know.

I'd have to look into this a bit both from a technical side and to check with Stars that they are ok with the feature but I really like the idea a lot.

Thanks

Im testing Tninja on 0,01/0,02 it works that classic check call and fold, but with Bet i have a problem, as i my bet is directly allin. If sometimes bet is 1 BB, then ctrl+up made next bet as 1$, so 100 BB. I have in that window checked that 1 up go up for 1 SB.

How to make only by one step betting.

Also my first best is 0,04 then next wheel scroll is 2$ , 3$ , 4$ and so on. I want 0,06 0,08 and so on.

It sounds like a regional settings issue. To get things working you need to go to the Windows Control Panel and open the Regional and Language Options and select English as the "Current Format"

Also, are you using version 1.0.139.0 or an older version?

Let me know if that helps,

Thanks

A couple of issues: Sometimes when I join a table, TableNinja buys me in for a different amount that I had set, like 60 BBs when I had wanted 20. Also, sometimes after I lose a hand, I somehow get sat out (Pokerstars doesn't automatically rebuy me in after I lost the last hand). I was wondering if this was a problem on TableNinja's side since before I used this program, I don't recall ever running into this problem. Both of these issues are rare occurrences but are still annoying. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, thanks!

PS. As for the program, I just have to say Tableninja is absolutely amazing. It saves me the hassle of opening all the different AHK scripts and makes everything just so much easier. Definitely the best purchase I've ever made for poker (on par with Holdem Manager ^^) I recommend everyone who hasn't trialed with it to definitely give it a shot!

Would be nice to have jump mouse to X,Y position. Right now, the mouse jumps a bit over the fold button, I want it to be much closer to reduce the mouse movement. The StarsUrgentTable ahk script can be edited to do this, but I hate AHK scripts.
