Hi thanks I sorted the number 1 problem...there was some kinda miss command I'd done.

One other thing is I can't assign buttons ctrl or shift to anything is there a way for this?

got a new weird little problem with the beta you sent me tarath, like when it goes to "OK" the ok thingies when im out of a tour or win it or whatever it sometimes bugs out and the window pops up and down and something, hard to explain, anyway it stops when I highlight the window and sucessfully clicks it

Great, glad you were able to work it out.

You can only use cntrl and shift as modifiers on other keys, so <cntrl>-A can be a hotkey or <cntrl><shift>-A can but just <cntrl> or just <shift> cannot. Unfortunately because we want to let people use them as modifiers we cannot let them be hot-keys individually.

So far I'm loving TableNinja.

The big killer for me at the moment is, clicking fold on a table where it's not my turn to act yet, doesn't check 'Fold' to autofold when it's my turn.

Is this supported or on the todo list?

I think I found another bug.

When you multi table two different stakes, and on the higher stakes you want to open raise, it still cycles mouse wheel up/down with the smaller BB even though it still set the correct pot open bet.

In my case it was 10NL and 25NL. 25NL Pots were being opened for 4BB+1BB each limper, but then if I wanted to up/down it (or even on any other street) it used 1BB from 10NL.

I've got a weird problem - Table ninja work fine concerning Advance Action Hotkey ( for example Right mouse button works fine for folding ..) and table control works fine too -
But I can't get "pot betting" working and also "scroll wheel" doesn't work either ( despite being cliked)

Is this a known problem ? do I have to check something to get my amount box to be fill ?

This is already supported if you are not using the "Table In Foreground" control method. Then you can use the AA Check/Fold hotkey both to check the AA checkbox when it is not your turn AND to click the buttons (check or fold) on your turn.

In the "Table in Foreground" method, hitting the advanced action check/fold hotkey does not check/fold on your turn to protect you from the case where the table in focus switches suddenly because it becomes your turn at an alternate table. Imagine you are trying to fold in advance at table A and the instant before you hit the hotkey table B popped to the foreground because it required action. If you are using the "Table in Foreground" method and the advanced action hotkey did work on your turn, when this happened instead of check/folding in advance at table A as you intended, you would actually fold at table B which could be disastrous.


Currently you can only set the mouse wheel to increment by a multiple of the small blind (in this case the small blind at NL25 is 10 cents, the same as the big blind from NL10). Are you sure thats not whats happening?

This is not a known problem. Is your HUD covering the box displaying the pot size? Are you seeing any error messages from your system tray?

I will probably need some more information to help you fix this. Can you email me your TableNinja log file and configuration file (both are located in your TableNinja install directory) at support@alxsoftware.com.

Your program is real nice-just started working with it few days ago-I'll be sure to buy it when I get paid.

I want to be able to x out a table, when leaving, with out having to click ok.

On annoyances tab, I checked auto close single ok button popups. Does this box not apply to the pop up when leaving table?

Thanks for trying the program and I'm glad you like it.

Right now there is no way to do what you want, but the next update has a close table hotkey and a close all tables hotkey that will automatically handle these pop-ups for you.

The auto close single ok button popups only handles popups that only have an ok button (if they have multiple buttons it does nothing).

Just a small thing for you if you wanna perfectionize your program.
The auto sit down thing ( which is bloody awesome ) has a problem with private tables which require a password. This is normal off course but the box where one should type in the password is being pushed away by Ninja and there is no way you can register other than to shut down ninja or disable the auto sit down register hotkey.
Not a big issue obv but maybe you want it fixed yourself.

Unfortunately as US citizens we are not allowed to open a moneybookers account. However, both google checkout and paypal will accept creditcards. The process is extremely easy, especially with google checkout.

Just click the google checkout "Buy now" button on the buy now page of our website, fill out your information and your all set. By using google checkout, your credit card information is never transmitted to us or through any third party except google so its extremely safe.

I tried this out and your are correct about the error. I actually think it might end up being fixed (somewhat by accident) by another bug we dealt with in the new update. We'll see

We've made a major update to TableNinja that adds a bunch of new features and also has a ton of bug fixes and performance improvements.

The lag problems some users have encountered should be drastically improved. For people who play without frames, we believe the any lag problems should be completely eliminated. For people who use frames, we've gotten feedback from a number of our testers that the lag problems are significantly improved, but that they still exist. We have a plan for how to fix this completely for people who use the frames, but we were not able to incorporate it into this update.

Just in case people using frames still encounter significant lag problems we will be keeping Version 1.0.93.0 on the website so that people can easily revert to the older version and continue to use TableNinja. However. we don't expect that anyone will need to revert, so if you do find that you need to revert PLEASE EMAIL ME at support@alxsoftware.com and tell me what problem you are having so that we can get it fixed asap.

In general. if you encounter any problems with the new version please let me know either by posting here or emailing me at support@alxsoftware.com. I will do my best to help resolve the issue.

A request for the "Automatically refresh the info tab for tournaments" feature:
Is it possible to have it an option to only have it refresh when the info tab is currently selected? I'm finding that the info tab is more useful at the beginning or middle of the tournament, but I would rather use the chat tab at the end. I would find this feature useful when I am using multiple tables at different stages of tournaments.

Thank you Tarath for making this great program. I never thought I would be able to run 16+ tables at once , but this makes it so easy.

I have been 16 tabling cash games for the last two days. I stack all my talbes on top of each other.

I have ran into one small problem though and forgive me if this has already been posted (Didn't want to read all 62+ pages of this thread). Sometimes when facing an all-in bet I'll hear the Beeping sound Pokerstars plays when its your turn to act, but when I hit my keybinding for (Cycle to "First in Line" Tabe) it will not bring the table up and I'll have to manually use my mouse and try to find which table I'm facing the all-in from. Is this a bug? Or just something in the settings I'm missing?

Other than this small issue I love your program, thanks again for taking the time to create it.

Hehe, we considered this option but ended up assuming everyone would want the info tab refreshed all the time. However, your reason for wanting the chat tab at the end of tournaments makes complete sense.

Unfortunately for people who are not using Windows Vista with an Aero theme there is nothing we can do to handle this issue. It is due to a limitation with the Windows operating system and unless you upgrade to Vista with the Aero theme it cannot be fixed.

In an Aero theme we can look at every window (even ones that are covered and in the background) and check if it is your turn or not. In windows XP or Vista Basic the Windows operating system doesn't even know what background windows look like. Because of this we cannot even try to look and see if it is your turn on windows that are in the background because even the operating system doesn't know what they look like.

When you are not facing an all-in we get around this by looking for the slider bar which is a registered object that we can check for even when it is covered rather than just an image. When you are facing an all-in there is just nothing we can do.

i have a problem with table ninja

i dloaded the table ninja beta

i use no images pokerstars theme

fold , call , check work fine

but every time i bet it just goes allin ....

i have it setup to bet 3*BB +1BB for every limper

... it doesnt start when i click open it crashes... i use windows xp sp2

I'm using Vista Ultimate but using Windows Basic as my color theme. Which option should i go to if i want to change to Aero Theme (did you meant the color theme)?

Has anyone else had trouble with setting a key for fold? I thought I fkd something up when I was setting it up but even with the defaults it still calls when I press the key assigned fold....wtf Ended up cold calling a 3bet with ATo OOP, flopping nfd, and stacked q's. Maybe it's not a huge problem but I'd like to have the option to fold once in a while.

Fwiw, I had lag problems w/ the last release & had to use the older version. I initially had lag problems w/ this version until setting the layout (stacked) & theme (other). Anyone still having lag, make sure you set these.

Table ninja works perfect now, really looking forward to the update that handles waiting lists.

We actually do not officially support the no-images theme so I would recommend using hypersimple, however this is may not be your problem. However, Definitely try and use hypersimple and see if the problem is fixed.

If it is not fixed when you change theme...

Are you running version 1.0.115.0 or version 1.0.139.0?


If you just updated to 1.0.139.0 its also possible that you need to double check your configuration and make sure that it actually still says 3BB + 1BB per limper.

If you did not update yet, it sounds like you either need to update to 1.0.139.0 or else change your regional settings in Windows. Go to the Control Panel and open the Regional and Language Options and select English as the "Current Format".

If none of this fixes the problem, please email me your configuration file and your log file (both are in your TableNinja install directory) at support@alxsoftware.com and I can help you out.

Can you try uninstalling and redownloading the program. The only time I've ever this happen it was due to a faulty download.

It is changing the color scheme partially, but it actually changes the entire way the Windows renders everything graphically.

To change it go to "Control Panel" then "Appereance and Personalization" then "Personalization" then "Theme". Next select "Windows Vista" or "Windows Aero" depending on what your options are from the "Theme" dropdown menu and click "OK".

Let me know if you have any trouble.

It sounds like maybe you are using an unsupported theme/background , or have your HUD blocking the buttons. Are you using anything other than the PokerStars hyper-simple or classic theme? Are you using a complex custom background? Is your HUD overlapping with the action buttons at all?

If you can send me your log file and your configuration file (both are locating in your TableNinja install directory) at support@alxsoftware.com I can almost certainly help you out.

In the mean time I would recommend using the "Click Buttons by location" hotkeys located in the bottom right of the "Action Hotkeys" section instead of the Bet/Call/Check/Fold hotkeys. These hotkeys will make TableNina simply click the location of the left/middle/right action buttons without reading what they are and should work fine for you until we can get your problem fixed
