Sorry but this is a lie, it was crashing for everyone including ppl like me who have Windows 7

I recommend not forcing everyone to upgrade when there is a new update and also have a way to downgrade to the previous version for times like yesterday at a minimum.

Here we ****ing go again!! You ****ers are worse than ****ing facebook with your fixing what ain't broken!! My computer's gone completely spastic since these updates coming up with all sorts of weird errors I've never seen before in my life. I had games running which the HUD didnt work on but wha'ts funnier is there were no lobbies to the games, I didnt even know what I was playing! Then when I close Stars and reopen it again I discover I've got 4 or 5 tables with like 300 chips left not knowing that I'd been sat out in them trhe entire time without stars or anything else telling me so!!!! ONCE AGAIN I lose about $300 this session because of a tn update, totalling what altogether must now be thousands!!!

I'm guessing that's a no ?

Those auto rebuy options should have been implemented a long time ago but obviously not if it's crashing the software or causing other issues.

We desperately need the option to disable the forced auto update.

I'd also appreciate if XP users can confirm that there are still problems today. Whether it's still crashing or if Shaniac's problems are affecting them too.

This, as requested a long time ago. There's no good reason why updates should be forced on people - it's bordering on arrogance for a developer to remove this choice from the end user, and it's especially dangerous in an application where the user relies on that app to not **** up or it will cost them money (potentially lots of it).

I honestly can't think of a single good reason why the way things currently are is preferable to providing a notification along with a download option when the app first loads and an update is available.

I'm unable to reproduce any problems with the update and have gotten very few reports of problems. All of them so far have been related to custom, unsupported themes. Have you tested with one of the default, supported themes?



If your using Windows 7 and suffered the issue its due to the way you have Windows setup. In the Windows Classic theme your still basically using XP. Overlapping tables in Win 7 classic runs the same risk of problems as overlapping tables in XP.



Are you using a custom or or otherwise unsupported theme? Try switching to one of the default, unmodded themes and see if the problem remains.

I have the same problem shaniac reported, am playing 2x rebuy satellite now and after about a second it unchecks both the double auto-rebuy and auto add-on options, turning off TN solves issue.

I'm not near my setup now, but can you tell me which themes are supported and which aren't? I *think* I am using the black theme, and it worked fine prior to this update.

Are there options related to the auto-addon/rebuy functionality in a drop-down menu on TN?

Tableninja stopped working with a last update.
Doing nothing just chilling in the taskbar.

The supported themes are Classic, No-Images, Black, and Hyper-Simple. The only options directly related to rebuy are the checkboxes on the Opening/Closing>Tournaments tab. You will still need to have the Setup tab correctly set though as with general operation.



It sounds like your copy has become corrupt somehow. Microsoft has a tool for cleaning up problem installations. Please visit:

Click one of the "Softpedia Mirror" links on the left and download the Windows Install Cleanup Utility. Make sure TableNinja is closed and use the utility to remove it. Then download and install a fresh copy of TableNinja from the website. Let me know if your still having trouble after.

please let us downgrade to old one, OR make it so we can manage rebuys/addons ourself.
I want to do it myself because some games (3x turbos) i want to single rebuy, whilst others I want to double rebuy.

I'm afraid we are only able to support one version at a time. The features are supposed to be controlled separately though. I'm still unable to reproduce this on any of the games I can find. I understand you working on it, but I really don't understand that it can be so hard to put the older version back on.

It is in some way a compliment to TableNinja that it is hard for me to work without it.

Please hurry up, we need you working properly ASAP!

Problems occured: Auto-rebuy/Addon option in some tables. I want to click this myself in an newer version of TableNinja cause as chilin_dude said I want to do some double rebuys and in some tourneys I don't.

Other problem is that the lobbies don't close automatically anymore.

It looks like there is a conflict with trying to manually control the rebuy and add-on check boxes. Controlling them from TableNinja>Opening/Closing>Tournaments works as expected. If your settings in TableNinja don't match the state at the table though the table state is overridden.

I've informed the developers. We will have an update that resolves the conflict as soon as possible. Sorry for the hassle.

How can i disable auto rebuy option in TN? I dont want TN do it, i want it to be as before so that i can manually rebuy. Despite under TableNinja>Opening/Closing>Tournaments these options are unchecked, TN rebuys automatically anyways.

I'm not sure I understand. With the current conflict even checking auto rebuy at the table won't allow you to rebuy if its disabled in TableNinja>Opening/Closing/Tournaments. TableNinja is checking to see if auto rebuy is enabled, if so it checks the box for you, if not it unchecks it. If you disable auto rebuy in TableNinja you shouldn't be able to rebuy at all unless you do it manually from the options menu.

anyone got a temporary solution for the rebuy problem? please hurry up with this! missed rebuys, shouldn't happen!

saddened that the "fix" for overlap doesnt address the problem i was having with overlapped tables

**** the ****ing **** out of aero, i wont use it, i dont want lag/performance issues at half the number of tables i play on classic theme.

i do want the product i paid for to work like it did for windows classic theme for over a year before the late august or early september tableninja update that effectively broke your product for me

please at least let me use a copy of the old version that worked fine, you are costing me money

SNG sensei won't register games for me since the update a few days ago.. anyone else having this problem?

Hotkey support didn't change with this update. Are you using a custom theme? Have you tested with one of the default themes?



Are the min/max buy-ins being reset? If so I'm afraid this is caused by inconsistent behavior in the Stars SnG filter. The only solution is to reset and save the filter again. Some users have reported needing multiple attempts to get a working filter saved. Once you have one though the problem shouldn't return.
