I don't mind that the bet sizing won't work. How do I make it so it doesn't check down. What do I need to unselect in TN for this to stop.
I agree with the posters above though. Kinda wrong to not make the software they bought not work anymore and you're not willing to fix it unless they ship another $35.

Anyways,is there something I need to uncheck to fix the checking down?

Today i had updated my TN to 1.2.70.0, then all pot betting not work..
3BB raise, 3bet ,pot bet ,etc ?
Anyone had same problem?

I hope the tone of my previous post didn't suggest that I felt mislead by the wording on your site when I initially purchased. I bought the version with 12 months of updates completely aware of what I was paying for. I also think that considering what I paid for the software, I have gotten a huge amount of value from it, and I would certainly never consider requesting a refund from you (that would just be ridic). However, as somebody who is not a programmer, I have always understood "updates" to be feature enhancements, and this is what I assumed the deal would be - I get access to those for 12 months and after that any new features are unavailable to me unless I choose to pay for the upgrade. I guess I didn't consider that a maintenance release which is necessary to ensure the continual working of the software would fall under this umbrella, as if that was the case then there is the implicit suggestion under the original sale agreement that after the 12 month expiration period it is very possible that the application may cease to work completely.

I'm kind of torn between respecting the fact that you work hard at this and therefore need to be paid for your troubles, and resenting that I may well have to drop more $ simply for the privilege of being able to continue to use the software, given that the only things I use TN for these days are SNG registering and auto bet sizing. I'm still not sure whether or not I'm going to upgrade, as finances are really tight right now, but if I decide against it then I'm going to really miss those two features. I don't suppose the patches you have had to make to ensure the software works with the Stars update are modular in that they could be applied to any previous build?

Please TN team release bug free version next time...

I bought table ninja literally the week it came out. As far as I remember the 1year or lifetime was not an option at that period in time, that came at a later date. Can someone confirm this?

Tarath,I understand u are probably making a big affort to solve all this issues,but this one should be the first ! Some of we told it in previous messages and u didn´t answer in your response.Also,as some poster said,the problem persists..

Clearly the biggest problem is that TN makes some action that we don´ t want to do(check,bet,fold...).This is what causes bigger $$ looses,and can´t be compared whith another features that help us to make the action quicker,or more comfortably.

I would probably use TN even if some of the features didnt work properly,but can´t risk to be checked down randomly,as it´s happenning now,because this can be really costly..

I´lll need to go to the previus TN and PS versions,which is a little annoying..

Please fix this ASAP !!

I thought this was the case too, I don't remember the option for 1 year updates when I purchased. I got the message i needed to ship more $ for updates I was less than impressed. I still love the software though, and will purchase the "upgraded license" as soon as i can.

I don't know if it's even appropriate to put this here, but with some work you can find AHK scripts and do everything TableNinja does with a little more complication on your end, admittedly.

I am a happy customer of TableNinja because they save me a ton of time doing other stuff myself. As big of a hassle as it is when TN needs updating, it's ten times worse when you have to screw with the AHK scripts yourself.

TN pretty much needs to charge periodically for their product, you should think of it as more of a subscription service if you want constant updates. TN works with another software program that updates frequently and is out of their control, and that makes it different than, say, a game that needs patching. And, for obvious reasons, the number of new customers TN can get dwindles exponentially with each passing month as there are fewer and fewer players who are able to get good enough to multitable as the poker environment gets tougher.

As people who pay periodically, what we can expect from the TN crew is that, when **** hits the fan, they get on the horse and work as hard as they possibly can to make TN work again, which is what I believe they are doing. If they accept a one-time payment and then just stop selling to new customers, they don't have any motivation besides personal pride to continue updating their product, and personal pride as motivation varies a lot from individual to individual.

It absolutely should be an option to run a previous version of TN, or continue running the previous version without updating. I use StarsModded from Tiltbuster and had no problem playing until the TN update came out, now I just don't feel like putting in a session because it's too much of a hassle to do all the things I have come to expect TN to do for me.

Table Ninja released a quick fix for whatever they could get done to help some issues until they are finished getting it back to a normal version. Some stuff fixed while we wait is better then nothing at all.

We should have another update out for you within an hour or two. I'm sorry for the slow responses here but it is basically impossible to develop and test an update while answering 50 emails and 2+2 posts at the same time.

I'm going to try and pick and choose the posts that seem to be common questions and answer them to save on time. If after the next update you're still having problems or you want us to answer a question that was ignored please let me know at that time.

I am 99.99% sure that the checking down is fixed in version 1.2.70.0. If you are running an older version disable "Automatically click I'm back" and that will fix the checking issue, but I STONGLY recommend not using an older version of TN with the current version of Stars.

I have worked through the issue with a few people who reported it. In all cases they were running an older version of Stars. If you close TN and then go to Help --> About PokerStars what is the client version.

If the client version is not 3.840 then you need to update Stars.

As far as I know the only other way this could happen is if you are using a custom mod that is using the old pot box locations rather than the updated locations.

This is a known issue that will be fixed in the next update in a few hours.

If you have updated both TN to 1.2.70.0 and Stars to client version 3.840 and this is still happening please PM me right away as I'll likely need to teamviewer with you to figure out the issue. I am unable to reproduce this with the latest version of TN/Stars and have confirmed with many users that the problem is fixed in 1.2.70.0 so I honestly don't know what to say. Are you using a custom mod of some kind or any other 3rd party tools?

Immediately when the Stars update came out this was our top priority. We remotely turned off the feature that was causing the problem in all configurations from new versions of TableNinja that support the configuration override until we released 1.2.70.0 which we believe should fix the problem for everyone. I recognize that this is should be our top priority, we are just 99.9% sure its already fixed and I've confirmed this with a lot of our users.

We have another update ready that we believe fixes all of the remaining compatibility issues that were caused by yesterdays Stars update. To our knowledge TableNinja Version 1.2.71.0 should be fully compatible with the latest version of Stars (client version 3.840). In an effort to get this version to you guys as quickly as possible I did all the testing for this update on my machine so please be sure to test things carefully at play money on your own machine before using it in your regular games.

We've had some confusion with users reporting problems because they did not update Stars and/or TN.

You must be using both TableNinja 1.2.71.0 and the newest version of Stars (client version 3.840) for TableNinja to be fully compatible with PokerStars.

If you use an old version of TN on the new version of Stars or the new version of TN on an old version of Stars things may not work properly. You can check your Stars client version by closing TableNInja and then going to Help --> About PokerStars in the main lobby.

If anyone finds any new issues with the update please let me know and we'll take care of them as soon as possible.

Pot betting still not work, had both TableNinja 1.2.71.0 and the newest version of Stars.

Are you using a custom Stars theme?

My guess is this is some kind of theme or display issue that we'll need to work through with you personally.

Can you email support@alxsoftware.com and attach your TNLog_2010-09-09 file and your TNConfigAutoLoad file from your TableNinja install directory as well as a screen shot of your table where it is your turn.

as it is mandatory to update TN everytime there is an update, how about an option to let TN do the whole process automatically. (clicking 'install updates'. ' 'next' 'next' etc )

I run version 1.2.44.0 so does this mean I nw have to go without my auto sit back in feature to stop this checking down bollox?
