Possible bug?
I've never heard of a problem like this before.
It sounds like the location didn't save properly (very small in the top left corner is the default location). Can you try setting the location again, hitting the save button, and seeing if it works.
Are you using any AHKs that do table layout type things?

Yeah I'm not sure why windows 7 got rid of that display. Both vista and XP have it and it is quite annoying that they removed it.

This definitely should be done automatically in both Vista and 7 if you have the latest version, which TableNinja version are you running?
Do you know what level you have UAC at on your windows 7 installation?

Maybe it's just me in how I set it up, but when TN registers me for the tournaments, it seems to always put me into NEW tournaments with no one in them yet, while others are almost all filled up. This leaves me to waiting around for a LONG time for my tournaments to fill up, while I see other tournies starting constantly.
Glad you like the program!
You're not the first person with this question so I decided to write up a quick post about it on the TableNinja forums so that the answer doesn't get buried in this thread.
Basically there is a very simple configuration change that you can make that will fix this
You can read detailed instructions here:

All of the sudden, a windows prompt comes up that says "Table Ninja has stopped running" or something to that effect. This is brutal...and I usually time out on about half the tables since the 'auto click time bank' is no longer active...
I can't really figure out what makes this happen... although, I noticed last night that it happened right around midnight... in fact, it might have been exactly midnight. The other time it did it was a late night session as well, and while I can't be sure that it was at Midnight that time... I'm wondering if the program stops working for the people using the free trial at the end of the day. When I reload it...it works just fine, and the prompt comes up that says, "you have XX days remaining in your free trial".... so that's what made me wonder if that's what was causing it.
Also... I just used the auto resize hotkey to make the table snap to the default spot on the screen, is there a way to make all tables do that...or does each individual table have to be active for that 'auto-snap' feature to work?
Thanks again for such awesome software.
You're very welcome for the trial and glad you like the program
TableNinja only checks the date at startup, while its running it doesn't do anything with the clock so I don't think the time of day could have anything to do with this.
What version of the program are you running? It sounds like maybe you are encountering a bug that we fixed in the latest version (version 1.1.25.0) that would cause some random crashes about 20-40 minutes into SnG sessions for a small percentage of users.
If you do not have the latest version try updating from our website (
http://tableninja.com/downloads.php) and see if that helps.

I think this is actually a bit of confusion. TableNinja does not arrange your tables for you, my guess is that Stars is tiling your first 4 tables for you. Stars has very effective built in table layout tools that I highly recommend using.
The "Table Layout" setting in TableNinja is just there to provide information to TableNinja about your setup so that it can optimize its performance.
If you turn on "Remember Table Positioning" in pokerstars and layout your tables as you like them then in the future they will always open into those same locations.
I hope this helps.
Thanks!
