no no it is exactly that... nice
But I got a problem, I saved a table position but when I click the hotkey the table shrinks on the top left on the screen (and I don't want it).
Possible bug?

Hi,

I have a problem after installing Table Ninja on Windows 7 (Final Release, Prof. Version).
After your recent post I changed the TableNinja.exe to Windows Vista SP2 Compability Mode. Now the mouse shortcuts seemed to be working at first, but after like 10min. all shortcuts stopped working and a TN restart couldn't fix the issue. Can you maybe look if there's still problems with TN and the new Windows 7?

Regards,
Jaroz007

Fixed the issue for now by selecting "Run TableNinja.exe as Administrator" (though I thought this is done automatically by now under Vista/7?)

I thought I'd try this one out and give it a spin, despite I already have other software to do similar things. I actually like this package so far, though I have one issue with the SnG opener. Maybe it's just me in how I set it up, but when TN registers me for the tournaments, it seems to always put me into NEW tournaments with no one in them yet, while others are almost all filled up. This leaves me to waiting around for a LONG time for my tournaments to fill up, while I see other tournies starting constantly.

Tarath... thanks again for hooking me up with the trial...

I've been playing 24 tables with ease again... but I've had an issue come up in my last couple sessions.

All of the sudden, a windows prompt comes up that says "Table Ninja has stopped running" or something to that effect. This is brutal...and I usually time out on about half the tables since the 'auto click time bank' is no longer active...

I can't really figure out what makes this happen... although, I noticed last night that it happened right around midnight... in fact, it might have been exactly midnight. The other time it did it was a late night session as well, and while I can't be sure that it was at Midnight that time... I'm wondering if the program stops working for the people using the free trial at the end of the day. When I reload it...it works just fine, and the prompt comes up that says, "you have XX days remaining in your free trial".... so that's what made me wonder if that's what was causing it.

Also... I just used the auto resize hotkey to make the table snap to the default spot on the screen, is there a way to make all tables do that...or does each individual table have to be active for that 'auto-snap' feature to work?

Thanks again for such awesome software.

Does this software support table alignment for two monitors? It seems like even I choose the nooverlap option in table layout, the first 4 tables are fine but the 5th still shows up at the same monitor.

I've never heard of a problem like this before.

It sounds like the location didn't save properly (very small in the top left corner is the default location). Can you try setting the location again, hitting the save button, and seeing if it works.

Are you using any AHKs that do table layout type things?

Yeah I'm not sure why windows 7 got rid of that display. Both vista and XP have it and it is quite annoying that they removed it.

This definitely should be done automatically in both Vista and 7 if you have the latest version, which TableNinja version are you running?

Do you know what level you have UAC at on your windows 7 installation?

Glad you like the program!

You're not the first person with this question so I decided to write up a quick post about it on the TableNinja forums so that the answer doesn't get buried in this thread.

Basically there is a very simple configuration change that you can make that will fix this

You can read detailed instructions here: http://tnforums.tableninja.com/showt...hp?p=74#post74

You're very welcome for the trial and glad you like the program

TableNinja only checks the date at startup, while its running it doesn't do anything with the clock so I don't think the time of day could have anything to do with this.

What version of the program are you running? It sounds like maybe you are encountering a bug that we fixed in the latest version (version 1.1.25.0) that would cause some random crashes about 20-40 minutes into SnG sessions for a small percentage of users.

If you do not have the latest version try updating from our website (http://tableninja.com/downloads.php) and see if that helps.

I think this is actually a bit of confusion. TableNinja does not arrange your tables for you, my guess is that Stars is tiling your first 4 tables for you. Stars has very effective built in table layout tools that I highly recommend using.

The "Table Layout" setting in TableNinja is just there to provide information to TableNinja about your setup so that it can optimize its performance.

If you turn on "Remember Table Positioning" in pokerstars and layout your tables as you like them then in the future they will always open into those same locations.

I hope this helps.

Thanks!

I have the latest version... and I'm not using it for SnG's when this is happening...

I already posted this in the TN forums but thought I'd post here also.

I am playing 18 tables casscaded using hyper simple theme. On maybe 3 of those tables the 'fold' hot key doesn't work. It is usually the same table. The other hotkeys (e.g. raise or call) will work on that table though.

I am using a PS3 controller that is using joytokey program to relate the hot keys to the controller.

Hmm, if you're using the latest version and playing cash games when its happened then this is a new issue that I am not familiar with.

I'll need a bit of information from you to get to figure this out.

Can you please send me the following information at support@alxsoftware.com?

1) Your TNLog file and TNConfigAutoLoad file from your TableNinja install directory
2) A screen shot of your tables with your HUD running.
3) If you can discern any pattern in when the crashes happen that would really help.

Hopefully with that info I'll be able to help you.

Thanks, that seems to have done the trick.

One suggestion for an improvement in the near future though... it would be nice to make the borders of tables waiting for action to have blinking borders. I've noticed that just changing a color is still hard to notice sometimes when you have a dozen of them open.

Glad the configuration change worked

We're actually in the process of completely redoing how all the drawing in TableNinja is done so I will look into making them frames blink at the same time and see how performance intensive blinking would be under our new drawing system.

Thanks

Hey guys,

We've decided that in a month we are going to make some minor changes to TableNinja's pricing. If you've already purchased TableNinja your existing license will not be affected in any way, but update renewals are changing slightly. The exact nature of the changes are detailed on the TableNinja forums so please take a look at the following link if you are considering purchasing a new TableNinja license or a Update Renewal in the near future.

It would be great if tableninja can be bought via intratransfer at the respective client PS/FT where u could establish an account like sharkscope has.

It would make the whole purchase event easier; as ones gotta ship the money from poker client to e-wallet then to direct bank and so force.

Being able to purchase via site transfer would definitely be ideal and would make the whole process much easier. I'm not sure how SharkScope gets away with this as we were told this is against the terms of service of both Stars and FT to accept payment via site transfer.

Have you paid for SharkScope recently via transfer?

I can probably email Stars/FT and inquire about this again,

Thanks

Not really paid, but when sharkscope has made their change with the opt-in system. There was the option to tranfer a certain amount to their "sharkscope" handle on ps in order to make the results visible again. They have transfered these 3cents, I think it was, back so it hasn't been any exchange of service or value.

I think there is a policy of stars that denies any deals of 3rd parties; imo thats nonsense - it's not like your software industry is a "player" that would collude with anyone.

Hi tarath,

I multitable a wide variety of sng games and structures and bought table ninja mainly for the 4 table opener. I didn't buy it sooner (eventhough I could tell early on from your interaction with this forum that your product would prove reliable) only because pokershortcuts had me salivating at the thought of being able to autoregister for 7 different sngs continously. please, please, please, consider adding 2-4 more sng openers for us who multitable a wider variety of games and structures even if we are the minority. This would be truly liberating.

thanks a bunch

Hmm, thats definitely interesting I didn't know they ever offered something like that. I will ask PokerStars exactly what their policy is and if us returning a few cents to buyers would make a difference.

To be honest I didn't realize that 4 openers wasn't enough for people so this just didn't occur to me.

There may be a bit of trickiness where TableNinja generally performs better when there is a second or two of time between registration cycles, but my guess is that adding a few more openers would be doable.

Thanks guys,

Tarath

Hmm that is very strange.

Can you email your TNConfigAutoLoad file an TNLog file from your TableNinja install directory to support@alxsoftware.com?

Hopefully with that information I can identify the cause of the problem and help you get things working
