In the mean time your best option is to use the "Click Buttons by Locations" hotkeys. These hotkeys are on the "Action Hoteys" tab and will click the left, middle and right of the 3 PokerStars buttons. "Wait for BB" is always in the middle and "Post BB" is always on the left so if you use a "Middle Button" and "Left Button" hotkey thats the best way to handle this situation for now.

Thanks

Thanks for the super quick reply. I'll try your solution. I was thinking maybe that maybe using the hotkey i have for check might work as when it is your turn to act, check is the middle button of the 3 options you are given. You know if this works? I'll give it a quick try first, as this would limit the number of hotkeys i need to assign.

Thanks for this. I tried TN for the first time last night and really liked it but did notice this issue of creating new SNG's instead of signing up for already pending SNG's. I realize this tab is in beta and thus the documentation is a bit sketchy so I just assumed Sorting Optimization was something I wanted. I guess my setup would be optimal without optimization.

Most likely using the check button will not work because the check hotkey reads the middle button to make sure that it does not say call before doing anything. The call hotkey is more likely to work.

Hey guys,

I'm excited to say that we've put up our own TableNinja forums.

We're hoping that this will provide a knowledge database with guides and tips for the best ways to use TableNinja as well as solutions and troubleshooting tips for a lot of common problems. We'll be able to create separate threads for all sorts of common questions rather than having things buried in 100 pages of posts, which should make it far easier for everyone to find answers to their questions. I strongly encourage any new users with questions to take a look at our forums and we'd love it if some of you TableNinja experts would be willing to share you wisdom with a post or two

We really value the insight that the two plus two community has to offer and I will still be reading our two plus two thread every day. This thread is still a great place to discuss the program, brainstorm new features, etc so feel free to keep posting here as usual with feedback, and suggestions. However, if you have questions or need help with the program we strongly suggest looking for answers on the TableNinja forums.

You can visit the new forums here: http://tnforums.tableninja.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1

Let me know what you think,

Thanks!

Hey guys,

We are looking for more volunteers to join our early testing group. Our testing group gets early access to all new TableNinja updates and they get to give us feedback as we are designing new features. For those who are interested, this is a great way to take an active roll in the program, and a lot of features get added/modified because of feedback we get from our testers.

If you are interested in becoming a tester please see this thread on the new TableNinja forums and follow the instructions there: http://tnforums.tableninja.com/showt...hp?p=69#post69

Thanks!

I'm hopeful that the next update will improve things, but for now if you want to play a lot of tables on an older machine you usually need to turn off frames unless you have a nice graphics card or something.
Does a good graphics card really help with the lagging problem if 24 tabling stacked?
Currently card...9600GT

Thanks.

Thanks.
A big part of what we're working on right now is making the frames faster with a lot of tables.

A good graphics card does make a big difference and with a 9800GTX you should be able to play 50 tables and keep the frames on without any lag whatsoever, but I think there is a very good chance that within a month or two we will have an update out that will allow you to use the frames with 20+ tables even on older machines or laptops and certainly with a 9600GT.

Does the lobby have to be open to autoregister for tourneys? The video on the site suggests it does, but I thought I'd heard otherwise.

Thanks for the reply.

Would you be able to recommend a good graphic card for my upgrade please?
My spec..
Vista Ultimate SP2
E8400 3.0GHz
2x2GB DDR2 1066 RAM
305T Monitor (2560x1600 resolution)
24 tables (stacked)

Appreciate if you can advise.

I assume you are referring to the main PokerStars lobby and not the tournament lobbies. Tournament lobbies never need to be opened to register for tournaments.

For the main lobby, you can drag the lobby completely off the screen or leave it in the background (it need not be visible) but we cannot register you for tournaments if the lobby is minimized or closed.

Let me know if this answers your question or if I misunderstood.

It depends how much you want to spend but there;s a great guide of the best graphics cards in various prices ranges here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...card,2387.html

I personally have dual Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTXs, however I think Radeon has started to outperform Nvidia more recently.

I don't know if this is possible or not but I thought of an awesome idea for table ninja. To make it easier to spot short stackers and to table select I edited the note files in poker stars as shown below. If I see someone playing with less than 30 BB I take a note on them. (I just use HM for the regular notes). If table ninja could do this automatically it would be very cool. I would also like to be able to mark different kinds of players with different colors.

Wow that is really cool, I actually was not aware you could use the notes files like this.

If you don't mind posting quick instructions so I can play around with this a bit that would be awesome.

I use HEM for all my regular notes also as do many other people so I bet something like this could be used by a lot of people.

Thanks,

Tarath

The files are in PokerStars>Themes>Ordinary>label. I just increased the size of the files "note" and "note.a" so they covered the whole seat area. I made the "note" file a solid block of pink color. I then made "note.a" the same size solid black. I then put a white circle in the "note.a" file. I just used trial and error to make the circle fit in the right spot. I decided that I wanted the pink color to be a little transparent so I changed the white circle to gray. The darker it is the more transparent it will be. I hope that makes sense.

I've hooked up a gamepad and it worked better than expected. I was thinking about the idea, when I saw a cheap Logitech Precision gamepad (PC gamepad) in a retail store, so picked it up. The gamepad itself had 10 buttons and an 8 way D pad, buttons felt good to use.

I then used JoyToKey and mapped joystick buttons to my TableNinja mapped keys. This way I can drop the joystick and use the keyboard if I like. The Logitech (and possibly every other gamepad) labels every button 1 to 10, and they matched perfectly with what JoyToKey expected, no software needed to be installed. So I had the mappings done in under 5 minutes.

So then it was just a case of having the joystick in the USB port, JoyToKey running and TableNinja running and I was playing poker. From that point on, it was as easy as expected, you just have to hit the right button, and the action happens, no noticable lag at all. I'm probably going to use the gamepad from now on, because the strain on your hands is much less than when hovering over a set of keys.

Yeah setting up JoyToKey can seem like a bit of a hurdle but its actually pretty easy and once you get that part done in my experience TableNinja works seemlessly with a gamepad with lag/delay whatsoever. I love playing with my gamepad and I definitely hope more people give it a try.

I'm not as experienced with Xpadder/JoyToKey and all they can do as some of our other users but our new forums have a "Guides" section. I'm hoping that at some point one of the gamepad experts out there will post a gamepad guide on our new forums.

I know some people have figured out some really cool tricks to make TableNinja and TableNinjaFT work well multi-siting while using a gamepad by binding multiple hotkeys to the same gamepad button and I think there are some other neat gamepad tricks.

If any expert on Xpadder/JoyToKey reads this and wants to post a TableNinja + gamepad guide feel free to do so here: http://tnforums.tableninja.com/forumdisplay.php?f=9. If no one does I'll try and set aside some time to do some research myself and create a guide.

Thanks

I play stacked, and I really like to have the option to move a table with one click.
Do you have a plan for this?

I'm not entirely sure what exactly you're asking for, have you tried the "Set Table Aside" hotkeys on the Table Control tab? We added them recently and I think they do exactly what you want.

Make sure you have the latest version

If I'm mistaken and you are asking for something different let me know.

Thanks!
