These tables does pop up, but might take valuable time closing while, say, 24 tabling. If a hotkey could take all 'sitting out' tables to a side (space set by dummy table, maybe), it'll be great. also, this way it'll be lot easier to differentiate 'timed out' tables from those which we intentionally sat out (say, using 'sit out next blind'). (or maybe, close all those tables that we are sitting out while we were supposed to be in BB .. sorry, if asking too much ? )
2) Filtering tables by using 'number of players currently on table'. eg: for 6max, filtering out all other tables but those with 5 players.
- I understand we can arrange the tables by 'number of players' to buy-in to tables with 5 players, but then it'll be tough table selecting based on , say, average pot or players per flop etc. (if a similar filter option for 'avg pot' or 'num of players per pot' could be made, even better.. )
3) Auto-closing of tables that are full. I click on a table with 5 players and by the time I get to the table the seat is already taken and another table pops-up for action. It'll be great if you add an option to auto-close such tables.
4) An auto-buyin (i.e automatically opens pre-set number of tables from those available in lobby) option, similar to autoregister for tourneys. Though, this might not be as useful without an advanced filter, esp for those who table-select.
5) Hotkeys to switch between 'custom table layouts'
Thanks
ps: I'm sorry if any of these features already exist on TN. Would be great if someone could help me
+1 to this post. I was going to come and mention a couple of things, but was beaten to it. All of these features would really help cash game players.
A couple of additions I could think of:
1. Sit out next BB and close table hotkey. Another for the same function for all tables.
2. Clean up all inactive tables hotkey. As mentioned, "cleaning up" takes some time and effort while still playing, so a button takes any window that hasn't come to the front in the last 2 minutes or more (at least in a cash game) could be assumed inactive and therefore close it down. Maybe not good for tournament players if they are on break.
3. The core problem behind points 1 and 2 for me is I like to have at least a minimum amount of tables open, but can only judge how many that is by seeing how many Pokerstars tables are open in the taskbar. That could be skewed if 3 of the 12 tables I see open are actually sitting out or I'm not even on the table. So maybe even a popup could show briefly (say a popup warning from the taskbar) when TN thinks my active table count has changed and show the new number it thinks are active. For me, any tables that has popped up to the front in the last 1-2 minutes is currently active, but that would of course change depending on whether you are playing cash games or MTT's. Either way it's just an indication, and when I see it I'm alerted that I need to "clean up" and potentially fire up some more tables. Perhaps at that point TN could move "inactive" tables aside or close them all down.
4. When a new table pops up, it obviously takes focus of our active table. When you go back to that table with a hotkey, it moves the mouse to the Fold button or something. I have issues with this as my stacked tables aren't 100% on top of each other, so the next table that pops up might have the mouse now over HUD stats, which then pops up detailed stats. So when a new table opens, it's annoying enough that I can't do anything for 2 seconds, but then when I can I have to move the mouse to the centre of the tables.
5. I might just be missing this, but is there a way to click the Wait for next BB button on (non-fast) tables when you have to click the option. Ideally, auto click wait for BB, then tick auto post blind when BB does come around, or if that's too hard, when you click wait for BB (with a hotkey), tick auto post blind when post BB question is asked.
My motivation for the final two are losing all need for a mouse while playing.
