I played a longer session today and by the end of the 2nd hour it started lagging a lot (I stack 24 tables on 15.4" monitor and use the maximum size tables). Anyway I don't often play more than 2 hours sessions, so I can live with that lagging for a moment. But it'll be better if you figure it out how to fix that. AFAIK this is the main concern of majority of users.

Anyway I tried the older version on some 10 2NL tables cause i read that it's not laggy. Thanks god it was 2nl I don't know why but the hotkeys didn't work unless I clicked left mouse button on the table that needed action. And I don't use mouse at all - i use gamepad, so the older version is not for me.

One more thing I'd like to add to the wishlist:

there's a hotkey in Starshotkeys for "Find table needing action". I used this hotkey a lot and it never screwed up. I mostly use that to switch from lobby when i'm done adding myself to waiting lists. There's a "Cycle to first in line table" in TN which I though was the same as the first one I described. But it doesn't work properly. Sometimes, especially when there are many tables in line, when I press this hotkey in TN it does nothing, so I have to cycle left and right to find the first in line table which is of course inappropriate and I still have to use starshotkeys for it. So could you please either fix it or add the same function the starshotkeys "Find table needing action" does.

Small bug... when I try to type something at the table--and someone's all in, the pop-up killer exits me from the tourney... much like the way it does when changing tables on a MTT.

small problem, i find that the fold hotkey doesnt work when folding to an allin bet..any ideas why this might be?

I had the same problem. I just used the 'Click button by location' part of the HotKeys and set the one I wanted to be the fold HotKey to the Left Button.

For your problem where you had to left click the table, do you have "Single Click Table Activation" and "Pop-up table whenever action is require" both set in stars?

Do you have the Cycle to first in line table set to a mouse button? Can you try it with a keyboard key and see if that changes things?

OK, I have been having problems with the PT3 HUD and cascaded tables (posting in the PT forum). The PT3 HUD was not raising lowering the HUD junk with the corresponding window when used with TN and "table under mouse" focus. This was resulting in lots of HUD junk covering up stuff that TN needed to scrape (or so I suspect).

I switched to using a tiled layout (only 8 tables), "table in foreground" focus and StarsPlanner to banish those effing "do you really want to leave" pop-ups.

This more or less worked with the following caveats:

• frequent bouts of horrible lag
• constant noticeable lag
• Occassionally the window highlighting failed so I was unsure what window had focus.

Dealing with real life problems, HUD problems, TableNinja problems and StarsPlanner problems made for a sucky day.

Trying to make our frames not fight with other programs HUDs is one of the main things we are working on and is probably contributing to the lag. Unfortuantely generally the HUDs were not designed to be friendly to other programs so it is a bit difficult but we are working on it.

Sorry and thanks for the patience. We actually may have made major progress this afternoon/evening.

Thanks for trying TableNinja and I'm glad you like the program.

The pot should be calculated correctly in the situation your describing. The only time where the calculation is not perfect is when you are cold re-raising (someone bets, someone else raises them, and you reraise) and you were not the original bettor. Since here you are just raising a donkbet the pot should be calculated correctly.

An option to invert the scroll wheel should definitely be possible. I am not sure how hard it would be to do a left click hold + rightclick type of thing without interfering with your ability to use lift click and right click for other purposes (regular clicking).

Anytime scale on the next release?

We've been making good progress, unfortunately I got picked for jury duty and my partner is going in for major surgery, so I'm not sure what kind of time frame we can commit to getting the next release out. We have a lot of good stuff added/fixed already but we really want to try and completely fix the lag problems before the release and we're not there yet.

With the betpot script, it was not very hard to create a "right click hold + left click":
~RButton & LButton::

~RButton & WheelUp::
~RButton & WheelDown::

There is a small bug with blinds. If it's folded to sb and I bet the pot, it raises to 3.5bbs instead of 3bbs. And if I am the BB and its folded to SB who limps and I pot, it raises to 4bbs instead of 3bbs.

Any idea why I get this on opening the Beta version? I'm using Firefox.

I am using the table mod u see below. The buttons and everthing else which is bet pot relevant is classic style and colors, there are no changes. TN works fine except for the second table I open. At the 2nd table it is not working at all. The good thing is, that it is also not doing any crazy stuff. It is like there is no TN running. What is the reason? If it is because of the mod, what I think, than I don't know which style it doesn't like and why it is working at any other table. I play 4 tables at a time

This was done intentionally as personally I cannot think of a good reason to raise smaller from the SB than from the button. I think counting the SB as part of the pot and shrinking your betsize doesn't make a lot of sense. However if this bothers people we could probably change it or make it optional. You can also use the X BB + Y BB per limp in these situations if you like.

Generally this means one of three things:

1) Your system time is set incorrectly
2) You are behind a firewall and are blocking TableNinja from its validation check at startup
3) Something weird is happening and you need to reboot your machine

Any ETA on a feature like ''Timeout Helper'' has? I just switched to Vista and that appears to be incompatible with it and it is a pretty big feature for me.

Today I played for 4 hours, some of that time cascading 8-12 windows, other times tiling 8 or fewer windows. The HUD behaved today and I didn't have any serious problems with TN (perhaps I am just growing used to some of the small delays). I switched back to "table under mouse" and was a lot happier. I tried "table in foreground" yesterday but bugs with the target window sometimes not being highlighted red made me want to scream.

I was on serious tilt yesterday because of these software problems. You hear stories about people breaking things because of bad beats. I don't get that upset from the bad beats but software problems when I'm under pressure to make my end of the month milestone tilt me to no end and make me want to break something or kill someone . Definitely did not make my dog happy.

Question, if I set TN to "table layout: cascaded" shouldn't this work fine for all configurations?

We have this feature working on my machine in our internal test version already as well as info tab refresh so barring unforseen problems both will be in the next update.

just found this program & it is great, but i 24 table & it lags to the point of unusable & then crashes w/ any more than 12 tables - i understand you are working on this.

if u can fix this i would definitely buy.

Is there a way i can use just some of the features - like table opener, annoyance killers & not use bet pot or other features so that it is less resource intense?

any other wyas i can make it lag less? what is verbose output?

Sorry your having lag problems, we've made a lot of progress on this, (a lot of it came this weekend) and are hoping the next release will fix the problem for the majority of users and then maybe the release after that will eliminated it completely.

In the mean time the best thing you can do is download the old version (1.0.93.0) from our website, which should have significantly less lag issues.

Okay, got it working.

With my current setup, my hotkeys will automatically adjust the bet amount to the blind level of the SNG. If it's 10/20, my bet is 80, if it's 15/30, my bet is 90 etc. I don't see anyway for this program to do that, correct? It only deals with percentages?
