Hi, first of all thanks for this
amazing software. I registered to 2+2 specifically to thank you and share my impressions on it
I'm using TO since a week on pokerstars.it. I play both tiled (up to x15) and stacked (x16+).
I used tableninja 1 & 2 for a few years and atm i still use all 3 software, so i've some requests (you suspected it, right?) to allow me abandon the outdated TN1 and the full-of-bugs TN2.
1. Filter preset bets by BB level
I'ld open 3.1x+0.9*limper at 15/30, 2.75x+1.05*limper at 20/40, 2.45x+0.9*limper at 25/50 and so on.
It would be nice to (optionally) filter postflop bets by BB level as well, and also having a checkbox for removing/counting up antes (one for each preset bet).
I know, many people already asked for this. Imho it's the biggest strength of TN2 compared to TO - sng sensei apart, but i can use another software for autoregistering, or just wait for the (in)famous PS update.
2. Disable monitor switch
I only use my secondary monitor for multitabling, but often new tables opens in the primary monitor.
I've the "Move to next screen" hotkey set, but imagine having to do the following with 15+ tables opened:
- Give focus to the new table on first monitor (after noticing it's there, of course)
- Try to press the "Move to next screen" hotkey while TN2 is continually stealing focus for registering
- Move focus back to the 2nd monitor and press the tile/stack hotkey/button
..it's very annoying. I tried to set "Max tables: 0" in the primary monitor and "Auto tile when table: is opened" in Monitor 2 (and obv all my slots are on Monitor 2), but that didn't help.
3. Auto-close tourney lobby when a new table opens
This fantastic feature was on TN1 but they removed it on TN2 (just to make it even more useless).
4. "Bubble assistant"
I haven't seen this feature anywhere, but i think it would be great for grinders. I often play sngs with different payout structures at the same times (eg: fifty50 + 9men + mtts), so it's hard to recognize bubbles at first glance. I'ld like an hotkey - or
love an automatic process - to highlight the bubbles. Maybe a different frame color, or an indicator in the HUD - something like: "Players: 6/10" or "Players: 10/27" etc. I think you can easily scrape this information from the info box.
A workaround for this is in the next point:
5. Set table(s) aside
Your software (did i already tell you how much i love it?) automatically fills the slots in chronological order. On TN2, you can setup some "Table aside" slots, and move one or more tables there by pressing an hotkey.
Especially after removing the titlebar it's very hard to distinguish mtts from sngs, that's why setting up some "special" slots (or having multiple "slots groups") would be great.
I think it should work this way:
- Setup N (more than 1 please) aside slots on TO (or specify a row/column to be used only for a specific group)
- Setup a single hotkey to "Move table aside" (or one for each group)
- When the hotkey is pressed, the focused table will move to the first empty slot/stack of that group
If the focused table is already aside (or in a group), the hotkey should move it back to the first empty "normal" slot/stack
- Pressing the "Stack" or "Tile" hotkeys should only affect the "group" you focused on
As said above, this could be really helpful for bubbles too.
6. Save more than one "settings profile" and apply with hotkey
I've read someone asking for this, my 2cents on how it should work:
- All the settings on "Tiling options" and "Stacking options" should be saved on a profile, and one could setup multiple profiles
- When setting up a new profile, one should be able to clone an existing one
- Each profile should have an hotkey to activate it rapidly while playing
Let me explain why it can be really useful. On ps.it it takes dozens of minutes to open 10+ tables. At first i like to have bigger tables, eg 3x row/column. When the 10th table pops up, i must increase the tables x row/column and press the tile hotkey/button. Finally my monitor fills at x15, so i must stack. To do this, i've to check "Move to stack after taking seat" instead of "Auto tile when table: is opened", activate a "Smart stacking mode", lower back the number of tables x row/column to see bigger tables, and finally press my "Stack" hotkey. While TN2's sensei keeps stealing focus and timebanks are screaming...
Alternatively an "Auto stack if all slots are full" and\or "Auto optimize screen space" options might be useful, but i'm not sure about how they should behave.
7. Auto click info tab
Another great feature from TN. You already have a "Refresh info tab" checkbox, but it's laggy with 10+ tables, especially if "Activate table under mouse" is checked.
It took so long to refresh that i usually already moved to another table with no clue of how many players were left. So i had to deactivate it, and give this job to TN again.
Ok, done with the features requests. Now a couple of
bugs:
a. Checking by pressing the "Fold" button is recognized as fold
Let's make an example. I got 72o in the BB, there are 3+ limpers and the flop comes QK9 When it's my turn, i don't even look at the action and just press the fold button. If there were no raises, PS automatically checks. nfortunately, your software recognizes it as a fold, and covers the table with the "Hand folded" grey glaze (if one has the "Hand folded" frame activated obv). This can happen pre-flop or on any street.
b. Close "OK" popups should not work on sngs ending popup
When a sng ends, PS will popup your finishing position and ask if you want to register to another or simply close the popup/table.
It's
not an "OK" popup, so it should not be included in this setting (or at least be optionally included).
I can't mark the last hand on HoldemManager if the table closes instantly, and it's really helpful for SnGWizard review or to write a note about oppo's push/call range.
An alternative could be a new setting: "Auto close finished tourneament after N second", just like TN.
Lastly, it's not possible to set TAB, BACKSPACE or HOME as hotkeys. TN2 allows it by keeping one of these keys pressed for a few seconds.
If you actually read all the above, i'm pretty sure you already qualified me as nitpicker and pedantic. So i'ld like to end by listing what i love of TO (violins in background):
- You're still listening to grinder's feedbacks and not selling it "before it's ready". This tells me you're coding with passion.
- The "Hand folded" and "Observed table" glaze helps my focus a lot. That's pure genius! Thanks so much for these features!
- Super-easy slots setup, definitely better than TN or any other ahk software i've ever tried. Congrats!
- Remove titlebar option: you should get a Nobel prize in "online poker multitabling helpers" for that
- Smart stacking mode, i can't imagine how it could be done better or less-flickering. A+
So yea, even if you don't add any of the features i requested, i'ld buy your subscription tomorrow 100%. Really, thanks again!
P.S. I'm not a native english speaker. Sorry if anything's not clear.
