Ok thanks Greg.

When I try to save the .ini file I get "access is denied"

I'm guessing I need to be admin in order to make this change

pretty sure I should be admin on my own computer but if you know how to do this i'd appreciate the help!

Thanks mate

Right click the file, choose Properties. Then click the Security tab at the top. Then click the Edit button to change permissions. Then for Everyone, check the box for Full Control. Click OK and then you should have access.

If, when starting up SaT, you have been needing to right click -> Run as admin, then that means you are currently not running as an administrator user. But that should be fine. And, in fact, I always recommend that everyone NOT use Windows under an administrator account. Its much safer to protect yourself from viruses and malware. Unfortunately, some software makers are lazy and require users to run as administrator. Some such softwares are poker clients such as 888poker and Bovada. In those cases, SaT can only interact with their tables if SaT is also running as admin. Otherwise SaT wouldn't have permission. If you're not playing on those sites, you could try just running SaT as a normal user.

All the hotkeys stop working on the tables that are from PS.fr, at the same time it let's go of that table in the grid. This doesn't happend at the same time on all the PS.fr tables, let's say I play two .FR tables, the one that started 5 min before the other will be let go first, after some hands, and then the other table will act the same when it has reached some hands aswell. It's pretty much like trying to play on $25 tables with the small version of SaT expect that it works for a few hands.

Hmmmmm

Maybe something with the increasing blind levels confuses SaT and it thinks that the table is now a high stakes table or something. Does it happen at a certain blind level? Can you check?

Do this for me:

Open up the one table on .FR where you say it fails. Use the menu: Help -> Diagnostic -> Get Window Title, and paste the result right when you start, when everything works. Then keep playing until the table fails. Then do the same thing and paste it, so I can check and see the difference.

Yep, this explains it. Whenever the 25/50 level starts, the table will drop out. At that time, SaT is incorrectly thinking this is a €25 buy-in tournament

The problem is, SaT looks for the stakes of the tournament at the start of the title. But, SaT looks for this format: "€10". However yours shows this: "10 €".

As mentioned in #4 on the PokerStars help page:
http://www.stackandtile.com/sat/help/pokerstars

Are your PokerStars language set to English? If not, can you try that, and see if it changes how the buyin is displayed in the titlebar? Try that first

Or, maybe you will need to change the language within Windows control panel. This user on the SaT forums had to change the currency within Windows and then it showed the currency the correct way.
http://www.stackandtile.com/forum/sh...ad.php?tid=963
It looks like this setting is in the Control Panel -> Region ->
Additional Settings -> Currency Tab

We are trying to get it to show this "€10" for the buyin. Let me know if either of those work

I dont exactly know, you will have to test it out and see

On the Currency tab, there is a drop down for "Positive currency format" which looks like the thing to change for our use case

Hmm

I have changed the currency setting to this option: "€1,1" which should be to correct one right? Either way, in pokerstars, the title ramains the same, ex "10 €". I checked the dollar currency settings in Windows and they are "$1,1" and that work great so It should be the correct setting. I have restared my computer and everything saved with the new euro settings but still it doesn't change in pokerstars.

Hrmmm ok. Usually you would want to use the period . instead of the comma, for the cents. But that doesn't seem to matter here anyway, because it looks like PokerStars doesn't obey the Windows settings.

Does this only happen on Stars.FR? Can you try the same table on the .EU client and see what it shows for the buy-in in the title? Or do .FR and .EU have different tables so you aren't able to see the same tournament?

And you said that the .FR client is set to English language within Stars?

I have an idea to fix this in either case

I actually don't even have the option to use the period. But as you said that should not matter in this case. This does only happend on .FR, I play the same tables on .EU but on other buy ins because they don't offer for expanle $10 table, but they offer $3.50, $7 and $15 tables which all works for me.

Yes the language in pokerstars.fr are set in english.

Another thing is that in the lobby where all the running and registering tournamens are showing, it's showed in "€10" for example, but I think it was showing like this even before I changed the currency settings. And it doesn't change in the title bar or the lobby for that tournament anyway.

Yeah probably the currency settings in Windows aren't used by Stars, so feel free to change those back however you want

For the .EU client, what do the title bars show for the buy-ins? I'm guessing the titlebar string looks like this instead?

€10 NL Hold'em [Turbo] - Blinds €25/€50 - Tournament 1151947404 Table 1 - Logged In as XXXXX

Yes, except thats it's in $ in EU, so I copied one that was running and it looked like this

Unlikely. But do you know that you can run Windows inside Mac? You can just run Parallels or VMware or Boot Camp and then you have Windows inside Mac, and can install your poker clients and SaT there

there is no dedicated all-in hotkey. You would need to use the BetSizeX hotkeys and configure FTP appropriately

Is there any way to make certain (or all) hotkeys only work when the mouse is over a table. I use the forward/back buttons on my mouse for raise/fold and would like them to work when I'm in a browser window.

Unfortunately, no. However, there is something similar. If you prefix a hotkey with the tilde sign "~" then that key/button will be passed through to the window underneath. So, if you used "~A" as your hotkey keyname instead of "A", then the A keystroke would be passed through to the underlying window as well as fire the SaT action. Over a poker table, this would probably send the letter A to the chatbox, in addition to firing the SaT action. In Microsoft Word, it would send the A as well

So you can try prefixing your forward/back mouse buttons with the ~ character and see if that accomplishes what you want
