Does this program support Cake poker room? I read the FAQ on the site but I was confused. It seems to only support an older version of the Cake software. Is this correct?

you can try, but I doubt it will work. I've tried very hard to support cake v2.0 but all efforts failed. Cake v1 should work ok.

Just tried to set this up on ipoker and i cannot get past the fold option

Initially .. pressing F10 did not fold .. it min raised.

Then it crashed .. and after restarting ... the F10 did nothing at all ..

Im now getting the following pop up.

Failure:
Stack and Tile.exe
doesnt match for this site

ERROR. table detection did not work. Windows does not match the table classname or the lobby process. Cancel this and try again

Im using MMM ..so that might be the problem .

yeah the built in iPoker settings are for the default table

if you are using a table mod, then you'll need to go through the Custom Site Wizard, which takes a little bit longer. just select "Other" from the site dropdown

I seem to have done something else wrong too in setting this up.

When i click start ... the lobby seems to go into slot 3 and i cannot remove it as it snaps back there.

It seems to class the lobby as a new table..

Also ... any particular hot keys are more relevant than others ?

I basically have 6 slots open with number one being the stack i think .. and i only have 2 hotkeys ..S = Stack Table and F = Fold and Stack Table.

**edit** .. ill be hopefully playing 9 tables, what happens if i already have 5 tables in the slots and another table needs action, does that table stay in the stack until ive put another one back from the slots or does it go on top of another in slot 3 etc ?

yeah, should be an easy fix. you'll need to manually edit your custom created site file, which will be in C:\Program Files\StackAndTile\Sites , i just posted about this on the SaT forum:

well all depends on your goals. some people use a "keep table in grid" hotkey so that if they send a "fold+stack" command, the table will stay in grid instead of returning to stack. this is useful if you're at a final table, or if you're playing HU and want to pay extra attention

as you play more, youll prob have request and then you can check out the other hotkeys. if you click on the blue underlined label in the software it will give you explanations

stays in the stack until a slot is free, but should pop to the top of the stack so at least you are aware of the table and can act on it
(assuming you are using "Action Required" setting)

I added Betfair Poker to table exclude title text which stopped the lobby moving.

I basically have 2 monitors, which has room for 8 tiled normal size tables and wanted to use up 6 spaces.

When i visualize grid i get the following - top x134 , bottom x256 and 1 is suppose to be the one that stacks the tables.

Stack slot = 1, new table slot = 3 according to layout.

When i opened two tables .. they went into slots 2 and 4 and where classed as tiled tables and no matter how often i selected the stack hotkey .. it would jump to one and go straight back to the original slot.

I have black tables and every time i had a decision to make .. a black square appeared in slot 3 !!

Im also getting the buy in pop up moving to slot 3 too .... the software likes slot 3

ok, we'll get you going here.

first, you have New Tables slot = 3. so all your popup windows and everything get moved to slot 3. thats because SaT is detecting those windows as tables. to stop that, we'll force a slash / to be in the window title (slash / is a special character so we need to precede it with backslash \). use this setting:

now, as for tables staying in slots 2 and 4 despite your attempts to re-stack.. this happens because SaT thinks a fold button is still visible, and therefore the table still requires action.

so first, is the fold button visible? if not, it could be that the table background color when the fold button IS NOT visible is the same as the fold button itself. that is, if the fold button is black, but the table background is black too, then SaT cannot know whether the fold button is there or not. so you'd need to switch the theme to at least have the buttons a different color, and then remove and re-include your custom ipoker site

I changed the background colour to dark blue but that did not work ... so i tried a dark red .. and this seems to work fine.

SaT allows for a little bit of variation, so if the colors are too 'close' it will still detect. so i'm glad you got it going. if you need more help or notice any quirks, just post them

Would at least recommend this program to anybody who plays at Ongame. Using it for about a year, good support from Greg and able to play much more tables.

edit/ i no longer see a "mini" mode. is that gone? is there only one layout now? hrm seems that if you resize the table the smallest, the chatbox disappears.. might be a problem

lastly, is it worthwhile to keep the old Merge settings in SaT? is everyone FORCED to update or will some users stick with the old client for now?

Everyone has to change, but it's remotely possible they may roll back - highly unlikely tho. Mini mode gone.
