make sure that you have these settings turned off in each client:
http://stackandtile.com/sat/node/11
and i'm not sure if party has a similar setting but youll want to turn it off in party too
i dont notice anything too strange. i think what youre experiencing is that you are probalby using a fold+stack hotkey to fold on the tables already in your stack, yes? and by default, anytime you use a "stack" hotkey, it moves the table to the BOTTOM of the stack.
so, when you get a bad hand in the stack, you use your fold+stack hotkey. SaT does the following:
1. clicks fold
2. moves table to stack (its already there)
3. moves table to bottom (was currently on top)
so since it moves the table to the bottom, the next table in the stack now becomes visible. this next table is visible NOT because action is required, but because we just moved the previous top table to the bottom. so the visible table is just one that is idle (although you may have cards and pre-fold checkboxes, the table doesn't require action until the actual FOLD button is visible). so then that idle table will be at the top of the stack until the next stack table requires action (FOLD button visible) which will then pop to the top of the stack
i hope you understand. if you do, see if what i said makes sense and compares to what you are experiencing. if you think its incorrect, then we can investigate further.
also, if you want to try without sending the table to bottom, and see if this reduces some flickering for you, you can add this line in your SaT config under [settings]:
Code:
[settings]
...
send_to_bottom_on_stack=0
[sites]
...
[hotkeys]
...
the problem with this option, is that if you fold+stack a table in the grid, it wil move to the TOP of the stack, potentially covering up a table that curreenlty requires action in the stack
finally, are you really playing 35 tables somewhat successfully with SaT? thats very impressive and probably the highest reported so far!
