Second, is there a way to block the program's access to outside networks? I cant imagine any reason why it is mandatory that it must connect.
Thanks.
it connects to determine when the beta period will expire. its not the best solution. and ive been working on the commercial version and was hoping that i wouldnt have to do this, but i think its gonna stay. sorry. if you dont trust it, then dont use it. you can block its access with your firewall, but then the program wont be able to check when it should expire

this is crap. again, if you dont trust it, please dont use it. take care of yourself and be safe.
on the other hand, I KNOW I'M NOT WRITING MALWARE, so i am not worried. but i guess now i have to do some bullshiit work dealing with avira. this is the problem with writing software using AutoHotkey because so many script kiddies can abuse it to make bad stuff that the antivirus companies just blindly assume everything is bad

another solution for people who dont trust it, you can download a software called
www.sandboxie.com , which creates a 'sandbox' that isolates software from your windows system. i use it for protection against malware and such. you could install StackAndTile into the sandbox, it should still be able to interact with pokertables that are outside of the sandbox.
