ok so its set up correctly, its recognizing the correct table size, and set up 4 slots like you wanted. that much is good.
i think i know why tables are staying in the slots. when you manually resize the tables to fit the grid, they might be *slightly* different from the size you used during setup. and then if you are using "detect all in" setting, it will see the wrong pixel color. i will think about how to fix this table size problem in future version
for now, heres what you can do, step by step, to make sure all your stars tables are the same size. tile 4 tables on stars. close 3 of them. then click on "view menu in lobby, then click on "save custom layout". name it something like "mytablesize". then click the "help" menu in lobby, and then click "open my settings folder". find the "user.ini" file and open it. at the bottom you should these lines:
[Layout]
mytablesize=0,0,560,414
now your numbers will be different. thats ok. all you need to do now is copy those 4 numbers many times, with a space between each. so if i were to copy mine for 12 tables, it would look like this:
[Layout]
mytablesize=0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414 0,0,560,414
notice how after each copy there is a blank space 0,0,560,414_0,0,560,414_0,0,560,414
once you're done copying, save the file, and close pokerstars. then reopen it. go to "view" menu in lobby and make sure your "custom layout: mytablesize" is checked. what you've just done is make sure that all your tables will be the same size, and they will be on top of each other. thats ok. then run setup again, then try starting the program.
