@mods, maybe this is a thread that belongs in the beginner's questions section.

Hi all,

What (cheap) software do you guys suggest in which you can construct complex preflop ranges, meaning that you can have one table with different groups within your range in a different color and (most importantly) that immediatly shows the percentages of each group of hands within your range.

I could write an excel for this, or could just calculate by hand every time, but I also want a more flexible/fast way of trying out new ranges etc.
I want to emphasize that I'm mostly looking for a software that automatically calculates the proportions/percentages of each group of hands in the full range. (w/ MDF-calculations in mind, etc...)
