No, I don't think so. I've tried it a bunch of times now and made sure to overwrite all files. Maybe my backup folder is missing some files, because I think I had more stuff in there the first time I tried to cope/paste than I have now. But I could just be remembering incorrectly.

The revert instructions earlier are based on example of reverting Pokerstars.com so the folder of importance mentioned was C:\Program Files\Pokerstars

However if you use .eu, .ee etc... and you probably do since .com didnt even update yet , make sure to operate on files from your PokerStars install folder which for EU should normally be C:\Program Files\Pokerstars.eu\backup and paste/overwrite in C:\Program Files\Pokerstars.eu

I use pokerstars.eu but I don't have a pokerstars.eu folder on my computer. I am pretty sure that the folder I've been copy/pasting into is the correct one, since it's the only pokerstars folder I have .

When can we expect sharky to be updated?

Right, by default it has .eu but you can probably name it anything when installing.

You could try to use backup folder from a friend or something like that.

The updated version with some new features should come pretty soon.

Alright, so I downgraded the ps client to an older version that I had on my other computer. First I tried to copy/paste the backup folder like before, but that only gave me the same error as I previously encountered, so instead I replaced the whole installation folder. I launched the old version of ps, but when I ran sharky and pressed start I now got a window that Said:
Error
Could not synchronize Pokerstars Client, try again or contat support...

I thought that this version of ps probably was to old, so I copied the content of the backup folder that I used yesterday and pasted it into the downgraded pokerstars installation folder. Now a very buggy version of pokerstars launched. It looked like this:

I obviously don't really know what I'm doing and I think that the only way I can get this to work is if I can get a hold of someone else's installation folder. So if someone is feeling especially kind today and would like to upload their downgraded pokerstars.eu installation folder and pm me the link, I would be very happy

I'm not very computer savvy so I apologize if this is a dumb question, but how do I copy files from the back up directory into the Pokerstars directory?

I tried running the Pokerstars client straight from the backup directory but kept getting the same error message everyone else has been getting.

Are you using virtual machine? If so, could try to increase resources on it.

I'm using Windows 7 via bootcamp on mac. Not sure what you mean by increasing resources?

Also is 2.62 for the latest stars version?

I am not familiar with bootcamp but you could probably add more resources to it (ram, cpu, gpu...)

It wont happen 99%, you could keep the setup window minimized and re-click setup when you want it back.

Not sure what on your Windows could be causing this but i would

- right click, properties - check if there is some block on the .exe file
- try disabling antivirus that you use
- try running as administrator
- reboot pc

If this wont help, let me know on skype about this and i will take a look

can you make the rematcher stop when sharky is stopped/paused? Now, if you want to take a break you need to close sharky.

Usually, I am 3tabling. But at some times, I don't get enough action at a certain stake because the waitlist is too long. So in case this is happening I want to add so many tables of a lower buy-in that I play 3 tables at the same time again (3 tables all the time).

What settings do I have to use to achieve that?

Obv, I wanna play as many of the higher buy-in games as possible and only play at the lower buy-in level if sharky can't manage to play 3 tables of the higher BI level at the same time.
