i am getting automatic setup issues/unbound column error, a good deal of the time i have a lobby and it tries to reg but gets 'stuck' clicking 'ok' and it loops it over and over trying to press ok until i have to click it.

any ideas to a fix? anyone else having similar problem?

btw, i really like the queue system and think sharky is better/fairer for it, and virtually no simul-sit, good job with that

There are few users with Avg antivirus that had "automatic setup" issue which was resolved by disabling/removing avg. You should also check if Pokerstars is latest version.

Just purchase Sharkystrator.

Same here since today. Yesterday I got a server error, updated to new sharkystrator version and everything was fine but since today I got this new problem..

if you dont have the newest pokerstars version, try updating.

i have avira and latest version but i still have the same issue

i have the new pokerstars updated and sharkey update , it says scanning lobbys then does nothing , it also says auto config server then does nothing. I used the backup version of stars and it would not run as it says you are running old version please download update. please help

I also have the same problem sometimes but restarting sharky usually fixes it for me.

You should not use backup version anymore, only latest version of PokerStars


There seems to be something with new PokerStars that makes setting up Sng list columns problematic on some PCs, still not sure what causes it exactly but this can be easily solved manually for now...

Normal Sharkystrator column setup in PokerStars SNG list is "ID, Game, Limit, Buyin, Speed, State, Enrolled"

If you however notice it looking different and it seems that the problem happens where "Type" column is added like this

"ID, Game, Limit, Buyin, Speed, Type, State, Enrolled"

just stop and start Sharkystrator again until it fixes itself.

When i start sharky it puts the type column in , then i take it out manually and the error message goes away , then sharky says scanning lobbies and still is unable to register any sngs. Ive tried stop starting and that has not worked.

I had exactly the same problem yesterday. I would also un-check 'type' manually and still wouldn't work. Marko suggested it might be AVG I temporarily disabled this which fixed that problem yesterday so if you currently have AVG you might want to give that a try.

However today my sharky is back to not getting any lobbies but for what appears to be a different reason. I now have AVAST anti virus and unistalled AVG. It is set to get lobbies in the 200's, 300's and 500's I can only see the queue for the 200's and I get to the top of this queue then miss the lobby and go straight to the back again anyone know what this problem might be?

- Pokerstars and sharky running same administrator rights.
- I have the lastest pokerstars and sharky versions.

Just resolved the issue with Marko after I unistalled AVG I needed to unistall Sharky and re-install it in case anyone has the same problem....

You dont need to take it away manually, best is to just stop-start. If you have avg you could do what the1rake1 did and remove it and then reinstall Sharkystrator since avg could mess up some files thinking its threat.

sharky is really slowing down my PC, anything I can do about it?

I have set sharky to register into 2 SNGs but I sometimes get registered into 3 SNGs and have to stop and start sharky again. Any fix for this problem?

Sharky doesn't work anymore. Newest version stars/sharky. It automaticaly removes types, says scanning lobis, but doesn't do a thing

I hope one day sharky will be available on Mac

Great piece of software!
However, its extremely important for me to always see "Type" column, if I'd like to play satellite tourneys and dont wanna play targets. So I need to stop register at some time.

With TN, I always see types, and can always review a suspicious satellites (like "$12K Gtd Sat") in the list to see the target start time with a single click (target time is displayed above "Tourney Lobby" button at PS Lobby), and decide, when to stop registration.
With sharky, I cannot see types, and before each start, I need either
- manually add type column, review target start times and start grind for not more than half an hour, then stop, repeat the check and start again (because some weird satties could appear before 50 minutes prior to the target)
- open another unlogged-in PS client on another PC (or VM on separate display) and continuously track type column there. It needs additional hardware that I cannot take it on the road (and it costs money when at home)

This misfeature is pretty unsafe and thus, inconvenient. It really makes the registration subject to money-loss for me in MTT.

Is there any chance to preserve the column somehow? Maybe, some extra option could be introduced?
I really wanna buy an expensive option of sharky, I'm at first day of trial. But this misfeature stops me now

Been trying to reach you through skype for a while now but you haven´t answered. I wish to upgrade my sharky to be able to play 100 dollars.

Not sure about this, since its not something that normally happens its hard to know right reason why it happens to you.

This sometimes happen and i am looking into this via some logs i have to check the problem.

Sounds as something else you have there is a problem as everything should be alright with new PS, you can add me on skype:sharkystrator and i will see what is the problem.

Same problem here.

And sometimes I got another error:
"Log Error...
Unable to read PokerStars lobby state. Reopening log."

It happens mostly when some other software is running on my computer (for example my internet browser.)

What's the solution for these issues?
