Is there a way to lock in a range continuation bet on the flop in Simple Postflop? I want to disallow the check option in certain instances and see what results.

yes, sure.

right click on the branch of the tree that you want to lock -> "Edit Strategy" -> set strategies that you want to lock and then click "Apply".

in the Simple Postflop beta version you could edit range to lock in a such way (Edit Node Strategies):


to update to beta version of Simple Postflop:
1) open directory with Simple Postflop
2) choose file update.bat and right-click on it, choose edit and replace
"updater.exe http://update.simplepostflop.com/stable_x64/ SimplePostflop.exe" with "updater.exe http://update.simplepostflop.com/beta_x64/ SimplePostflop.exe", then save it
3) run update.bat
4) with new opening dont update again

I'm looking at servers to rent on Amazon to run full 6-max preflop sims. I've been building the trees on my computer-120ram--so I can just upload them once I'm on the server. SPF freezes on my cpu when I try and load the sim--I assume because its to large. All I'm trying to figure out is how much memory do I need to run any and all 6-max preflop sims? There's virtual machines w/ 6k ram and I don't want to overshot, if that's even possible.

Also, if anyone can direct me to a thread with step-by-step instructions related to using a cloud server, I'd appreciate it. I have a video tutorial but it kind of sucks.

You could use button Generate Boards button in the dropdown list of Save Tree button to generate many boards files.

Then you could perfrom all of the files one by one automatically via menu Standalone -> Jobs.

Hi. In Simple GTO Trainer I am trying to create a custom game. I would like the run the node of CB BTN vs BB and facing a XR.

I have tried:

r:0:c:b30:b3x
r:0:c:b30:b3
r:0:c:b30:r3x
r:0:c:b30:r

But it's not picking up. The problem seems to be the b3x as r:0:c:b30 works. What am I doing wrong? 3x is the XR size I have in my parameters

Is there a way to export simple preflop solutions to database or something that can be converted into database?

Also is it possible to export each street's range to text file?

Ideally I want the entire tree (all the actions) into something I can work with using other scripting languages.

you need to copy the path of the node you want to train from "Browser" section:

I think it should be r:0:c:b30:b90 there

you can right-click on the game tree, select "Copy Node Strategy" and export strategy from the game node in the JSON format:

There is no way to export strategy from the full tree at once


From the release of Simple Omaha tool, there was very little interest of audience in it, so at the moment it is practically not updated. We fixed the bugs that users reported, but in general we are not actively working on this tool at the moment.
At the moment there is no export feature. We don't want people to use solutions in RTA, so we don't add the ability to fully export solutions.

hi i am using simple preflop, is there some way to import a certain game tree? thing is that i have a solution for 9max and manually adjusted all the bet/raise sizes, now i want to solve for different stacksizes, whereby i have to delete the tree, change the stackdepth and rebuild the tree, losing my adjusted sizes. an import feature would be extremely helpful.

How do I know the accuracy of the solution? For example, in GTO+ I can set a Target dEV to 0.5% ... but I am not sure how to compare this to Simple Preflop.
