[HUD] "Odds" changes in hand replayer HUD when moving past player who folded... why?

Hey 2+2! I'm a poker newbie and I'm trying to practice calculating pot odds among other things. I'm using previously played hands (on Ignition) and the hand replayer from PT4.
I'm looking at a hand with the following action:
HJ opens to 3BB.
CO 3 Bets to 10.4BB
Folds around to me in BB. (I have 6d8d and fold fwiw)
When I do the calculation of my pot odds manually, it looks like this:
Pot before I bet: 14.8 (0.4BB from the SB ante, 1BB from BB ante (me), 3BB from open raiser, 10.4 from HJ re-raise)
Bet I'd have to call: 10.4
Pot odds: my bet(my bet + prior pot size) = 10.4/(10.4+14.8)= 41% (.412...)
I see that the HUD on the PT4 hand replayer gives you odds. But the first thing I notice is that it shows odds of 1.57-1 or 39%. That's different from what I calculated above.
My first thought was that I must have made a math error. But the next thing I noticed is that when I step the hand replayer around the table, it changes even when no new bets are made.
When the action is on BTN, it says "Odds 1.42:1 - 41%." BTN folds.
When the action moves to SB, it nows says "Odds 1.48:1 - 40%." SB folds
When the action moves to me, it says "Odds 1.57:1 - 39%."
What gives? I assume I'm misunderstanding what the HUD represents, and that the "odds" displayed are not straight pot odds.
I'm sure this is a dumb question but I appreciate your patience in helping me out! Hey if you keep me around you might very well take all of my money someday in the future!
