I do not recommend getting started with HM3. Unfortunately I am already pretty invested in it, with all the stuff I've built out for my HUD... and the fact that it's a yearly subscription & they won't exchange it for a PT4 license despite the fact it isn't working properly anymore. The past few months I've been getting a lot of crashes, popup delays sometimes so bad I can't get the information I need in time to utilize it, and the program seems to "time out" after sessions ... meaning the replayer doesn't load quickly and if I start a new session the HUD usually won't even load ... so I need to restart the entire program (which usually means having to exit the HM3 server program prior to closing HM3 ... sometimes also have to ctrl+alt+del to get rid of HM3 processes).
Have been round and round with their support and while they are relatively responsive (one or two responses a day) - and they have acknowledged the problems I'm having - it doesn't feel like anyone is actually fixing the problems - or at least they aren't letting anyone know a timeline (and explicitly said they don't have a timeline...) or how the work is progressing.
Based on playing around with PT4 and H2N I'd recommend either over HM3 ... PT4 seems to work smoother at least in the menu's / replayer, but I haven't tested it in live play (with a HUD built out like my HM3 HUD). H2N seems more powerful from what I can tell but the program seems a little laggy going through the menus, also haven't tested in live play. PT4 is also owned by the same company as HM3 - so not sure if the support issues with HM3 cross over to PT4...
