they recommended i switch databases in AHC, then back to HM3. then to make sure configuration settings were correct in HM3. i tried this, but still wouldn't work :/

Try deleting the pppoker hand history location in HM3 then close. Open AHC, switch database and save then switch back to HM3. After that, reload AHC and open HM3.

I briefly spoke to the developer who looked at your tix. The problem was that it wasn't configured in site settings. You can also manually do this in HM3. You just have to point pppoker in site settings of hm3 to the AHC hand history directory for HM3. By default it should be:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ace Poker Solutions\Asian Hand Converter\HM3HandHistories\ppp_hh

I just switched to AHC, all is working fine and the HH captured by AHC merged with the one captured by pppoker card catcher. thanks again for the help.

Try contacting support, if it was never activated they should be able to switch it.

Thanks for the helps last time. just wanted to ask if this is still getting patched if in case pppoker update because some of the players still have a month+ with their card catcher license.

Yes, it is for now. But again, Pppoker is now included in the asian hand converter:

Yes, if you're just using pppoker right now, then just wait for it to expire and then buy a new license for the asian hand converter... you'll get a new license code you'll need to enter.

Did this ever get solved. I’m having exact same issue. All the load is going to copy.
Behaviour of pc when running pppoker desktop client is the exact same as described. But I can run more or less infinite emulators with my setup.
GPU is AMD Radeon RX6600

Yes, but they weren't running desktop it was emulator settings. Desktop version doesn't take many resources. You can try sending your cpu setup to support and they can help provide some setting adjustments, but I'd start with just stopping any software that isn't needed.

It is for now, but yes, next time just purchase a new AHC license.

A friend of mine wants to switch to DH2, just asking if DH2 still support the card catcher OR does he need to wait for his card catcher to expire and then switch to the integrated AHC.
