I have issues with the soft popopop replayer, can you help me please.

I used the replayer as recently as 3 days ago and it looked fine, but now it looks like this for me too. I updated Java (even though it was already current), completely uninstalled and reinstalled the replayer, and it's still doing it. What gives?

There is a tool (for windows user) to batch convert text file to UTF-8 code called UTFCast (seach on google, and download the express version, its free). This way you don't need to manually open the HH and change the encoding for each file.
CouldNotLoadArgumentException[ Could not load file/URL specified: C:\Documents and Settings\Paul\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\36\db05364-7f4c3342]
at com.sun.javaws.Main.launchApp(Unknown Source)
at com.sun.javaws.Main.continueInSecureThread(Unknown Source)
at com.sun.javaws.Main$1.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
That"s right:
Open Hand history in Notepad (eg. FT20091217 $2 + $0.25 Sit & Go (125721895), Table 1 - 15-30 - No Limit Hold'em.txt) > Save as > change Encoding to ANSI or UTF-8 > drag and drop file to PUR
thats so boring cuz there is tons of files you must to get in one for a big tourney.

I have access to 2 computers running XP and 1 works and the other doesn't.
Working Computer:- Java 6 update 6
Non-working computer:- Java 6 update 17
I have tried uninstalling Java and reinstalling version 5 from the Sun website but this also failed and there is no option to download version 6 at a lower release than the current update 17 (at the moment).
Does anyone knows if the popopop sources are available to the public ?
Thanks,
This update message (created on 6th Oct 2009) is currently in the player, to see it in the software click: Help: Updates list.

My life changed much at the same time. I had a wonderful baby, got married, got a new job, etc... And since most of the software was coded instead of sleeping, what was endurable for me in 2006 or 2007 no longer is.
That's the reason why, over the past 12 months, I stopped doing what I was supposed to do : Support the software. No more reply to emails, no more fix, no more update.
I'm truly sorry for that, and I owe every unreturned email an apology.
My situation has not changed, so I won't be doing much more "UR" related work.
However, I'd like to take this opportunity to offer anybody which will seem trustful enough to me the source code.
I don't have any requirement on what should the software become, I only ask it remains free of charge.
So, if you can handle a big project full of Java and XML code, and if you wish to give UR a second youth, please send my an email to popopop.poker@gmail.com with "[UR 2nd chance]" as subject (i'll only read those ones).
To all other, I wish this hand-over will mean the end of a too long break.
