I'm happy to inform that Universal Replayer has a new developing team.
A new version of the software has been released with some bug fixes and the support of the new OnGame software (P5).
My idea is to use this new thread, instead of the old one, to provide support and infos.

Universal Replayer remain a free software but in order to help the developent of the software consider to make a donation.

Is this the right place to suggest improvements?

In Stud games, it would be nice to still see the folded upcards. Maybe shaded like in the PS or FTP replayers.

The version is the same. Universal Replayer use the Java VM so win or mac is not a problem.
We have some Mac user so check your Java installation.

There are several way in oreder to load the HH.
Try to follow this procedure:
File
Convert hand history
Browse
choose the right file
choose the right poker room
Convert
Launch.

Full tilt hh works fine.

HI:

As I was playing a heads up stud session, I would copy hand histories (of interesting hands i wanted to review later) into a separate folder. I did this so I would have these specific hands set aside where I could ask my friend to analyze these hands with me. I figured that would be quicker than saving the entire match and having to look through all the hands for the key hands I really wanted.

This folder has a combination of hands from hu (heads up) razz at fulltilt and hu razz at Absolute poker. I can't get these hands to play.Ugggggggggggggggg!

I'm sure it's my fault but I'm stuck and frustrated. I saw a video on deucescracked that showed how to download 1 hand at a time (so i think) into universal replayer. Is there a way to download a file with say 50 hands in it directly to the replayer and just hit play and let all the hands play out in order? If so, can someone please help me. I followed the directions on the website ( http://www.universal-replayer.net/tutorial.html ) and I still couldn't get the hands to play. I'm sure it's my fault and I'm missing a simple step

Hi,

when I try to drag and drop HH files into Popopop, "parsing data" comes up in the text box, and then nothing happens. The program just stays like that.

When I try to go through the File > Convert History route, the same thing happens. Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

Thanks.

Thanks anyway, but I found the latest version of the replayer and when I installed that the problem was fixed.

I have 2 quick questions though,

1) When I import hands from HEM, the replayer always shows 9 seats at the table, even if the HH is a heads up or 6 max one. Is there any way of changing this so that the replayer only shows the seats for the people that are actually in the hand? It would just make it look neater.

2) What is the easiest way of exporting hands from HEM to the replayer? Is it by opening a .txt file and copying and pasting the HHs into that, then importing?

Thanks for your help.

Usually we didn't import hand history from HM because every little modifications to the hand history can cause some problem to the parser.
So the best thing is to set Universal Replayer to import directly the hh from the default directory.

.
I find the easiest way is to just drag the text file from the HEM processed files folder, and drop it onto the replayer window.

If you're not sure where this is
Options > Configure Auto Import Folders, click on a folder and choose edit and it will display the archive folder path.

It seems that OnGame starting form october 31 changed the date format, and with the new format the replayer stops importhing these hand history.

Please can you confirm?
Thanks

Can't resize the window...don't see the bottom of the replayer. Hiding taskbar didn't help. Monitors at 1280x720, which I'm used to...should I switch when using the replayer or is a fix coming?

Universal Replayer cannot be resized.
I use 1280x800 but 1280x720 should be fine.
We have an idea to create a resizable version but is a very long term target.

A new update has been released.
With this update you can import the hand history of Cereus Network (Absolute Poker & Ultimate Bet). The supported game are Texas Hold'em and Omaha.
For both you have to use the Absolute Poker icon in the "Poker Room" slide menù.
There are also some minor bug fixes for OnGame data.
Don't forget to download the brand new skin. It's wonderful, you can find it in the download page.

Great! I'm very happy it's under active development again.

Here's my "wish list" for features in no particular order:
1) Connect to HEM and/or PT to get HHs and display HUD stats
2) If it's a tournament, offer some tournament equity calculations (ICM, chip chop)
3) If its a tournament, try to infer how many tables are left and display
4) Filter hands by position, display positions in the hand selector somehow
5) button to invoke holdemresources.com's ICM Nash calculator with hand details
6) integrate a poker stove-like hand evaluation capability

Also, I've noticed one bug:
6) Sometimes the first hand isn't imported. This seems related to moving HHs across OS's and may be a line ending [CR/LF] issue.

Hi,
follow this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRD9AWzRLN8 on our youtube channel in order to remove completely the old installation.

Then try to install it again.
