Ignition Hand Grabber is not working properly since last update.

App does record hands from the first 2 tables i open, then suddenly does not recognize any other tables that i open and isnt saving hands nor showing HUD.

This started happening a few days ago out of nowhere, using latest version of PT4.

So we can investigate this please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Click 'Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing' before you start Ignition. Take a seat at one table, allow the HUD to appear before you open a second table and wait for the HUD to appear there before opening a third e.t.c. and if you then have any problem with having a HUD not appearing and hands not importing then take a screenshot and send that to us in a Support Ticket with your Ignition support bundle:

Logs sent, ticket opened since yesterday and still waiting for an answer. Ticket #949238. Also, have a friend having the exact same problem while using HM3 hand grabber.

HI, I want to restore a DB from 2019 - when I do that it looks like it worked but says there have been some errors. nothing more. The restored DB does not appear - just my actual DB

has smth changed with SQL or so?
Do I have to observe anything?

- PT version back then is obv way older than todays. Is it compatible with todays`? Could there be a problem with SQL?

Please move the backup file to the root of C:\ and then turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next try the restore with everything disabled under 'Optional Files' and if this attempt also fails create a support bundle via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4 and then attach that file to a Support Ticket so we can check your logs.

I've been having the same issue. At some point in my session it will stop detecting new tables. Now I can't get it to pick up any tables, have tried restarting ignition and pt4 several times.

There is a known issue with the Ignition Hand Grabber at this time and the development team are investigating what changed in the revent Ignition updates. Please open a Support Ticket if you would like to receive a notification when the fix is pushed out.

what is the best course to create stats, heatmaps, texture stats in the market that you are aware of? i was using hand2note4 for hud but i cant set it up in apps and i would like to learn everything about pt4

I am not aware of any external courses. We have this guide on the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide goes into more detail. While the latter was written for PokerTracker 3 and the user interface is different the techniques still apply to PokerTracker 4. If you have any questions on the specifics of custom statistic creation you can contact us via our support system or forums.

So recently WPN has introduced 4 seat max PLO tables. These are still regular 4-card PLO games. After several sessions, PT4 doesn't seem to be importing hands, or displaying HUD.

Any plan to support these tables in the near future?

This isn't a known issue so if WPN is creating the hand history files and PokerTracker 4 is not importing them then please attach these hand history files to a Support Ticket and we can take a look at this. Thank you.

A bunch of players in my database have their PFR stat higher than VPIP, which shouldn't be possible. How can I fix this?

It is possible as not every opportunity to VPIP is also an opportunity to raise.

For example Player A in BB faces an all-in steal from the SB. They can only fold or call and there is no opportunity to raise. In this hand they fold.

Next hand Player A raises preflop.

For these two hands Player A has a VPIP of 50% (1/2) and a PFR of 100% (1/1).

Yes it's less likely on larger samples but it's somewhat dependant on the types of games you play and bear in mind if you are using filters for your reports/HUD then that will also have an influence on the statistics you are seeing.

HI sorry, this has probably been covered in this tread but can't seem to find it. Trying to do a new install on a new laptop and am getting a port issue. Any easy fix for this?

Try port 5433 instead.

are you planning to fix multiway pot ev when someone is already allin or not?

If a hand has further action on another street after an all-in or if another player called an all-in and then folded to subsequent action then PokerTracker 4 does not calculate adjusted equity as it introduces a bias in the results. If you are referring to something else then please attach an example hand history to a Support Ticket.

It really seems like some sort of a bug in my case.

In 36 hands his PFR is 100 (2/2). How is it possible that he only had 2 opportunities to raise in 36 hands? Doesn't seem right.

I don't think I have any filters on the PFR stat. Everything in 'Item Properties' looks normal

At the end of the PostgreSQL install did it say it installed successfully or not? Click your Windows Start button then type the following command:

services.msc

and click on it when it appears. Do you see the PostgreSQL service in the list? Is it started, or can you start it? What is its 'Status' and 'Startup Type'?
