Thanks for the quick reply. Can you confirm PT4 tracks results for ACR? PT4 seems to be a favorite within the online community and I cant imagine players would be happy manually implementing every tourney. Trying to confirm PT4 does track results for ACR before I submit a ticket.

hello, i play bet365 using pt4
i just noticed that it doesnt give me correct results because it doesnt import hands where i chose to use the feature 'ev cashout'
it does import hands correctly where i chose run it twice but not when i cashed out my EV

also, it says i've won €36 (game currency) but lost €36 (my currency), how can i make sure this is the same? it shows my bb/100 is positive around 5bb yet the winnings in My C Won are shown as the loss..

how can i fix these two things? are these known issues?

This issue is related to the lack of rake in iPoker hand histories when the cashout option is used. We have been in discussion with iPoker about this and if you would like to be automatically notified when this is resolved then please open a Support Ticket.

OK. Maybe you con ask your rivals if they are willing to help because I tried importing them in holdem manager 2. And this time hands with ev cashout did import correctly but hands with run it twice didnt. So the other way around of PT4.

Maybe this can help sort out where the problem lies and both trackers can import both situations correctly.

furthermore, you've explained why the ev cashout hands were missing but why is my game currency won & my c won positive vs negative.
Also when i look at my hands the pots where i've won €20 it says -€20, and where ive lost €15 it says it says +€15. So its always the other way around..

To fix that go to 'Database -> Currency', select any sessions/tournaments which have an exchange rate of -1 and click the 'Set Rates' button to fetch the correct exchange rates. Note that you can select a range of rows by holding shift and clicking the start/end and you can also select multiple ones individually by holding CTRL and selecting. This situation normally occurs when the timezone is configured incorrectly for iPoker as their hand histories do not specify what timezone is being used so you should set the time in the iPoker lobby to server time and not your local time. Then in PokerTracker 4 go to 'Configure > Sites & Import Options > iPoker' and select the skin you play at, or if it isn't listed one which uses the same server timezone as your skin. That should mean that the hands import as the correct time, and that should avoid problems with retrieving the exchange rates for future sessions.

Is there a way to add a stakes filter for a rule in Notetracker?
When I do it for either the player or the opponent, I get a popup saying "Player Filter is Invalid" and the rule would not be saved.

I've been having the exact same issue for the past few weeks: no buy-ins or results importing for ACR MTTs (although hand histories are fine and all fine for SNGs).

I've submitted several support tickets with documentation and they last updated me today to say they are working on fixing the issue. Anyway, glad to know it's not just me! Very frustrating to manually enter the info for several MTTs a day, which I've been doing.

When doing database research, how do you go about looking at what opponents are doing in a spot and not me (Hero). For example, if looking at what hands PSB on river, interested in what pool is doing here not Hero. When I filter for this I only return my stats. Appreciate any help on this.

My hands on pokerstars have started reporting winning hands as losing and vice versa today. Is this due to daylight savings time? Will there be an update or do i need to do something manually?

Does PT record tournament buyins and addons correctly for tournaments on stars and 888? HEM3 even after importing the hand history after a session, it seems to be incorrect on stars and they said they will have an update on this.



Also, are the stats on pt more accurate than hem3? Last time I used a test trial of pt but stopped using it because i didn't like how the hud looked... it was okay but not as good as the hem3 so i sticked with hem3.

Go to 'My Reports', create an 'All Players report', remove the 'Player' stat and add 'Hole Cards' in its place. Add the simple filter NOT (Player is Hero) (and any other filters/stats you want) and you'll see the overall population's range of hands shown down.

Go to 'Database -> Currency', select any sessions/tournaments which have an exchange rate of -1 and click the 'Set Rates' button to fetch the correct exchange rates.

If you are having an issue with this please attach some of your tournament files to a Support Ticket and we can check that.

There are hundreds of different statistics but they should be accurate. If you have a specific example please provide details.

I just had a question about using PT4 to figure out how much rake I am paying during each session, each month etc for my tournaments. I can see under View Stats>Tournaments>Results> that I'm able to see the amount that I am paying for buying into tournaments, but I'm just wondering if there is an area where it shows what portion of that is rake. Thanks for your help.

If you want to view and replay individual hands then create a 'Hand Report' instead. You will also need to turn off the 'Filter on Active Player' option to filter the hands from every player's point of view.


There is statistic called 'My Currency Fee' that you can add to a built-in report or a custom report to see how much rake has been paid.

Randomly starting yesterday my currency would report the opposite of what happened in an all in hand. I won this hand, but it reports it as losing in my currency and is throwing off the data. was wondering how to fix this

I ran it twice, not sure if that's a possible cause

I just got a new laptop and I'm trying to set up PT4. Once dowloaded and installed, I get a "cannot connect to this database" when it tries to set up. Never have had this issue before, what can I do?

The 'My Currency' result is the inverse of the 'Game Currency' result so go to 'Database -> Currency', select any sessions/tournaments which have an exchange rate of -1 and click the 'Set Rates' button to fetch the correct exchange rates.

Is PostgreSQL (the program where PokerTracker 4 stores your poker data) installed and running on your new laptop? Click your Windows Start button then type the following command:

services.msc

and click on it when it appears. Do you see the PostgreSQL service in the list? Is it started, or can you start it? What is its 'Status' and 'Startup Type'? If the PostgreSQL service is not listed at all then it will need to be installed. You can manually download and install PostgreSQL v12 from here and for the two password boxes use 'dbpass' (no quotes) which is what PokerTracker 4 uses by default. If that installs successfully try starting PokerTracker 4 again but if that PostgreSQL install does not complete successfully then in Windows open File Explorer and enter the following in the address bar:

%localappdata%\Temp

In this folder there should be a file called 'install-postgresql.log' - please attach that file to a Support Ticket so we can follow up on this with you.

But why did that happen? and will i have to do that for my sessions from now on?

HUD no longer works for stars zoom. Works for reg tables. If I want to see villains stats I have to stop and start HUD, and it reappears.

Any fixes?

I am not aware of an issue at this time. Please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce your problem and then attach your support bundle to a Zoom Support Ticket. The support bundle is created via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4.
