I am trying to export my hud from my main pc and import it into pt4 on my laptop. When i try to import, i get the following error message:

"unable to import profile. reason: no stats found in import file"

Both versions of pt4 are the same, any idea why this is happening?

That sounds like your HUD profile contains premium content which can't be exported or imported to protect the interests of the author. If you want to transfer a HUD profile with protected content from one of your installs to another then see this post.

Hi, I had poker tracker for years and now it keeps deleting my stats. I would play poker and all my stats would get stored and my hud works great but then the next day the stats would disappear. What could be the reason?

Is it possible to have two instances of the software open at the same time in order to simultaneously run two different queries at the same time?

Is it possible to run multiple queries on the database simultaneously within the same instance of the software?

Where exactly in PokerTracker 4 are you seeing the statistics one day but not the next? If you are referring to your PokerTracker 4 reports then are you still on the 'Play Poker' tab? The 'Play Poker' section only displays data from the current session/day so if you want to review all of your poker data you need to move to the 'View Stats' section where there are a variety of built-in reports and filters - see this tutorial video for an example. If you are in the 'View Statistics' section and are not seeing all of your data then make sure you have the correct player selected and that there are no filters or tags active.

If you mean your own HUD while playing then PokerTracker 4 is designed to only show your session stats in the HUD at each table. As your own number of hands increases your lifetime stats don't change much if at all between hands but your image at each individual table may vary considerably depending on the cards you've been dealt or your opponents. If you want to see your lifetime stats for analysis purposes you can do so in your PokerTracker 4 reports or load up a hand (any hand) in the replayer and turn that option on via the 'Options' button.

It isn't possible to open two instances of PokerTracker 4 or to run multiple queries simultaneously within it.

Would it be possible to duplicate an existing database and then be able to run two queries simultaneously (one query at a time on one database?)

Suppose Player A opens the pop (ie raise first in) and Player B 3bets.

Is it only a 4bet opportunity if the 3b is less than the amount of Player A's chip stack?

In other words, if the 3b puts Player A all-in it would not count as a 4bet opportunity for Player A, right?

There's no way to filter out spots where Player A opens, Player B 3bets, and some intervening player(s) cold-call the 3b, right?

Basically I want to filter spots where the opener is heads up vs the 3bettor.


Are the positions of players who limp or who flat-call an open retrievable? I want to make a custom statistic that does the following: Player A opens the pot, Player B flats the open--I want to filter for when Player B is a particular position.

There's no way to retrieve the stack size of a 3bettor is there? I want to filter for spots where both the opener and the 3bettor have stacks that are within certain parameters.

Is there a way to retrieve the stack sizes of all players still to act behind the active player?

That's not possible.

You can use cash_hand_player_statistics.position to specify the position of the player the statistic is being written for. The positions of players who put money in on each street are also recorded in the actors & aggressors strings - see this post for information on how those strings work. This thread and this thread discuss how you can compare/test the strings and for more detail on pattern matching in PostgreSQL such as LIKE, SIMILAR e.t.c see this guide.
There isn't a strightforward method to do that and if you want information about a player different from the one the stat is written for then that would require a subquery - for more on how SELECT works in PostgreSQL see here. Also bear in mind that the use of a subquery will disable the use of the database cache.

Hello, for some reason my HUD stopped while I was playing. When I look at my PT4 active hands being imported, the last time it shows a hand is 3:48pm but it is 7:06pm right now, so it seems like its been down for over 2 hours.

I tried unintalling and reinstalling PT4 and that didn't help. I'm not sure what is going on. Generally my PT4 and HUD have been working fine without issues.

Is there anything you can recommend?

EDIT: I just checked PT again and now it is showing the latest hand being imported at 3:53pm. It seems like there is some sort of delay of when hands are being imported. Have you come across this before?

That sounds like a database or configuration issue so please capture this trouble you're having in a log file and then send that to us in a Support Ticket so we can see what is going on here and advise you accordingly:

Have some custom stats that wont show the "Times/Opportunities" data when I hover over them in one of my custom reports.

Do I need to enable something for certain stats to display this information?

No but if you want to change the opacity level of the HUD for all players when it is not moused over then that isn't done via the HUD Profile Editor. That is done using the 'Lower Opacity To:' slider in 'HUD > Edit HUD Options > General Settings > Advanced'.

Please enable logging, reproduce this problem and then send your log file to us in a Support Ticket. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File --> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and the file we need is the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder. In the meantime if the hands were originally played on this computer you should have the originals in your 'Processed' folder which can also be accessed via the 'File -> Open User Data Folder' option.
