I am designing some custom pop ups that include a lot of positional postflop stats. When i click the pop-up in game, it shows up with no numbers at first. Then, several seconds later the info fills in.

The HUD also lags occasionally when i double click or right click and select session stats. When it lags here I cant click for pop ups on any stats for up to 30 or 40 seconds sometimes.

My database is relatively small and my computer is pretty darn fast (SSD, quadcore, etc). Is there a way to fix these lag issues?

I want to import my hem database, but I don't want the imported hands to be taking up space on my ssd, I want to be able to save them to my hdd, is this possible?

At the moment i have a Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz with 4 GB RAM and a crappy harddisc. I'm considering to buy a SSD (OCZ Vertex 3 120GB) and add 4 GB of RAM. Would this increase the performance of PT 4 significant?

Pt4 team will be more accurate but the increase of RAM will def help during the game while the ssd will be awesome for importing lots of hh

Make sure you are running the latest beta 4.0.1.13 and you should get hero session stats.

Do these use custom stats? That would be slower than using the built-in stats and setting the 'Position' property. Built-in stats should appear pretty quickly.

The imported hands are stored in a PostgreSQL database and that will be created wherever PostgreSQL is installed (or configured to create databases). There are tutorials on the PokerTracker website about how to change that if you like.

Right click the report and choose Configure Report. Type "length" in the search box and double-click the Length stat in the top left to add it to the report and click OK. You can then click the column header of the Length to sort the report by it.

That's the page where you get a Beta key. If you already have a key, you can download PT4 here.

They are built in stats with the positions selected from the dropdown

The imported hands will be stored on the drive that Postgres was installed on. PokerTracker 4 exports the hands from HEM and places them in a text file format to be imported into our application, you can relocate these hands manually if they are stored on the SSD after the import from HEM is complete.

skraper -

Please export a copy of your PT4 HUD Profile, zip it up and attach it to a PM to stevenm on the PokerTracker forums. I'll work with you personally to investigate. Your description points to the overuse of custom stats, but since you are not using custom stats I think we should take a good look at your design to see what may be wrong.

Your description sugests that you may have a massive amount of hand histories from tournaments that need to be imported, or that you have disabled the Move Processed Files preference. Please confirm that the preference is set, and then click Play Poker and view the Import Status while running a live import - and walk away from the computer until this is complete. Once you no longer see the status updates you can stop importing, wait until PokerTracker moves all the processed files - this may take some time. Once this (possibly time consuming) initial import is complete, then you should be good to go going forward. Please be aware that large MTTs may take extra time to import,, this is necessary so PT4 can process the tournament summaries (if they exist on the site you are playing at).

We have not released official specs yet, but most modern computers with 2 gigs of ram should have few problems. Since the price of ram is very inexpensive now, we do advise increasing your ram if possible to assure your in-game experience is as smooth as possible.

Is it currently possible to do this with the HUD:

I want a stat for PFR which displays PFR from EP/MP/CO/BU/SB. I know I can set them each in the HUD but then this would take 5 HUD slots.

Am I able to create a single stat which changes to the corresponding value based on the players positon?

When a player raises from UTG the PFRstat should change from his overall PFR to the UTGpfr, same with BU, etc.

We researched your porposal above last year, but we found that this would be a detriment to the majority of our customers therefore this feature is not scheduled to be included in PT4.

Did you know you can assign a popup to any HUD table stat? For example you can create a popup just for PFR by position, and assign it to the PFR stat.
