are there any limitations using the trial version vs the purchased one i.e. only capable playing certain number of tables? Ty

My PT4 crashes now everytime on bwin poker! 4 days ago everything worked fine!
Seems that other people also have this problem. Please solve this NOW!

There are some limitations, but the number of tables is not one of them. We restrict the use of custom statistics in the trial, the use of TableTracker (our tablescanning tool), and the HUD shows a "TRIAL: PLEASE REGISTER" message while in use. It can be moved (via ctrl+click and drag) but will move back to its default location after a short time. There is also a notification when you start and close PT4 about your trial status so you know how long your trial will last.

PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. If you PM me your ticket number, I'll do what I can to escalate the issue for you.

OK - i figured it out.

This guy seems to have the same problem. Also i saw someone in your PT4 forums. It seems it has started on 11.11.2015. Is this some kind of a carnevals joke?

Did PT4 had an update on 11.11.2015 or was there an Windows update which could cause the problems.

Hello I have 2 problems with PT4:

- Sometimes when I play a tournament (STT or MTT) it registers as N/A instead of being, for example, STT (6 max) hyper-turbo. I have 340 tournaments out of 20k that are classified as N/A, and all those are real money games, either STT or MTT.

- In MTTs, whenever the following situation happens, the tournament registers as N/A and shows as -1 BI even though I cashed: whenever I bust right after the bubble (ex: when hand for play is in progress I go all in, end up busting but by the time the hand is done I have made it past the bubble and cash).

I have replied to your post in the PokerTracker forums.

Some sites give us very little information about their tournaments so it isn't always possible to detect them accurately, but please attach the hand history and tournament summary (if your site write summaries) files for a few examples to a Support Ticket with details of what types they should be and we'll see if the tournament detection rules can be improved.

Is there an improved version of the cEV stat which, in the case of a showdown, calculates cEV according to what the cEV was on each street and not just the showdown street? I am so tired of betting multiple streets with the best hand, getting outdrawn, losing a massive pot then looking at a big plummet in my cEV curve as though I screwed up.

Is there a way to manually classify N/A tournaments when this happens?

No - equities are only calculated at the point of the all-in. Adjusted results are only intended as a rough guide to how you've run - there are far too many factors involved to have a true indication of luck.

You can alter tournaments using the Edit Tournament Results window, but please send us the hand history and tournament summary files via a Support Ticket so that we can see why they weren't detected. If there is full information we may be able to update the tournament detection rules.

Is it possible to run PT4 HUD on prima's anon tables only? I'd like to run PT4 simultaneously with HEM, and use PT4 for anon tables only, while regular prima tables would have HEM HUD.

You can't selectively turn the HUD off completely for generic types of tables, but you could create a profile that shows no stats for the tables you don't want PT4 showing on, or us the PT icon to stop the HUD on those tables manually. You'll still see the PT icon in either case, but that's going to be unavoidable.

is pt4 banned from PS? got a warning about it while running ps + pt4.

No PT4 is not banned, but some changes were required to remain compliant with their latest terms and conditions so make sure that you're using the latest PT4 version; available on the PT4 Download Page.

downloaded it to solve this and now after reinstalling i cannot connect to postgres eventho im pretty sure i never changed the "dbpass" default password.

"Unable to connect to this database. Please check the configuration"

WTF guys?!?!?!

Is PostgreSQL still installed on your machine? Upgrading PT4 doesn't affect PostgreSQL or its settings within PT4 - have you otherwise changed anything (added a firewall/anti-virus) recently?

Hey guys. How are you? I'm needing a help here.

My PT4 is simple not counting hands. It's just freezing in like 200 hands (for example) and do not count forward.

I tried everything. I ran all the procedures (cluster, vacuum, rebuild cachê etc); I configured sites again; I close and opened again; I turn off/on my computer and I've downloaded the last version of PT4, but unfornately isn't counting the hands.

Do you guys know what this is? And can you help me please?

hi,

it seems like fulltilt,ipoker and more rooms/networks dont seem to support windows magnification. i already tried that what you suggested but then its impossible to work with my laptop.

is there an update which you roll out anytime soon to fix this or do i have to live with it?

This isn't a simple change to make so I'm not sure we'll see it in the short term, but it is planned for a future version. If you want a notification when DPI support is added please open a Support Ticket.
