For the third time, I would like to raise the issue of tables popping up on 888 when you stack. I don't want to sign up to get updated when the problem is going to get fixed, I would like to see it fixed.

FWIW, for the past few months, I had to stop using PT4 on 888 and had to shell another $100 for HEM. I still prefer PT4 though, I can't get the same type of stats on HEM.

PostgreSQL doesn't provide simple tools for migration from a data folder on a machine that is no longer booting. However, if you have all of your hand histories in your PokerTracker Processed folder on that disk, you can use Get Hands From Disk on your laptop and just import them there. That's almost certainly your simplest way to get your data back up and running.

Hud is not showing up when i play rush poker. Hands are importing fine but no hud. All other forms other than rush the hud shows up on FTP. I've followed the configuration guide to a tee and can't see to figure it out. In PT4 it says that Full tilt is not configured to save hand histories to disk. That's just not the case though. I have everything select that needs to be selected that i'm aware of. Is this a common thing? Help

That can happen if things aren't automatically detected properly. As long as the hand history folder in PT4 is set to the same location that Full Tilt is set to save hands it will work. Do make sure you have everything set to English and that you're starting things in the proper order as explained in the Configuration Guide. If that doesn't get things working then we'll need more information from you to further troubleshoot exactly what is going on.

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and send us your log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find the proper file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.

By default the original hand history files will have been moved to the Processed folder, which you can access via File > Open User Data Folder in the PT4 menu.

Hi, I recently purchased the upgrade, how should I go about importing all my higher stakes hands?

You can import them from the original hand history files using 'Get Hands From Disk'.

You can use 'import from folder' to import everything in the Processed folder - hands already in your database will be ignored. If you have a lot of hand histories it will take some time to work through them all so you may prefer to import subfolders to break it up a bit, but it won't affect your existing data - it will only import new hands.

Hello, I've noticed that lately my PT4 (v.4.13.5) is having troubles importing hands when I play Anon and Regular tables at once on Microgaming. It does still import hand but it laggs really hard. This doesn't happen if I'm exclusively playing one type of table or the other. Is there any solution? If I stop getting hands PT also laggs heavily and it takes like 15 minutes to stop importing. I made a completely new database a couple of months ago so that shouldn't be a problem. It only has around 150k hands and I always click'' clear databases now'' under Microgaming tab in PT to avoid getting duplicates.

Stupid question but are the dates inclusive in the reports?

I want a week's play between Monday 06/07 and Sunday 12/07, up to the start of a new week on Monday 13/07. Is it correct to input between 06/07 and 12/07?

All of our "between" filters are inclusive -- this includes dates as well as bet sizing or raise size facing. Anytime we use Between in PT4 it includes the endpoints.

Hello,

Recently I requested all my play history from pokerstars.
I'd like to analyze the differences in my game. For example I want to see my hud values in the first 300k hands, then the value in another 300k sample of hands..

How can I do this? It seems that the HUD reflects the overall stats of the sample and I can't pick a number of hands for the values to add up, the same when in holdem range visualizer.

Any tips? thanks

In the Replayer Hud you can look at your stats at the time of the hand if that is helpful - and you can limit it to the most recent X hands via Hud -> Edit Hud Options. That isn't necessarily perfect but it might give you a better idea when looking at a single hand.

To analyze your stats in full over different ranges, what's probably easiest is to use the filters and either one of our built in reports or a custom report in My Reports showing exactly the stats you want. To filter for the Last X hands use More Filters -> Game Details -> Dates and the Last X Hands filter. To get an offset you could do, for example, a filter for the last 600,000 hands and NOT(the last 300,000 hands) which gets you the 300k hands in between (starting 300,001 hands ago).

No, this is not currently possible. You would need to add a separate text element if you want to colour it differently.

This appears to indicate a general problem with the Microsoft Redistributable on that computer, and not something specific to PT4. If you do a web search for that error you will find some possible solutions.

Hello,

I play on 24h bet (microgaming) and my hud doesn't work on blaze (fast) poker, just on normal cash game. It also doesn't save my hand on PokerTracker, so I can't see my statistics. How could I solve it?
Thanks

We cannot add support for Blaze poker as Microgaming does not write complete hand histories for any hands which did not go to showdown that you lost. If they begin to write full hand histories, we will look into support further at that time.

Please open a Support Ticket and give us as much information as possible about the problem. Include logs and screenshots to illustrate and tell us what timezone your computer is set to and what site(s) you play, and whether or not the times of the hands are recorded correctly in PT4, and anything else you can think of which might be relevant.

Getting this error when trying to open PT4

" Unable to login to database (postgres). Reason: could not connect to server: connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "???" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?"

I tried disabling firewalls/virus protection temporarily and still could not connect.

Any help would be appreciated!
