So if I choose to not use the alpha when will my regular PT4 be able to support Merge?

We do not provide support for Alpha releases on 2+2, to get support you must visit our website and click Support > Contact Us to create a support ticket. Please zip and attach your screen capture to the ticket and also include the pokertracker4.log and pokertrackerhud4.log files from the session where this problem occurred. We must see the logs to determine the cause, as an alpha tester it is important that you share your experience with us.

Before you submit your logs there is one thing I would like you to try, please create a new database and then switch to this new database by making it active. Then please load up a WPN table, does it work? Next open a Merge table, does it work? Let us know if the new database made a difference for you in the support ticket.

When Merge is done fixing the bugs we encountered, and then we must add whatever time is necessary to test the changes we had to make to compensate for the changes Merge made. We cannot predict a time, its out of our hands.

PS:Merge Mac OSX / 4.11.10 Release Candidate (Untested) Users should re-download the Release Candidate, we have improved the release candidate to incorporate the Merge fixes for OSX.

if anyone got the wrong impression from my posts above, I wanted to clarify; pt4 support has always been prompt and has always responded to my support tickets. they do a great job in and out of this thread

Pokertracker, I have a player that whenever he appears in zoom I can't see any of his stats and it also messes up with other players positions. how can i solve this?

1) Please upgrade to PokerTracker 4.11.10 (just released). This may solve your issue if you were an early Release Candidate tester.

2) Please make sure you are following the instructions provided in this guide for Zoom tables.

Is there a report or result stat for hours played during the 24 hour period of the date. If I play thru to the next day the hours count them in the same session.

I record keep by the date.

Please review thie Reporting Options Guide, I think you would be best served if you altered the "My Day Starts At" setting to assure that your sessions stay with the prior day if you overlap past midnight. For example my day starts at 5AM, I never expect to start playing on a given day before 5AM, and I will virtually always stop playing before 5AM.

Had to re-format my laptop and reinstall PT4. All of the stats for my cash games are showing up fine, but when I try to see my tourney results, it's blank. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

This does not help me because my day can start at anytime, completely spiratic sessions. Do you have an alternative?

I'm afraid we cannot give you a good answer, there are too many variables and things we do not know - its best to start by showing us a screen capture perhaps? You may have a filter enabled accidentally.

If you reformatted your hard drive, did you first back up your database and restore it, or did you backup the hand history processed files and restore them?

Our reporting system is based on 24 hour periods, you can define when that period starts and stops, but it is always 24 hours per day.


For a short time frame you can use the date & time filters.

Have done all this. His screename doesn't appear and confuses the other hud's names when he is at the table.
The only explanation I see is that his name is too long (13 or 14 characthers) and appears in small letters.

We already answered this question in the last post, you need to complete the steps to send us a support ticket. We cannot help you further without reviewing the logs.

Issue corrected, I had a filter checked.

Since the update my HUD does not work on one table on Merge(weird huh) which is the .02/.04 table Riviera VI. Also, it sometimes does not lock my HUD layout but sometimes it does.

That can happen if the hand history does not match the table name exactly, please create a support ticket with the hand history from that table along with the pokertracker4.log and pokertrakerhud4.log files from the session where you played at Riviera VI. We need all three files to be able to determine the cause, and either fix it on our end - or notify Merge so they can fix it. Zip up each of these files, then attach them to a PokerTracker support ticket.

PokerTracker4 issues with iPoker

Hi

I downloaded the free trial of PT4 3 days ago and was very impressed with it. I was playing two tables across 888 and Titan poker without a problem. I was also multi_tabling at titan without issue. Yesterday, titan poker suddenly became unbearably unresponsive, animations jerky etc. even just playing one single table in an stt.*

While my laptop is not a beast it seems strange that it would work fine one minute then be verging on unplayable a few hours later. I've now reluctantly uninstalled PT4 and PostGresql and Titan runs like a dream again.*

Does anyone k ow of any reason for this sudden spiral in performance and whether there are any settings I can fiddle with in PT4 that will improve performance?*

I'm afraid there is little we can do since you uninstalled PokerTracker 4. The application needs to be installed for us to be able to get the data needed to help you with a solution. iPoker's client is known to have some bugs, typically a computer restart can solve these problems.

Thanks for the reply. I had tried restarting etc to no avail.

Is it possible to reinstall the trial as I still had 27 days left or is it a one time install only

I ask because I would definitely purchase the product if I could get rid of this issue

You can reinstall the trial, but the data you erased will not come back. If the slowdown happens again create a support ticket and include the pokertracker4.log and pokertrackerhud4.log files. can you import observed hands from Poker Stars?

PokerStars provides observed hands to you when you sit out at the table, if you were previously dealt in - PokerTracker is compatible with these observed hands.

HOWEVER we should also clarify that PokerStars Terms of Service does not permit the use of observed hands for datamining, you will be risking your account at PokerStars if that is your intention. PokerTracker is not intended to be used for datamining at PokerStars.

In closing, if you're asking about your own observed hands at tables where you are playing but have sat out then the answer is yes. If you're talking about observed hands at tables where you have no participation in the game then the answer is no.

How do I figure out what to enter for the configuring of PostgreSQL? It is asking for Server, port, database user, and password? Where do I get the info for these fields?
