Can anyone tell me how you can review yesterdays hands?

I have some hands marked and my sessions crossed the midnight time frame and i'm not able to view them. I've searched on the PT4 forums and briefly in this thread and didn't see it so if this is a repost please have mercy.

Go into the "view stats" tab on the upper left hand side of your screen within PT4. Then, filter the dates so that they include yesterdays hands and then they will show up on the list in the middle of your screen with your currency graph on top.

I can't find the BTN steal stat in hud profile. Att to steal - LP is the closest one, but I assume it includes both BTN and CO. Could anyone help me?

In PokerTracker there is no need for tons of position specific stats that make finding exactly what you need really hard, instead we use positional properties on all stats so you can chose the stat you want, and then define the position.

You are right that Steal from Late Position is all steals from CO & Button, we also have a general steal stat that includes all steals from the Small Blind as well. So to accomplish your goal you can chose either of these two stats since they both include button steals, and then change the Position property to Button (BTN) as shown in the screen capture below.

PS: The Steal from Button stat + positional property is already included in the HUD Popup by default, this screen capture shows the Preflop popup we use by default.

(Effective Stack Size Big Blinds Between 0.10 and 50) AND (Saw Showdown) AND ((Raised All-In) OR (Faced All-In Preflop))

Effective Stack Size Big Blinds Between 0.10 and 50 : found in Hand Details
AND
Saw Showdown : found in Actions & Opportunities - River
AND
(Raised All-In : found in Actions & Opportunities - Preflop Raises
OR
Faced All-In Preflop : found in Actions & Opportunities - Preflop Opportunities - this is used because you had the opportunity to call a preflop all-in. We chose this filter option because the Saw Showdown filter is included, which means only hands where you called the all-in or the stacks were shallow enough so a call was not necessary but you still got to showdown are included )

By the way, further to my initial question, where is the file stored that holds the data when you colour code people? Is there any way that this file could be stored on a Dropbox/Google Drive and shared between my laptop and desktop the same way that my Pokerstars notes are stored? This would be amazing on so many levels, whichever computer you're taking notes on, they'll be updated in both places, you would never lose them *and* it'd work across all sites - not just Stars as is the case now.

Its not difficult if you are using PT4 with the workflow we designed it to be used in ... what page were you looking at at that time? I think, but I am not positive, that you were looking at the Play Poker - View Today's Hands page accidentally which only shows today's results. All of the other reports show the lifetime of the Active Player, but you can alter that by adding a date filter - so in your case you add a date filter for Yesterday. Very simple!

Play Poker - Live Import Reports
Results - Reports that focus on your win rate
Stats - Reports that focus on the stats created while playing

PS: Each report has a little green question mark next to it, click that question mark to see a video tutorial that describes how to use that report or feature.

Thanks. We try to be as honest and transparent as we can be, but not everyone appreciates this - some people just want to be told yes rather than hear the truth. Others expect a very direct answer to their questions on forums, but they usually don't understand that forum answers are designed for all of the users reading the thread, not the person who asked the question - for personalized to the point answers a support ticket is the best way to accomplish that.

I'm honored you like how we styled our customer service & support!

Color coding is stored in the database, there is a table that includes a field for every player's color assignment. An entrepreneurial developer could create a color syncing tool in theory, its within the realm of the possible, but it would require some coding to do.

Well deserved!

Now, any coders out there fancy doing this? I reckon if you offered this it'd be really popular/well received.

I have to be fair here: I pissed and moaned a lot at first when I was trying to get the software working and figuring things out but this is turning out to be my favorite computer program ever. The graphs, the analysis, the built in leak tracker - My game is getting really tight over the last 1,000 hands that I've been using PT4 this month of November.

Definitely buying a registration code when my trial runs out. It's a gorgeous little program and I have to highly recommend this to other beginners. It's an essential, IMO.

Thanks again for the quick response! Unfortunately, I don't think is correct.. I may have input it incorrectly but the filters looked exactly as you have written and in my sample of ~900k hands it gave me a sample of 203 hands I have been all-in with shorties pre-flop which cannot be true.

To make the OR I clicked Raised All-In and held shift then clicked Faced-Allin and then pressed group. Is that right? If so, I don't think these filters are what I'm looking for.

Click Raised All-In and held shift then click Faced-Allin to select them both, then click "OR" Selected, not Group.

Hi,

Pokertracker is being very slow loading graphs and filters, I read somewhere that rebuilding the cache speeds up this process.

Is this correct?

Thanks

What stakes does the small stakes version of PT4 (the $59.99 Holdem one) go up to and include?

Thanks

This could help, but it also may not... there are too many variables to know for sure. Some things to look at include:

1) Disabling filters (or enabling filters in some situations)
2) Improving disk speed by incorporating a SSD
3) Looking at your sample size, if the database is too big, you could consider starting a new database fork
4) Determining if a custom stat or report configuration is forcing PokerTracker to generate the cache each time the report or graph is displayed
5) If it is a graph, consider disabling some of the graph options to only display what you truly need, and also be aware that some of the graphs are quite complex and resource intensive, such as the Global Player graphs.

Caching allows PT4 to pre-calculate stat sums, this is something that is performed automatically by PT4, but occasionally it might (notice i said might) help improve performance. When you rebuild the cache, this will also perform the other housekeeping tasks automatically.

If you would like our professional opinion as to what will help you, and what the cause of the delay is (or even if there is a noticeable delay), then feel free to create a support ticket and attach your pokertracker4.log file saved after a session where the problem can be reproduced. Please follow these instructions for submitting a Support Ticket.

When joining a tablestarter table on stars, preferred seat doesnt seem to work, so I have to switch seat in order for HUDs to show up in the right place. I am using Nova theme and is autocentered/at the bottom mid seat if that matters.

Thank you. TableStarters are a new feature at PokerStars, we will be working to address this issue in an upcoming release.

Net Adjusted Winnings is a calculated by correlating the ICM value of each chip, the size of the pot, and the All-In Equity Adjusted Winnings in chips to determine the Net Adjusted Winnings in a currency format. First we figure out the value of each chip using ICM combined without our world class Tournament Detection engine to make sure our ICM calculations are accurate, and multiply that against the size of the pot. Then we consider the all-in equity percentage preflop, you are expected to win 81.97% of the time. When you win you will get a pot valued at X when you lose then the hand cost you Y (the price of the buyin + fee). The Net Adjusted Winnings stat is calculated by adding the expectation of the hand with the actual results, therefore the calculation is (X * All-In Equity - Y = Net Adjusted Winnings. Naturally this is displayed in the graph as an offset from the prior graph point.

Our Net Adjusted Winnings calculations are so accurate due to our Tournament Detection Engine which is a massive database of tournament types and payouts - we do not use a one-size-fits -all solution for ICM calculation. The other reason is because we can enumerate our All-In Equity calculations, most other solutions just use monte-carlo lookup tables (we use a lookup table as well to speed up calculations when possible in headsup pots but in multiway pots we enumerate the results by performing the calculations live on the fly).

Let me know if you have further questions about this.

Why dont you realease a ICM program like wiz icmizer etc that allows ur structure, and make it a addd on to pt4?

thats what i dont understand
