Most of our users would disagree, but for some people there are still some bugs. Keep in mind the Mac version was just released, there are bound to be some bugs but they are rather benign in the big scheme of things. For the majority of users it is a very solid release, but for some users we are continuing to work out the issues that are specific to their computer configurations that we could not anticipate during development and alpha testing. Most of these bugs only affect a small number of people, the majority of our Mac users are working without too much concern.
For your specific issues they may not be bugs though, this might be user configuration error - lets explore and figure this out together, if the recommendations below help then it is not a bug, if they do not then we will need to have you create a support ticket on our website and attach logs that show these issues duplicated so we can investigate further why this is happening on your machine.

Complete the steps listed for the issue below, then restart PT4 once all hands are imported and try this again. This could be a side effect of not having processed files moved, or it could be an issue with your video drivers for your specific Mac. What Mac are you using? How much RAM is installed? I assume your discussing the Mac version, because your post insinuates that your a new PT4 user because it was just released, if we are wrong please let us know.
Also are you changing HUD Profiles in-game, or are you discussing editing HUD profiles? There is a huge difference between the two. In the meantime, we sugest you look at this video to learn how to assign HUD profiles away from the table -

We are not sure what this means from your description, but we have some possible ideas. Duplicates only happen when your hands are being imported twice, this usually only occurs when your PT4 is not configured to move processed files. Follow these instructions in order:
- Click Configure > Sites & Import Options. Click Preferences. Make sure Move Processed Files To is checked, and that the folder exists. Look at the folder to see if there are any hands being stored here (there shuld be)
- Close all of your poker rooms. Click Tools > Setup Assistant. Now click Configure Sites. Run through this assistant, at the end all hand histories found will be imported and then moved to the processed files folder.
- Start auto-import by clicking Play Poker > Get Hands While Playing. Click Import Status. Do you see any hands being imported? Any duplicates? If not, open your poker site and start playing. Keep an eye on this Import Status page, does everything work as expected?

PT3 was released because we got little feedback about problems prior to release... when it went on sale we were surprised to find some of the bugs we did. This is not the case with PokerTracker 4, the application was really solid even before we started Alpha testing, and the majority of bugs have already been worked out (a new release is expected any day now addressing more bugs that affect just a small number of users). Believe it or not, PokerTracker 4's Mac release went much smoother than we predicted, from a developer's standpoint it has been a great success. Within the next few releases we anticipate all of the bugs will be addressed, thats really rare for a developer to accomplish this so quickly.
